La Bergerie besteht aus zwei wunderschön eingerichteten Häusern - dem Haupthaus (4 Schlafzimmer) und einem Gästehaus mit einem Schlafzimmer, La Petite Bergerie. Das Haupthaus kann allein oder mit La Petite Bergerie (gegen Aufpreis) gemietet werden. Das La Bergerie liegt an einem Südhang und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Esterel-Gebirge und das Mittelmeer. Das Haus ist umgeben von über 2 Hektar duftenden Gärten mit Terrassen aus Olivenbäumen, Feigenbäumen, Eichen und Zypressen sowie duftendem Lavendel, Jasmin und Rosmarin. Die Gärten und der beheizte Pool sind beleuchtet. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um einen ruhigen, luxuriösen Urlaub mit der Familie und / oder Freunden in einer idyllischen ländlichen Umgebung zu verbringen, nur 5 Autominuten von Seillans, einem der schönsten mittelalterlichen Dörfer Frankreichs, entfernt. Dies ist eine Gegend, die für ihre außergewöhnliche Schönheit bekannt ist und dennoch in der Nähe des Trubels von Cannes und der Küste liegt.

Beautiful House

It is a beautiful house with a wonderful garden, and peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect retreat, offering relaxation and tranquility. Highly recommended for a memorable getaway. A note however: the description of the advertisement should in future make it clearer that the pool is heated only at an additional cost.

A beautiful house in fantastic scenery

The house is located on the side of a hill outside the village of Seillans in Provence Alpes-Cote d'Azur. The views were amazing. The house itself was very well appointed with everything we could need. The accommodation suited our 3 families very well as we could be a bit separate. The swimming pool was glorious and allowed endless entertainment for our small grandchildren. Recommendations for places to visit and restaurants were provided which were very useful. Fantastic stay

I rented the house together with my husband, our one year old and four friends. We opted to get the guest house too as our baby wakes early. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. Was a bit afraid when I realised it doesn’t have AC but it was cool enough for sure during night - open windows with mosquito nets and fans did the trick. Would love to come back!

Outstanding Villa

We have stayed in many villas over the years and we would rate this one as the best to date. The layout makes living so easy, the spacious terraces, the fantastic pool etc, etc all brilliant. We loved the tasteful decor, the excellent equipment in the kitchen, quality beds & bed linen. We greatly appreciated the generous provision of all basic materials for kitchen, laundry, inflatables, pool towels (very unusual in our experience) ........well, almost everything really. Debbie was a delight to deal with an Marie Louise the housekeeper an added bonus, we cannot recommend this villa more highly.

Stunning Provencal villa

When we arrived we were blown away by the beautiful view from the terrace of the villa all the way down to the sea. The pool and gardens are lovely, we particularly liked all the different sitting areas and terraces around the property, particularly the deck area with comfortable sofas, lots of places to enjoy a glass of rosé in the evening. The villa is very well equipped and the beds are supremely comfortable. The location is a great base to discover the area, we had a day trip to Antibes and St. Tropez. The neighboring village of Fayence has a great market and Seillans has a couple of wonderful restaurants. The Villa manager could not have been more welcoming and helpful. I could happily recommend this Villa to my friends and will definitely be booking a return trip.

Perched in Provence

Our family spent a week at La Bergerie in August. despite the predictable crowds in Provence, we experienced quiet beauty in a home with everything we could ask for and more. I’ve been a regular VRBO user for easily 15 years. This home surpassed all prior experiences. It is set outside of a beautiful perched village with olive groves and vineyards and vistas all around. The home has multiple patios and decks to relax with wine and a good book for those days you don’t wander off to see the beach, or a nearby market, museum, etc. it is tastefully furnished with a thoughtful, creative eye and worked very well for a family of two parents and three adult children.

A fantastic holiday home

This is the second time I have stayed at this beautiful home set in the mountains and this stay did not disappoint if anything it was better second time around. The owners have made a number of improvements since I last stayed, my favourite being the stunning deck area where you can sit for hours taking in the fantastic views which surround the property. This is not the only area where you can sit and relax, there seems to be so many in and around the property. The pool was very clean, inviting and refreshing. We made use of it every day as the weather was lovely. The owners have paid great attention to detail and the house is very well decorated and the beds extremely comfortable. It was so nice to wake up every morning to the gentle sound of birds. The gardens are well maintained and the calming smell of lavender is a bonus. This is such a special place to come to on holiday and I shall look forward to booking this house again.

I Thought I had Died and Gone To Heaven

A small group of us had decided to take a long weekend in the South of France to relax and enjoy each others company. Heaven itself could have provided a better solution. Le Bergerie just outside Seillans is an idyllic retreat, beautiful views, peaceful and everything it promised to be in the description. Clean, tasteful and a real home. It was easy to find the given the instructions and everything was ready when we arrived. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to good friends and relatives but only if they promise to take me with them, this is a place you would visit again and again. We walked down to the beautiful village a few times to visit the amazing Chez Hugo's which was recommended by the owners. Fantastic food, ambience and staff. I could go on and on but my advice would be try it for you self!!

Large family holiday

The villa is large and well-equipped; although requires some modernising, updating and repair. The setting is peaceful & relaxing, the pool is lovely. Take bug spray! It’s a shame the town is not in walking distance due to the steep mountain road. The pool area is in need of repair-loose coping stones and broken steps leading to the pool, uneven flooring. Indoors, the downstairs rooms get really hot, and we had difficulty opening doors and windows for ventilation. In the kitchen, the fridge & freezer could do with updating. However, there’s a lovely balcony seating area, beautiful views, and a peaceful setting which felt safe for a family holiday.

A fabulous stay at Le Bergerie

We had a wonderful few days at Le Bergerie. The house is set on a hill with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and sea. It was lovely to sit on the terrace at meal times and look out at the beautiful views and hear the birds singing. All the rooms are beautifully decorated and the kitchen was very well equipped. The owners have wonderful taste and no expense has been spared to make sure all your needs are met. The gardens are extensive and very typical of the area with olive trees and lavender bushes. We had fun playing boules on the boules court and also making the most of the lovely pool. There are plenty of attractions to visit within easy reach of the house so much so that there was not enough time to visit all the places recommended. We also ate at some great local restaurants, there were so many to chose from that we were spoilt for choice! Staying here you have the best of both worlds, peace and tranquility at the property or the excitement of places such as Cannes and St Tropez not too far away. I will definitely be returning again to this beautiful house with its stunning gardens.

La Bergerie

La Bergerie, situated just outside the pretty village of Seillans affords the most wonderful views across the hills down towards the coast. Beautifully and very comfortably furnished the owners have filled their home with thoughtful touches for their guests. A very peaceful and relaxed setting. It is in an ideal spot from which to explore the South of France without being too close to the built up areas of the Cote d'Azur. Wonderful markets to visit including nearby Fayence and Draguignon where you shouldn't miss having lunch at Les Mille Colonnes in Place aux Herbes. Only forty minutes from the beaches and more restaurants. Sainte Maxime is particularly worth a visit, lovely cobbled streets full of tempting restaurants and shopping and only a stone's throw from the beach. Seillans itself has several restaurants including Chez Hugo where we had delicious meals of locally sourced food. The quality of the local shops was excellent and we had a several great barbecues on the terrace balcony. Stopping off for lunch at Mougins on the way home sealed a really lovely family holiday. Just wish we could have stayed longer! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend La Bergerie as a great base for a family holiday. Thank you.

Wonderful 2 weeks in the hills of the south of france

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at La Bergerie. We loved the winding roads leading to its remote location and the views from the house are breathtaking and calming. It was fun to explore the region from sellaines - Cannes, st maxime, Antibes are all about an hour away - but we always appreciated returning to the peaceful quiet of this house and its surroundings. we also visited a few vineyards and loved the many perched villages, especially mons which we discovered on our way out. We appreciated the simple but tasteful decor of the house- white with blue accents. It was a perfect canvas for us to make our own memories. The kitchen is small - a one person kitchen really - but equipped with anything you might need. The covered outdoor porch always cooled down in time for lovely dinners. It was very hot for 3 days while we were there and we lived in the pool and would not have survived without it. At night the many fans helped. Our only suggestions would be getting heavier umbrella bases as there were several windy days and even strapped down, umbrellas were knocked over. Thank you for opening your home to us! We would definitely recommend!

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful time at the villa in July. The property manager was very accommodating and helpful, and the house was very clean and relaxing. Our family of five, including three young children, swam in the pool over and over again. We loved having meals and playing board games on the porch overlooking the valley. Supply runs to the grocery store in Seillans were easy, and the sleepy village was very charming to walk through and explore. Fayence was a short 15 minute drive away to visit the market and explore as well. I highly recommend staying here, and would stay again.

Our Stay at in Seillans

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were two couples with three children and assorted friends. The house easily accommodated us for our two week stay. The owners have made many nice touches to make it not just a rental but a very warm, homey experience. And they left many wonderful suggestions for things to do. Seillans is charming. If you are looking to experience the Cote D' Azur, but want to also be a bit away from it all, this is a great option.

Beautiful Villa

This is a beautiful villa in a beautiful part of France. It's equipped with everything you need for a short or long stay. I can't think of anything that I could say was missing. We enjoyed many a day visiting the local hilltop villages as well as just lazying around the superb pool. Most evenings were spend eating dinner on the veranda and watching the night sky. A lovely place to recharge your batteries

We had extraordinary house to enjoy nice, calm and relaxing vacations. The house is gorgeous, beautifully arranged and decorated. The garden with the different levels, terraces and lounges is an beautiful place. Ideal for a family with older kids. Ours loved to explore the garden, while we enjoyed a cool glass of Rosé in the late afternoon sun. A real treasure to relax and enjoy the vacations.

Very relaxing - peaceful location

Ideal location for family or group holiday. Very well equipped property with excellent outdoor space and pool area. Seillans is a lovely hill side village

We bought La Bergerie having fallen in love with Seillans and the beauty of the surrounding area, we have a large family all of whom love holidaying in this beautiful part of the world.
It has always been a dream of ours to spend more time in the South of France and this is the place that has become our heaven on earth to share with family and friends for hopefully many years to come.
Our house is extremely comfortable and we use it year round as the location lends itself to summer and winter pursuits including skiing.

When we first visited La Bergerie we fell in love with the views, the house and the magnificent grounds. Seillans itself is one of the most beautiful villages in France, steeped in history and with its lively markets, vineyards, olive groves, galleries, fabulous restaurants and the cooking school it is a perfect palce to spend time.
The summers are hot, the spring and autumn pleasantly warm and winters mild - a welcome change from home! It was important to us that the house was easy to reach if we want to escape just for a weekend. It was also important that there is a 'depth' to the area - plenty of artistic, cultural, historical and sporting diversions especially skiing to keep us occupied.

When we stay at La Bergerie we feel extremely comfortable and fortunate to have such a beautiful property with an aspect, climate and provencal aroma that we couldn't have in London. The house is very private and peaceful as it is not overlooked, however we can walk into the village for dinner or to a local music festival if we want too. It is easily accessible to the coast and with Nice being served by multiple airlines it gives us easy access to a region with many attractions and places of interest. The time we spend by the pool and the lunches on our terrace with a glass of rose are heaven. We hope that we are able to spend more time there!
