Our sincere apologies for the incorrect information on the website regarding the bathroom(s). This error is historical due to a mistake on Owner's Direct part which I had previously spoken to them about in the past. It has now finally been rectified and now reads correctly so thank you for bringing it to our attention. We are disappointed that you felt that the cottage was 'a lot smaller than advertised and that the kitchen was only big enough for one person". We have owned the cottage for 10 years and within that time no-one has ever commented that the cottage was smaller than expected. On the contrary we have had couples stay for two, three and four weeks at a time and we are regularly booked over Christmas and New Year when a full roast dinner is prepared and cooked. We have many couples who return every year and the comments in the Visitors Book are highly complimentary - 'kitchen well-equipped', 'the cottage has everything you could wish for and more','fantastic cosy cottage for two', 'a great place to come back to after a day out', 'a real home from home'. We also regularly review the market pricing for similar dwellings and we believe our prices are very competitive. Again we can only apologise that it did not reach your expectations but are pleased to read that you found the location delightful and that you loved being in this part of Yorkshire.

We are so pleased that you found the cottage cosy, comfortable and welcoming. Something we seek to achieve for all our guests. Thank you for recommending a small plug- in night light at the top of the stairs which avoids switching on a light if needing to descend the stairs during the night. This has now been done which will give future guests the choice.
