We would highly recommend this villa for anyone looking to stay near the lovely seaside town of Sitges (10 minutes away) and looking to explore Barcelona (approx 40 mins away). The villa was immaculately clean, comfortable and with all the amenities you could wish for. The swimming pool, sitting areas and terrace with table tennis table make it great for families with children of all ages. The property host was also extremely friendly and communicative. We would be delighted to come back to stay in the future!

Perfect stay for my family

We had 2 weeks in Spain and spent the first week travelling around different cities before arriving at the house. This was the relaxing part of our holiday and didn’t disappoint. The house was beautiful and set in a quiet location with views of the mountains. There was a large pool to cool down in which we all loved and a fully equipped house making it like a home from home.It was very easy to get around with a. hire car but this was definitely needed given the location. We had a mixture of ages on our trip and all were able to enjoy it. Check in was easy and communication with the host was perfect. I couldn’t recommend it more.

Heerlijke week gehad

Het huis en dan met name het zwembad was super! Heerlijke week gehad met onze kids. Moesten wel alles met de auto doen, omdat het best klimmen is qua hoogte, maar dat ging prima.

Very nice villa with beautyful view

The villa was like in the pictures and discription, very spacious and in a quiet area. The view overlooking the mountains is beautyful. There was a great swimmingpool and our 2 little kids loved taking care of the turtles. The owner Josep is very friendly. We had a great holiday!

Great stay, great owner, great property.

Had a really nice stay here at Anton's place. Superbly well-equipped, clean, spacious and everything you could wish for. Personally, air conditioning would have made it absolutely perfect but that wouldn't prevent me from booking again. Oh, and the tortoises are lovely 😍

Lovely villa

We have just got home after staying here for the week, and we had a wonderful time , there villa was perfect for our family , we really enjoyed the pool and the bbq … the girls also loved the two turtles. Communication with the host was great , very helpful and quick at responding. We really didn’t want to come home. Would recommend this villa highly . Supermarkets were about 15 mins drive Beaches 15-25 mins drive we preferred cubelles beach rather than Sitges as it was easier to park the car there. Also enjoyed going to Casteldefels a couple of times for meals and the beach. 10/10 holiday Thanks for having us Matt

Heerlijk huis met veel privacy

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in het huis van Josep. De foto's geven het huis perfect weer. We hebben heerlijk van de verschillende zitjes in en om het huis genoten en het prachtige uitzicht op de bergen en het zwembad heeft voor vele uren speelplezier gezorgd. Het huis ligt wel wat afgelegen dus voor alle activiteiten was een auto nodig, maar met Sitges op nog geen kwartier afstand was ook dat geen probleem! Heerlijk tot rust gekomen en genoten van de rust en de privacy die het huis bood!

Spacious villa with beautiful pool and splendid views made for a fun and relaxing holiday

First of all, we were warmly welcomed by Josep Anton, who was very friendly and helpful. So check-in went very smoothly and pleasantly, everything was well-prepared and arranged. The house is beautiful and totally corresponds to the photos and description in the ad. It is very clean and spacious and offers everything you need for a wonderful family holiday with a toddler and 2 teenagers. The children especially enjoyed hours of fun in the super nice pool. And the beautiful location in the hills with splendid view from the porch provides the ultimate relaxing holiday feeling! Olivella is located in the heart of Penedès and offers easy access by car to the city of Sitges and its beaches, and Barcelona. We had a wonderful holiday and of course we highly recommend the villa!

Una casa perfecta

Nos gustó mucho la casa. Tiene absolutamente todo, la cocina es enorme, un monton de utensillos, platos, dos cafeteras y mil cosas mas.3 habitaciones, 3 baños... Piscina, zona con cesped, barbacoa, gallinas detras que dan huevos.todo muy limpio incluso los utensillos e interiores de armarios. Ideal para ir con niños. El dueño es muy majo y amable y viven al lado para resolver cualquier problema. Hay que moverse con el coche, pero la ubicacion es ideal: cerca de Sitges, playas, Penedes ..rodeado de viñedos.

Excellent séjour

Séjour très agréable : maison très bien équipée, propre, beaucoup de commodités, de beaux espaces extérieurs. La maison est très bien située : proche de la mer, de Sitges. Barcelone et Montserrat a proximité. Aéroport accessible très facilement. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et sympathiques tout en restant discrets mais disponibles pour répondre aux questions et recommander de bons plans. Visite à ne pas manquer : le Cellar de Ribes où un accueil chaleureux vous attend. Merci à Anton et Teresa. Nous espérons revenir pour un prochain séjour avec des amis. Seul petit point d’amélioration : garder une chambre enfants avec 3 ou 4 couchages et prévoir un lit double dans la troisième chambre pour pouvoir venir à 2 familles.

Vacaciones en familia espectaculares

Loved it!

Anthony is a friendly owner who lives locally to help when needed. A huge clean kept villa in exceptional decoration. The pool was welcoming on the very hot days. Security was very good with on site alarm and electric gate. Fresh eggs every morning we had from the chickens at the back and we also enjoyed looking over the 2 tortoises in the garden. A very good base for trips to Barcelona and a 10 minute drive to a very nice sandy swimming beach. We would of liked a 2nd double bed, but it depends on who is in the group. We would recommend this villa to anyone.

Beautiful house

We loved our stay in the house. It was very calm and relaxing and the pool area was very nice. Every morning there were fresh eggs that took the breakfast to the next level. It took about ten minutes with the car to Sitges and the beautiful beaches. Thank you Anthony and family for a lovely stay at your beautiful house.

Beautiful villa with amazing views

The villa is amazing. Rural location but only a 10 minute drive from the nearest town. It is spacious and with 3 bedrooms offers enough sleeping space for 9 people and there is a cot bed on request. 3 bathrooms so no queuing to wash in the morning and it was very clean. The outside space is lovely and the built in barbecue is great. Chickens at the back of the property gave us fresh eggs every morning and there us a lime tree in the garden too. The pool area is beautiful and there is loads of space surrounding it to relax. I was very pleased with the security of the pool area. It can only be accessed by a gate with a lock on so is very secure if you have small children. There is also a perimeter alarm which gave us extra peace of mind when going out and locking up at bed time. Anthony was very pleasant, he came and serviced the pool for us when we were out and on arrival there was a welcome gift of meat and cheese. He was only a phone call away when we needed him. I would definitely recommend this villa, it was beautiful and the location picturesque. Thank you for a lovely stay

A lovely, family friendly villa, great location for exploring Barcelona and surrounding area

We very much enjoyed our stay at Olivella.The villa is spacious and clean with plenty of outside space including a very efficient BBQ!, decked patio and a shaded dining area. The pool,on a lower terrace, is lovely (and although it s overlooked by a neighbors balcony, we only saw them once or twice) There are chickens too , behind the house ,so we had fresh eggs for breakfast every day.!The house itself is quite open plan with plenty of doors and windows giving a fabulous view out over the hills. The kitchen is well equipped but there weren’t enough decent size mugs to accommodate our English tea-drinking habit ! Also we could have done with a fan in each of the bedrooms instead of sharing just one . A car is essential as there isn’t much in the immediate area but the nearest town is only 5 mins drive and there are out-of-town supermarkets only about 20 mins away . It s a great base for exploring the area,easy access from the airport, less than an hours drive into the heart of Barcelona, the buzzing holiday town of Sitges is 20 mins away, with lots of restaurants and beaches a-plenty. The only downside we had was the mosquitoes which were voracious so bring plenty of insect repellent/ antihistamine. Anthony lives locally and so is on hand if there’s any problems . There were a few mis-communications prior to our stay however I think they were mostly a language issue! (But maybe it would be helpful to know at the beginning,that you can pay by credit card rather than cash as stated in the contract ,as this would have saved me some anxiety!) All in all we had a thoroughly good time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the property. Thank You Anthony

Dejligt hus, også til familier med børn. Vi nød ugen i fulde drag 👍

Vi (bedsteforældre, forældre og barnebarn) nød vores uge i huset, hvor vi hurtigt følte os hjemme. God plads til alle, med alle de praktiske forhold i super fin stand. Dejligt at der er høns, som gav os fine æg vi spiste morgen, mddag og aften. Det er nødvendigt at have bil, da der er langt til indkøbssteder. Vi vil helt sikkert anbefale huset til andre.
