We had a fantastic 10 night stay here as 2 families (4 adults and 4 children). Claudia was very responsive and we even managed to get into the villa a couple of hours early. The grounds are generous, pool a great size and rooms large (particularly upstairs).The villa is very well equipped with everything you could need for a great stay!Overall a fabulous villa with great hosts!

Lovely villa

The villa was great and the whole experience was excellent. The pool was just right and was well used and we felt it was a good size. It was a delight to have our own private pool.Overall a great experience so much so we are coming back!

The most perfect stay

We arrived to the villa 8 adults and had a great time here, it has everything you would need to have a perfect holiday. We made plenty of use of the good sized pool everyday and the pool table kept us entertained as well. All rooms are very spacious with a big sized kitchen for multiple people to use at once. We also enjoyed using the BBQ area at the back of the house, we used this twice with no issues. The hosts were great in all aspects, responding to messages promptly answering all our questions. The villa is situated only a 10 minute taxi away from the old town which we Bolt only costed 5 euro which is very cheap and convenient. Would recommend this place for both families and adult holidays, thank you for having us!

Lovely spacious villa with everything you need.Plenty of outside space around villa and pool.Small supermarket within 10min walk.Large supermarkets 10 - 25 minute Drive or Uber.Claudia responded quickly to any questions.Only minor remarks,beds hard and pool towels very small but did not affect a lovely holiday.Would recommend this villa and will definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

Beautiful villa just like the photographs, plenty of space for everyone to chill. We loved the pool area and honing our charcoal BBQ skills in the evenings. The Spar shop is within easy walking distance for small items but I would say with a family of six you really need a car to go to Aldi or Intermarche supermarkets for the larger shops! We used UBER on adult evenings out, all arrived no problem. All in all a great villa for a family holiday, my only two suggestions would be for the beds downstairs to have mattress toppers on them as my son & his wife found them very hard. Also try to improve the wifi signal (perhaps a Mesh system would help if available) we often lost signal upstairs and outside, minor issues but will make a big difference

A beautiful vista

Villa Dionisio is a lovely home with spacious rooms and a great swimming pool. The kitchen is large and the dining room is nice. Picking fresh lemons from the tree on the grounds is a treat! The Villa is situated on a hill with a curved driveway. There are two large metal gates that must be unlocked, propped open and then closed and relooked every time you go in and out. We rented a car which was challenging but worthwhile. I would recommend taking a taxi to the Old City as the streets are narrow with many parked cars. There is a large two story grocery store that is 8 minutes by car - again you could choose a taxi. Unfortunately our stay was interrupted by ants in the house and especially the kitchen. We could not leave out any food and it impacted on our holiday. The owners tried many products and offered many suggestions and techniques. However, it was still an issue when we left. The owners are very kind, polite and genuinely want to help you. Once the ant issue is resolved - then this villa will be a marvellous family vacation.

Perfect family villa near all amenities & beach

A fantastic holiday in a superb family villa. From the outset of our first enquiry, communication with Claudia, the host, was spot-on. Any queries we had were always answered promptly & thoroughly. There were 7 of us staying here, 6 adults & our 18 month old granddaughter. The villa itself is incredibly spacious, with a beautiful pool & lovely secure outdoor area. The pool table was used daily & is a great asset for when you want to perhaps have a chill day at the villa! The interior of the villa is very nice & plenty of room for all, air conditioning in the bedrooms and slatted, lockable outside shutters on the windows, plus sliding windows. The beds, for us, were exceptionally hard which none of us particularly liked, but beds/mattresses are a personal preference! Lovely balconies upstairs from the bedrooms. Plenty of supermarkets nearby and further afield if you want to drive. The nearest beach is about a 20 minute walk (Santa Eulalia), beautiful & good for families, however there are steps to negotiate. The sea is lovely & clear, if it’s not windy, the sea is great for all, but be mindful if the wind is up as obviously the waves can be quite big! There are snack bars & a couple of restaurants on the beach. We ate a couple of times at the villa & a few times at a lovely restaurant called Portobello, about 25 mins walk. The Old Town & Marina is great for some touristy stuff & The ‘Strip’ (lively at night!). A fabulous holiday; we loved Albufeira! Thank you!

Excellent Villa

I booked the villa as a surprise for my husband's 40th Birthday. I wanted everything to be perfect and it was. From my first enquiry with Caroline and the team to departing the villa - everything was excellent. Many thanks to Caroline and the team for all their help and responses to my questions (and there was a lot). They answered them quickly and managed to put my mind at ease about everything. As for the villa - well it is out of this world. Absolutely spotless, tidy and plenty of room. The outdoor space is brilliant and the pool is amazing. We came to the villa for two weeks and enjoyed every minute of our holiday. The owner is lovely and very helpful also. The villa is very well equipped and has everything you will need. There is the added bonus of a pool table, which isn't mentioned on here. The villa is very private and not overlooked at all. It has some nice views from the balconies also. There is a supermarket about a 10 minute walk away for any necessities you need, but we decided to get a large shop from Lidl which is 10 euros in a taxi each way. The English fish and chip shop is about a 25 minute walk away and another 5 minutes will take you to the bottom end of the strip. We had an amazing time at this villa and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Thanks again to Caroline and the team for all their help. We can't wait to return (hopefully soon)

Excellent Stay

We have recently returned from a one weeks stay at this fantastic villa. The villa was stunning and absolutely spotless the pictures are very accurate and don't actually do the villa justice. I had some concerns about booking and many , many questions and requests for information all of which were dealt with by Lorraine and her team with complete professionalism and courtesy at all times. The location is very convenient , I was a little concerned about this but we managed a walk to the beach and local supermarket with our 4 year old ok and both were within a 15 -20 min walk. A car would be handy but likely to be quite expensive if the villa is at full capacity and you are hiring a vehicle for 8. Taxi service was reliable and fairly cheap but does add up if venturing out daily. I'd recommend a big Lidl or Aldi shop with lots of bits for the bbq so that valuable relaxing time is not spent over a stove. There was plenty of space outside for the kids to play games and run around when not in the pool. Just a little info on the pool, it slopes from shallow to deep quite quickly and whilst not heated was not too cold. Just one comment / suggestion whilst a welcome pack is available on request I feel that it would be a nice touch to at least provide some water for guests in the fridge on arrival. Assuming that most travellers are arriving with children it saves having to worry about rushing out to get the basics. All other places that I have rented have provided at least some basics as a matter of course. I'm not one to return to the same place but will most definitely welcome the opportunity to stay here again.

A beautiful villa with absolutely everything you need. Pool graduated from shallow to deep enough to dive in.Quiet location a little further out than we expected however Uber taxi service was superb, never waited more than a couple of minutes and cheap enough to get us anywhere we wanted to go.A couple of local supermarkets around 10 minutes walk away for essentials but a large Aldi in town a short taxi ride away.Claudia and her family are superb hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them and communication was excellent.We would happily go again!

Amazing

We chose this villa for its level of accommodation, location and outlook. We were amazed at how much bigger the villa was when we arrived. Space for everyone and more!. The Villa was very well appointed with everything we needed (the full size pool table got plenty of use). The pool was fantastic and easily accommodated our family of six. Actually enough loungers for eight. The resort center is a leisurely 20 minute walk where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. A little further by bus, Uber taxi or tut-tut, and your in Alberfuera old town. If you go by taxi, order an Uber taxi, much cheaper (book through the Uber App). We had a fantastic holiday experience and would definately recommend this villa.

Lovely Villa

Lovely villa, clean and well equipped. We hope to come again. Good location with restaurants, bars and beaches within 20-30 minutes walk. May be difficult with young children or the less mobile although local taxis are not expensive. The property manager was very helpful. Feedback for possible improvement: - mattress toppers for those who struggle with the very firm mattress - some extra pillows of varying softness - comfortable outdoor seating for evening or shade in the day (ie outdoor sofas and armchairs) - better outdoor lighting by the pool to make the most of the area in the evening This is a lovely villa and we really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely villa for a family holiday in a quiet location

The villa was beautiful and looked just like the photos. Plenty of spaces to gather as a family but also space out when needed. We went as a family of four and the villa had everything we needed for our stay, spacious rooms, ensuite bedrooms and large living spaces - not that you'll be inside much. The pool table is a welcome reprieve from the sun. There is no need to leave the villa with a local Spar at the bottom of the hill although if you want to venture into the main resorts of Albufeira or Vilamoura it is useful to either budget for a taxi or rent a car. Takes about 10mins to Albufeira and 20/25 mins to Vilamoura. All in all a lovely stay.

Lovely well kept villa in a quiet location.

Lovely Villa, lots of space. Pool was a godsend, as was the AC. Claudia was wonderful in making sure check in was seamless. Communication was top. If you are staying here, use Uber rather than the local taxi number. (Up to an hour wait for a taxi)

Amazing Villa

We stayed for 10 nights in August and the Villa is beautiful. It was spotlessly clean and so much room for the 4 adults and 2 kids. The pool was big and more than enough sun loungers, the pool table got plenty of use too. Each room had air conditioning and was nicely furnished (beds were a little hard but difficult to please everyone). Location is excellent for both shops, bars & restaurants and the local beach. Driving is easy but we used Uber a few times as well. The hosts were excellent and we communicated before and during our stay. We would highly recommend and we look forward to staying again

Isabels Villa what a lovely villa ,the outside area especially. The inside of the villa Had lots of room. The furnishings were slightly dated but that did not really affect our holiday. The main Villa does not have air-conditioning only in the bedrooms. It’s about a five minute walk to the closest shop and definitely a taxi ride to the closest bars and restaurants. Overall we had a lovely stay very relaxing and just what the doctor ordered.

Close to shops but a little bit of a walk 15 mins to nearest restaurant and 25 minutes to nearest strip. Overall very good property and wonderful facilities, pool table and pool. Owner was fabulous and addressed an issue raised within a day. Very pleasant and responsive. A joy to stay there.
