Villa Susana was exactly as described. Very well equipped, spotlessly clean. Just up the road from the village of Jesus Pobre with some excellent restaurants. Sue and Nick were there to great us with a warm welcome and a fantastic welcome pack. Genuinely couldn’t have found a better place to stay. We would highly recommend.

Excellent location & Pool

We stayed for week and loved the pool and breathtaking views, excellent facilities within the villa. The very best hosts you could wish for along with a welcome pack of lovely bread rolls , ham , milk , butter which made it very enjoyable. Could not have asked for more.

Cosy villa

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Susanna. We were greeted by Susan & Nick on our arrival, shown around the villa & given all the information needed for an enjoyable stay. The villa is well equipped & spotlessly clean. Communication prior & during our stay was second to none. Would happily return.

The best holiday ever at Casa Susanna!!

The villa was fantastic, so well equipped and welcoming. This was our first villa holiday with our youngest boys and it was everything we'd hoped it would be. The pool is superb, think my boys are now part fish! Can't thank Sue enough for a wonderful holiday, already looking forward to next year! Highly recommended Casa Susanna and Javea to any family!

Perfect Holiday

Just back from our third holiday at this beautiful property over the last 5 years. Sue and Nick are fabulous hosts, the villa is in a great area with so much to do and places to go within 20 minutes to an hours drive, or the pool and sun terrace are lovely and private if you just want to relax. The villa has a really well equipped kitchen, nice cosy living area. You couldn't want anything else for a stress free holiday. Fingers crossed well be back again next year.

Everything you need ...

Very well equipped, an easy place to enjoy your holiday. The air-con was a blessing at night time. Everything spotlessly clean and comfortable. Loved the mountains and area. Loved eating outside listening to the bird song and special evenings on the roof terrace watching the stars. Long stay with our dogs

We loved this property. The owners have made every effort to include home-from-home comforts to enhance your stay. The pool area and pretty tropical garden is breathtaking under the landscape of the Mongo Mountain. The pool is crystal clean and maintained throughout your stay. A generous welcome pack by the owners is also included, much appreciated after a long drive from France. The owners Susan ands Nick really should be commended for their hospitality - a lovely little villa that meets every need and more! 5*

Excellent; best in the Javea area

We enjoyed very much our stay in casa Susana. The welcome packet was great and much appreciated . The house is very well equiped and the kitchen has all the things you need and more. Susan, the very friendly owner, helped with the recovery of the luggage which was not on the plane on arrival and came two days later. Garden and swimming pool very well maintained.and refreshing after a day’s walking in the mountains. Airco is really ideal as it keeps the sleeping rooms and sitting room cool. This is the third time we are renting a property in the area and find this the best house.

Wonderful villa

We had three weeks in this lovely villa, although the weather wasn't great we still enjoyed ourselves thanks to the efforts Susan and Nick have put into the facilities of the villa. Plenty of room inside, fabulous pool and outside area, the photos don't do it justice. Susan had provided a very welcome "welcome pack" which was so much more than the norm, much appreciated. The welcome was warm and genuine, we felt like old friends visiting. Lots of lovely thoughtful extras throughout the villa, it was a real home from home, can't wait to get back there again. Jesus Pobre is a delightful village with some great restaurants and a lively market, Javea and Denia are within easy reach as the villa is central to both. We had a wonderful wonderful time and will definitely be back soon.

Great Hosts shame about the issues

Met Susan & Nick all very nice ...villa in need of complete update. Shower curtains around baths and showers reminded me of Greece in the 80s ...shower curtain in ensuite mouldy...shower head no pressure ...no dishwasher and no sign of a pool cleaner for our 8 days stay . Road noise from the small lane that passes by very noisy starts around 6am most days. Dissapointed

Lovely time!

We had a lovely time staying at Casa Susana. The owners made it very easy regarding arrival/departure, and the welcome pack was thoughtful. The kitchen had everything we needed, including things like washing up liquid, hand soap, kitchen roll, cling film/foil, supermarket shopping bags - all much appreciated. The bathrooms were clean, and showers worked well enough. Beds were comfy, nice to have the option of a fan, as well as the aircon. Outside, good to have lots of shade but still within view of the pool Location-wise, lovely views and much nicer than other areas we have stayed in/around Xabia, which have tended to be more built up. The local Sunday market was a nice surprise to have so close - and there were several good restaurants within a short driving distance, so we had other options than just those in the centre/harbour areas. Overall, we had a lovely time, and would recommend the villa.

Villa Susanna

A lovely, peaceful location. Pool area was fantastic. Inside villa is rather dated but beds are comfy, air con works in bedrooms and showers were good. Some other air con in sitting room and kitchen would be great in temperatures over 33c. The nearby town is only a ten minute walk but in temps over 30 it is very uncomfortable. For the first week of our stay Pedros was the only bar/restaurant open. 15th July. A car is needed. Xabia nearer than Denia and in hi summer better. La marina shopping centre, near Ondara, is good. Local grocery shop very limited. Masymat near villa good. The hosts were very nice, not intrusive and on hand to help with any queries we had. We left feeling well rested.

Fabulous Holiday Villa

This is a fabulous holiday villa near the village of Jesus Pobre, just 15 minutes away from Javea and the beautiful Playa del arenal beach area. The villa has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday with a great private pool and outside sun terrace area which gets the sun almost all day. Sue and Nick are great hosts, Sue met us nearby on arrival to take us to the villa and the welcome pack of essentials was perfect to give you a little bit of time to unwind before needing to go out and get some shopping in. The villa is spotlessly clean and its clear the owners take great pride in its appearance, and make every effort to ensure you dont have any issues. The area has numerous supermarkets, bars and resteraunts within 20 minutes drive. The markets in Javea on a Thursday and Jesus Pobre on a Sunday are well worth a visit, (especially the one in Jesus Pobre on the first Sunday of the month, when it is also a craft and flea market). We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa to everyone, and cant wait to return again.

Very nice villa & pool

On first arriving we were impressed, the pool area was very nice, and the house had all we required. Positives Pool, Good wifi Excellent welcome pack & toiletries Villa very clean Negatives Road noise, road not mentioned in house description. Beds move away from wall, and double bed mattress very hard. Aircon (extra payment not mentioned in house description) and only in the 2 bedrooms, also unit in main bedroom noisy. Toilet seat in main en suite was stained, and other toilet took several flushes to clear! On the whole we enjoyed our holiday, but if the road was mentioned in the house ad/description, we would not have booked it. Also the access to the road needs either the bushes cutting back and or a circular mirror placing on a pole opposite, as getting out is not easy, we had 3 close encounters with other vehicles as the exit is not far from a bend in the road, and they travel at speed. Good location for local beaches and restaurants.

Schönes

Wir haben 10 Tage in Susans Haus verbracht. Wir wurden trotz erheblicher Verspätung sehr herzlich von Susan und Nick spät abends empfangen und sogar noch bewirtet. Das Haus ist geräumig, hat einen schönen Außenbereich mit großem Pool und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Umgebung war wunderbar: auf der einen Seite die Berge zum Wandern, auf der anderen das Meer. Ein herrlicher Urlaub!

We live in Spain and own and manage Casita de Alba, Casa Almareka and Casa Susana. We do all our own maintenance and cleaning to ensure our villas are in perfect condition and spotlessly clean for our guests. I was a City Business woman until I found Casita de Alba in Jesus Pobre and from that day I knew I wanted to live there. I put my heart and soul into reforming the villa and made it into a luxurious, comfortable, welcoming home. We have had some wonderful times with many clients who come regularly over the years and who have enjoyed our properties.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

I first visited Jesus Pobre in my youth and was completely smitten.It is such a delightful village and so near to Casa Susana you can enjoy a leisurely walk to La Tasca Restaurant and the Sunday Market or enjoy a short drive to the beach. It is a perfect location.
The villa is spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and the views from the roof terrace are wonderful.
