Renoviertes Cottage mit großem Balkon und Blick auf den Fluss Neet

Mallard Cottage stammt aus der Mitte der 1830er Jahre. Ursprünglich war es eine Scheune, in der Boote restauriert, dann aber zu einem Cottage umgebaut wurden. Wir haben das Cottage Anfang 2012 gekauft, aber leider war es unsicher und der größte Teil des ursprünglichen Cottages musste nach modernen Standards umgebaut werden. Unser Ferienhaus liegt im Herzen von Bude am Ufer des Flusses Neet, nur 2 Gehminuten vom Strand und dem Kanal entfernt. Es hat eine eigene Zufahrtsstraße nach hinten mit einem Parkplatz für 2/3 Fahrzeuge und einem Balkon mit Blick auf den Fluss und die Burg. Große Terrasse im Erdgeschoss mit Palme.

Perfect Break

We booked this property at really short notice after seeing the great weather forecast! The owner was extremely helpful and called the night before to give clear check in instructions. The cottage was exactly as described and perfectly located for everything. Felt very at home in the cottage and loved siting out on the balcony. If dining out we highly recommend The Bank Tapas and Life's A Beach restaurant, both an easy walk from the house. Will definitely be back!

Excellent holiday property!

This lovely house is ideally situated in Bude, near enough to walk to local attractions, the beaches, etc, but not central enough to be noisy. It was spotlessly clean and had ample space to accommodate three of us (will actually sleep five). Everything you can think of was provided and the only thing I could think of to improve the property (and this is only a personal preference as I am a light sleeper) is blackout curtains. I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

First class stay in Bude

We stayed as a family of 5 plus dog in Marks beautiful property.The cottage was spotless clean and well decorated and the wrap around balcony was great in the evening for meals and people watching.The location is exceptional ,being only a few minutes walk to the town,, canal and beach.There was plenty of parking.Communication with Mark was great .Thank you

A wonderful central location

The cottage had a great position in central Bude and we loved being able to watch the comings and goings on the balcony. The clever upside down design gave some lovely nighttime views over the river. The property was clean and perfect for us as 3 adults and 2 little ones.

Great modernised cottage

Lovely unusual cottage

We have stayed in Mallard Cottage several times and it's a great place. It's well designed with a spacious, living area upstairs and a wrap around balcony with views across the river. The paved garden is lovely too. We happened to meet the owners this year are they were on holiday nearby. They are really friendly and do everything they can to help. Communication was excellent throughout the whole process. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and we felt confident that rigorous Covid-19 procedures were in place.

Great cottage in a great location

Fab cottage in the centre of town - we only used the car one day for a trip to Rock For breakfast at The Blue Tomato Cafe. Ideally located for walking and running on the beach, canal and coastal paths. Clean and safe and well presented. Very thoughtful owner and the welcome prosecco, tea and coffee was a lovely touch - definitely one to rebook!

Perfect location

The house is in a perfect location for everything that Bude has to offer Easy walk to the beaches , canal and cafes and restaurants The house is well equipped and plenty of room Weather was awful for our stay but I expect the wrap round decking is wonderful in the warmer weather Would certainly recommend and plan to return ourselves

Brilliant spot in an great seaside town!

Modern, light and airy, this property suited our multi-generation group to a 'T.' The balcony caught the sun all day and the patio was great to sit out. Private parking was handy and the spacious, wide-head showers were top notch! Would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting this great Cornish resort!
