Please ignore this review - this is clearly a malicious review. Firstly, the villa is exactly as it is in the photos, just look at Google Earth. You state that the property was not equipped for 10, this is absolutely correct, it is only intended to cater for a maximum of 8 adults and possibly two small children. You did not contact us to enquire whether the property would be suitable for your family before booking as most people do. Instead, you made an instant booking for 9 adults and one child in breach of the property regulations, which state that it “Sleeps 8 adults (and possibly small children on the sofa bed in the main suite)”. The property description clearly states that there are 4 bedrooms: there is a large double bed, a regular double bed, 2 x single beds and 2 x bunk beds, plus a double sofa bed in the main bedroom for younger children. I do not understand why anyone had to sleep on the floor (which I doubt is true) as this would be totally unnecessary. More to the point, if you were having problems, I do not understand why you did not call the property management company or me to ask for another bed as there are single zed beds available (as stated in the property description). What you say about the condition of the property is completely untrue. We have spent thousands of pounds maintaining it and we have contracts in place to maintain the villa, pool and garden. We have a weekly pool maintenance contract with Piscinas Jiminez, which is a reputable pool company on the Costa del Sol. The garden is also maintained on a weekly basis. We also have a property management company which cleans and repairs the property and we employ additional professionals, such as marble polishers and air-conditioning engineers, when necessary. If you had reported a problem we could have called any of them and they would have come to sort it out, whether the pool or the interior of the property. If you did encounter any problems, which we doubt is true, it is very strange that you did not report it. You have contact details and telephone numbers for two people at the management company, both Spanish and English nationals, and you also have my mobile phone number and email address. I clearly state that in the booking confirmation email that, if you have any problems, you should contact either Wendy, Sammy or me. However, you did not do this during, or even after, your stay so I conclude that there was no problem. You say that you ‘do not advise anyone to spend a few days there’ but you were quite happy to stay in the villa for the full duration of your booking without mentioning any problems to the management company or myself. You only paid £31.66 per person per night to stay in a £1m+ villa with panoramic sea views, private pool and garden in a prime location – this is amazingly good value! People should ignore this review, it is untrue and unfair.
