The cottage was lovely and clean, and very well equipped. The instructions from Gillian were clear and all communication excellent. We enjoyed the garden and the garden room in particular. The neighbours were friendly. It’s five mins from Bambrough so we also went to the beach in the early evening when it was empty, and had a lovely time.

Absolutely delightful cottage. The bed was extremely comfy and it had everything we needed. The conservatory and garden were a real bonus. I would definitely stay again! Highly recommended.

Great cottage in great location for Bamburgh, Lindisfarne, and Alnwick. The host, Gill, was very responsive in all communication we had with him. We would definitely stay again. Also, the paddock across the stream, although not associated with the cottage, had a great set of barnyard animals that were an added bonus!

We have just returned from a fabulous few days in this gorgeous cottage. The location was perfect for visiting all our favourite places in the local area and it was a lovely warm and cosy place to return to each night. The host, Gill,provided lot's of information prior to our stay and the cottage was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. I have already recommended this accommodation to friends and family,and would love to return in summer to enjoy the beautiful garden.

What a lovely place to stay, so relaxing, clean and comfortable! Very convenient to explore the lovely sites of Northumberland, we visited Bamburgh, Beadnell & Seahouses all are just down the road, ideal base for exploring, we loved relaxing in the conservatory and watching the animals in the paddock opposite, we loved the cottage and the area and would love to visit again

The cottage was in a most peaceful area Only complaint and this is not reflective of the property or owner, the next door neighbour was having work on the property over the last year, it would have been considered courteous of them if they had informed us on arrival that for 2.5 days of our holiday there were going to be workmen in , laying patio, cutting tiles, concrete mixer going and general noise from 8am to 5pm, we had to go out whether we wanted to or not, as staying in we could not enjoy the peace and quiet of the cottage and setting. As some who gets up at 6am every morning, for 3 mornings I was woken @ 8am by the workmen, I do understand that you can’t make an omelette without cracking eggs, but I feel that they were very inconsiderate not to inform me of the situation and noise Parking, cottage,cleanliness, fully equipped with everything we could possibly need was excellent, host Gillian was excellent in all communication

Great place and location

The cottage was great, directions were spot on. It was in a great area, located nicely between Bambugh and Alnwick. They provided us with some great recommendations to eat at and the conservatory was a great place to sit and enjoy the scenery.

Lovely cottage with all you need

Had 2 weeks at this cottage, located in a good area for exploring alot to do not very far away. Nice & clean with everything you need, good conservatory & garden area, we would stay again.

Beautiful cottage

A lovely setting overlooking the Waren Burn and fields beyond. A pretty garden for relaxing in the sunshine. The cottage is very comfortable with quality furniture and a well equipped kitchen. We had a wonderful holiday, Gill provided lots of good information about things to do and places to eat. We thoroughly recommend this cottage.

Loved our stay

A perfect stay at Millstone Cottage for my husband and me. Loved the conservatory. Cottage had everything we needed and instructions were very helpful.Great proximity to the coastal walks we wanted to do. Great to have ordinance maps of the area to use. The amazing weather helped.

Very warm and welcoming cottage. All home comforts provided.

Stayed for 3 nights over bank holiday weekend. Lovely cottage very comfortable. Outside space great and enjoyed looking at the wildlife. Good location for visiting Bamburgh and seahouses

Fabulous

Great cottage, great location. We stayed here in the Autumn which was nice but would love to stay here in Spring/Summer so we could make use of the lovely outdoor area over looking the small Waren Burn river.

Waren Mill

Had a very relaxing few days at this cottage, it is so peaceful & yet close to all tourist sites. The bottle of Prosecco on arrival was very nice. Excellent host, would definitely stay here again & would highly recommend.

Beautiful, and a lovely home from home, with everything you need while you're away. This was our first time in Northumberland for us, and we'll certainly hope to stay here again, possibly next year, to explore more of the area 😊
