Unser hübsches Haus in Hanglage bietet von jedem Fenster aus einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Berge, wir sind nur 2 km vom Lake Bled entfernt und wir befinden uns auf dem Weg zur berühmten spektakulären Vintgar Gorge, die nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt ist. Das Dorf Zasip bietet alles, was Sie brauchen. ein gut sortierter Supermarkt, ein freundliches Pub / Restaurant mit ausgezeichneter lokaler Nahrung und eine Pizzeria gerade 5 Minuten gehen herauf den Hügel von unserem Haus. Alles ist mit in 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Wir haben einen schönen Garten mit Bach und Teich und eine große offene Terrasse sowie zwei weitere geschlossene private Terrassen mit schönen friedlichen Ansichten.

Perfect situation

The property was well located, just outside Bled. The village had a couple of restaurants and a very useful supermarket. The property itself, was a home from home. Very well equipped and kept to a very high standard.Communication with the owner was excellent and instructions from the airport to the house were spot on. It was a great place to stay for our week and we will definitely like to return to the house and visit many more wonderful places.

Great stay

Family with older teenage kids - had brilliant time. Zasip is about a 40 minute walk to Bled so it was good to be out of the busy town. House was lovely with great views for watching the passing storms!! We did as lot of walking and recommend walking to Vintgar Gorge!

Lovely starting point to explore the region

Good and swift communication with the owner. The house was as it should be. Clean and sufficient cutlery etc. Beware of the steep and narrow road leading up to the house. We had a lovely stay in a beautiful country.

Zasip is a lovely village with narrow roads the road leading to our holiday home narrows to one car and the top of the hill leads to the Vintger gorge Hence we have the most beautiful views from all around our house. With lovely walks directly from our house , Yet Bled is just 2 kilometres away

It was unfortunate Erik had some problems with the heating while he was staying at our cottage , but we have wonderful neighbours, who look after our house while we are not there , and they were able to help ,we also have a wood burning stove which Erik was able to light in the evening's The cottage is an unusual design so the stairs are narrow and wooden but open plan but do have a wooden hand, for safety. I was pleased Erik enjoyed the lovely views and location It was a pleasure having them stay

Wonderful Stay

This property is well maintained. All needs provided. Elaine, owner, is super to work with. The views are fantastic. Being in this community gives you the insight to the beautiful Slovenia culture. It is close to lots of sights and a respite for quiet times too. Be sure to eat in Zasip restaurant and the Lake Bled golf course! Loved feeding the nearby goats. Can't wait to come back again!

Elaine was so helpful in everyway possible. We loved the little town of Zasip and so convenient to Lake Bled and the Capital of Slovenia and the National Park. She had welcoming gifts and many supplies you wouldn't expect. An awesome host.

Lovely home from home

We loved our week in Elaine’s property. It was a real home from home with all the small things like washing liquid, soap, etc provided. We spent many hours sitting on the balcony off the living room just looking at the spectacular view. We really enjoyed staying in the village and feeling part of the local community. The gorge walk was great and we also loved Lake Bohinj, Lake Bled and the surrounding area. Predjama Castle and Postojna caves are only an hour’s drive away and well worth a visit. Elaine was a fantastic host and always replied very quickly to messages. We would love to come back and stay in this lovely house again one day.

The listing description accurate regarding the location, layout, facilities, etc The property was spotless and well-maintained The owners provided good customer service and were superb at communicating prior, during and after the let Yes I would you recommend this property to a friend or relative Around there: Lake Bled is lovely and great to swim in, cycle or walk/run around (about 40 mins walk to the lake), Vintar Gorge a great walk straight from the house, the capital is about and hour's drive away, Lake Bohinji is a 40 mon drive and lovely with lads of activities The village restaurant is good simple good value food A great place to relax thankyou

Absolutely perfect

We are a family of 4 (inc boys 12 and 7) and this was the perfect house for us . We couldn't believe the views from the numerous balconies when we arrived and made the most of them all for breakfast in the mornings and a beer/wine /supper in the evenings .The house itself has a lovely layout , was really comfortable and we didn't need anything more . The location was great , wonderful walks from the door , very short drive/cycle to the lake and central to all the multiple activities to do in the area. It suited us as a quiet , beautiful place to return to every evening and we didn't want to leave . The owners always got back to us straight away and were immensely helpful . We really really hope we can return again and would recommend this wonderful home for anyone who enjoys home comforts whilst surrounded by the great outdoors.Thank you so much for a brilliant place to stay .

Beautiful Rental

It was perfectly located in a small, quiet village. Just what we like. The views were the best!!! We have stayed in many rentals in Europe and we consider this one of the top ones. Views, very clean, easy parking, accommodating owner, well-stocked kitchen, lovely neighbors. We fell in love with Slovenia. Such a kind people. The rental is located close to so many beautiful things to see. And it's quiet.....maybe a few tractors going by, maybe some goat bells, maybe church bells......what's not to love about all of this. Grocery store handy, the local restaurant has terrific food. Hearing Slovenian families enjoying each other over food and laughter. Just so special. There are not many places we say "hey, let's come back here" but our 8 days here were incredible. We'd love to come back. Elaine is very responsive on e-mail, is so kind hearted......it was a pleasure staying in her lovely home. Til next time, Elaine!!!

Peaceful location with great views

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay here. The house is in a lovely peaceful village with great views; it is just as per the photos - but much bigger than I expected, with plenty of room and lots of outdoor space. It is equipped with all you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We particularly liked sitting on the balcony outside the lounge enjoying the view along with a glass or two of wine each evening. We briefly switched on the TV the first night at the house but after that didn't bother as we preferred the views! However, there are lots of DVDs provided for anyone who'd like to watch something, plus a CD player, a variety of books, and plenty of pamphlets re places to visit, as well as road maps (very useful to take in the car in case the SatNav loses signal). As per a previous review, the road to the house is very narrow and steep - I'd hired a VW Polo which was just the right size to navigate this. Whilst on holiday I like to research online re places to visit so would reiterate that, as noted in the house description, the internet reception is patchy - it is also slower than you may be used to at home. However, the restaurant in the village has free wifi. From the house there are lovely walks around Zasip as well as longer walks to Vintgar Gorge and Podhom, as well as Bled itself. The Gostilna Kurej is just a few minutes' walk from the house and does delicious food, with plenty of options - even for someone like me, who only eats fish / veggie meals (their trout just melted in the mouth and they did a lovely mushroom risotto). There's also a small Mercator in Zasip for general groceries, whilst there's a larger one in Bled. Elaine was very easy to communicate with throughout. Ideas of places to visit: We took the train from Lesce-Bled station into Ljubljana one day, to save driving into the city. Other places we visited were: Vintgar Gorge; Škocjan Caves (well worth the long drive); Lake Bohinj and the cable car up to Vogel (great views); Velika Planina; Kropa; Škofja Loka; Kranjska Gora; the Franja Partisan Hospital (a fascinating place to visit, hard to find but worth the effort!); Vrsic Pass, Kobarid and of course Lake Bled itself. We loved Slovenia and its warm and welcoming people, and this house was a great base for us - we're already missing the peace, the sound of the church bells, and the wonderful views! Super Aussicht - niedliches Haus

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Elaine’s Haus. Die Aussicht auf das Dorf war genial. Der Ort hat alles was man braucht. Einen kleinen Supermarkt und ein Restaurant. Bled ist sehr nah, vor allem mit den Bikes gut zu meistern. Wir konnten unsere Fahrräder in der Garage sicher unterstellen. Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern ist das Haus nicht so sehr geeignet, da eine relativ Steile Treppe ins OG und den Schlafzimmern führt. Elaine war jederzeit erreichbar und der Kontakt war sehr nett und freundlich. Einziger Minuspunkt war das nicht vorhandene Wifi. Trotzdem können wir die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit in diesem Haus verbracht. Die Lage und der Blick waren super. Das Haus war sehr sauber und die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war unkompliziert. Wir können einen Urlaub hier nur empfehlen.

Supermooi uitzicht, attente eigenaresse, een echte aanrader!

Prachtige locatie, fenomenaal uitzicht op de bergen en op Bled. Op loopafstand zit een heerlijk restaurantje en in het dorp een supermarkt. Het huis is ruim genoeg, met alle apparatuur die je nodig hebt (op een wasdroger na). Verder een superlieve eigenaresse, heel betrokken en attent. Wij hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in Slovenië: de bergen, de cultuur, de mensen. En oud∋euw met uitzicht op het vuurwerk in de omgeving was geweldig. We willen graag terugkomen!

I am delighted Suzanne her husband and there twins had a wonderful time over Christmas and New year at our house , enjoying the fireworks and local culture , it was a pleasure to have them stay . And I hope one day they will return .

gelungener Urlaub in Bled

schönes gepfegtes Ferienhaus 3 km von Bled entfernt. Ich habe als Einzelperson dort schöne zwei Urlaubswochen verbracht. Im Haus mangelt es an nichts. Allenfalls vermisst man einen Fernseher mit deutschsprachigen Programm. Es gibt mehrer Balkone mit Sitzpätzen im Freien je nach Stand der Sonne. Außerdem gibt es einen herrlichen Blick auf Bled und Umgebung. Bled ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wandertouren in den Julischen Alpen oder in den Karawanken.

Ruhig gelegenes Haus mit guter Ausstattung/Raumaufteilung, schönen Balkonen und netten Nachbarn

Vom Haus aus kann man schöne Wanderungen und Radtouren unternehmen, zu Ausflügen nach Bled (See) zum tollen See von Bohinj, zur Seilbahn (Vogel), nach Kranj und Ljubljana starten. Vor Ort in Zasip findet man einen kleinen Supermarkt und ein gutes und günstiges Restaurant, so dass man einen abwechslungsreichen und erholsamen Urlaub erleben kann. Die Slowenen sind sehr angenehme Menschen, mit englischen Sprachkenntnissen kann man sehr gut kommunizieren, oft wechseln Gespräche aber schnell ins Deutsche. Spaß macht es, mit dem im Haus befindlichen englisch-slowenischen Wörterbuch slowenische Vokabeln zu ergründen. Wurst, Fleisch, Wein, Obst und Gemüse sind schmackhaft und günstig.

Fine house, great location

Ons verblijf in het huisje was prima. Fijn huisje op een goede locatie, dicht bij Bled als je dat wil bezoeken, maar in een rustig dorpje. Uitzicht vanaf huisje verveelt niet! Bedden, sanitair, keuken, allemaal prima. Het vijfde bed (slaapbank) is voor een klein kind prima, voor een volwassene misschien iets minder geschikt. Een wekker heb je niet nodig, de kerkklokken luiden vanaf 6.00.... Al met al een prima huis, een aanrader.

It is good to hear the family found the views from our cottage interesting , there is something different each day , One thing is , the Air balloons ,go up and come down in the field at the bottom of our hill, an interesting site to watch from the balconies. It was a pleasure to have the family stay We have a lovely view of our village church they do start chiming the bells at 7 am in the morning but luckily don’t chime through the night

Beautiful views

Nice, compact home, in a beautiful setting, with a mesmerizing view of the valley. The house has most everything you need: nice kitchen, comfy king bed, bath and a half with shower and tub. The furniture is comfortable, and fixtures are all high quality. The perfect holiday home to disconnect and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. I would not recommend this for people with limited mobility since the stairs are steep with narrow treads. The only problem we had was the lack of Internet. There is no usable Internet in the house, only on the balcony. It appears the owner doesn’t have Internet service and relies on a public broadcast from somewhere nearby. The owner says she mentioned it in her web page, but we didn’t get the memo since we booked on VRBO. On the bright side, we had excellent LTE signal, and have unlimited data.

We are a very happy couple from Altrincham in Manchester. with the birth of ourSlovenian granddaughter, we decided to buy a homely property in a scenic part of the country. Picking Lake Bled wasn't a difficult decision, and as soon as we saw this house, the scenery, and the view over and across Bled, we knew it was the place for us. Since then, we have spent each summer gradually renovating it to make it our dream property; we have renovated each room, added a wood-burning stove and new bathrooms, built a summer terrace above the garage, and feel that it is now the perfect home for a comfortable and relaxing trip away.

It is the perfect place for us. The location offers us the perfect combination of a natural and scenic getaway with so many amazing sights and walks for us to go on while at the same time being ever so close to the very centre of the busier Lake Bled

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

The very best thing about the property, though, for us, is our neighbours. Every one of them is just so lovely and willing to go that extra mile out of their way to help us and make us feel at home. Each time we arrive at the house for our holidays we find that they will have aired the house (in summer) or prepared the stove so that it is nice and warm for us (in winter) and are always happy to meet and greet any guests and offer them the most authentic of local delicacies, advice and experiences.
