Großartig!

Ein tolles Haus mit einer spektakulären Aussicht. Es thront über dem charmanten Dorf Rose, das über 380 Stufen zu erreichen ist. Das Fitnessprogramm gibt es somit gratis. An-, Abreise und Kontakt mit Vermieterin Jules klappte hervorragend. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft nur zu empfehlen.

Wonderful vacation-trip with friends

It has been a wonderful experience and we really enjoyed the house. The view is breath taking - every time of the day or night. The kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of space to move and sit for 8 people. We went there end/out of season (September/October) so most of the restaurants were shut down, but it gives the little village a special charme. We used rented cars which I would recommend in this area. The drive up to the house is a bit adventurous, but manageable. 1 sleep room is open and above the kitchen/living area. 1 bathroom is just a toilet and 2 bathrooms are en suite. Bring your own music boxes, because there is no digital entertainment program (one simple tv without connection to Netflix etc) and no radio. Wifi in general worked perfect. Some mattress were a bit worn out. The water comes from a tank - so we had to be efficient with the water (just one quick shower per day/ person) - we were always a bit afraid that we run out of water, which was not so comfortable. But in general we enjoyed the stay :)

Really great escape for the entire family

We really enjoyed our stay, Our host Jules fast really fast to answer any questions via WhatsApp and the communication was seamless. The view is just extraordinary- so is the entire house. We did go to Kotor, Budva and so other places - for sure you need a car :-)) Overall just a beautiful holiday.

Spektakuläre Aussicht!

Das Haus ist der Wahnsinn! Genial auf dem Berg gelegen. Der Blick auf die Bucht ist unglaublich! Um in die nahe Umgebung zu kommen muss man sich entweder mit dem Auto bewegen oder eine Treppe in den kleinen Ort Rose benutzen (rund 450 Treppen) in Rose gibt es wenige Restaurants, jedoch ist das Örtchen malerisch. Man kommt einfach mit Miki und seinem wassertaxi nach Herceg novi beziehungsweise kann man private Überfahrten in die Umgebung buchen. Zum Einkaufen muss man in den etwa halbe Stunde entfernten HDL oder voli Markt fahren. Alles in allem ein Haus zum abschalten! Ich würde es wieder buchen.

Ein wunderbares Haus

Das Haus ist wirklich der toll. Wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick an darin verliebt. Der Meerblick ist unbeschreiblich. Wir waren als Familie 9 Erwachsene und 1 Kleinkind für 9 Tage dort und haben es sehr genossen. Wer einen ruhigen Urlaub verbringen möchten, dem können wir das Haus nur empfehlen. Die Hausbesitzerin war sehr nett und jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Sollten wir wieder nach Montenegro fahren würden wir wieder das Haus buchen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub.

Modern villa with a stunning view

We stayed at the house with a group of 8 friends and the house was just perfect. It has a great view over the bay. You can walk down the hill to Rose (a very lovely little town) in only a few minutes. The living room/dining/kitchen area is very good equiped and perfect for 10 people. Very nice House with stunning view

We were two families with 4 Kids and 4 adults and we stayed for 2 weeks at Jules Villa. We arrived late in the evening and beside driving the "adventure streets" we found the house and everything was as discussed. The roof terrace is absolutely amazing and you have an perfect overview about the entrance of bay of Kotor. Herceg Novi with all it´s light in the night was welcoming us too. The bedrooms and bathes are all as described. The pool was always refreshing as the air temperature was nearly every day 35 °C+. The sea is also very nice to visit, down in Rose it is a Little bit more crowded than for example the near by submarine bunker. At the bunker you also have the possibility to jump in the water, the jump height is between 5 and 15 m, it´s up to you what you prefer :-) The way down to Rose is a Little bit tricky, of course you can go by car but if you like to go by feed you are forced to go steep lanes, especially the way back to the house than is challenging. If you like to by Food and so on the best place is unfortunately more than 30 minutes away by car. It´s just only 16 km but due to the bad streets it takes always more than 30 minutes to go to HDL Supermarket. The Adriatic Restaurant in Rose is serving good food but it is a Little more expensive than in Herceg Novi. We prefered for example the Stanica Sker Restaurant in Herceg Novi, it is directly located at the Harbour. You just need to take the Taxi boat from Rose to Herceg Novi, the Price is 4 € including return ticket. Jules was always very helpful as described very often in other Reviews and it was a pleasure for us to spend our Holidays at her house. We definitly recommend the house but we need to point out that discovering Montenegro from Lustica Island is very challenging due to the Long ways you need to go. A really beautiful place to stay

We spent two weeks at the villa and enjoyed every minute. Everything was wonderful. It's a really beautiful place to stay, the interior of the house is very tastful furnished, and generously spaced. The view is absolutly stunning. You really cannot wish for more! Jules was very friendly and accomodating and gave us hints and tips. We had a great time!

Most Beautiful!

We spent 2 weeks at the place and had the best time! The house is very spacious and has a gorgeous view across the bay of Kotor toward Herceg Novi by day and night through the glass front. The interior is modern and very clean with opportunities to have some privacy especially if you travel with friends as we did. Besides the terrace with a small pool there are 3 balconies for all times of the day and a huge roof terrace with a grill. Rose village is very close down the hill - about 10 min down and 15 - 20 min upwards as it is pretty steep, car is also possible though. Mirista / Zanice (pebble) beach is about 15 min by car, horizon beach (sand) approx 25 min. Rose itself is more a small harbour than a beach, opportunity to go by boat to Herzeg Novi for 4€ return fee with Micki's boat. Adriatic is a nice little restaurant at the harbor - inexpensive and good with friendly service (ask for fish meals). What to do at Lustica? Visiting the stunning cities of Kotor, Perast, Herzeg Novi, Budva and if you don't mind to travel 2.5 h to Dubrovnik - do that !! Sports? SUP or Windsurfing would be great but no one seems to offer rentals. Hiking, Mountainbiking, boating, fishing is ideal (trails are difficult to find w/o gps.). All in one sentence: most beautiful house we had, very calm and quiet in the nature of Lustica suited for 1-3 families with great opportunities to visit the area around Kotor, own car very recommended. Thanks a lot Jules and Bat for your friendly help and great support , everything was just perfect!

What an amazing Villa, with breathtaking views of Rose! The Villa is well equipped, they have thought of everything you might need for the perfect stay. The host Juliane was really helpful and quick to respond to any queries or questions we had before and during our stay. The Villa is ideally located above the village of Rose which has a couple of lovely restaurants and a great water taxi service to Herceg Novi. A car is definitely worth having in order to explore the area, but if you just want to relax we found the Villa was the perfect setting to enjoy an evening in!

The view! And the most beautiful village

Our host was excellent, helpful and informative. She was very personable and exceeded our expectations. The house was very suitable for our group of eight adults. It was definitely a challenge to walk up to the house, but it is still something that we will remember with a smile on our face in the future. Rose is one of the most charming villages we have been to and our experience of the place was good in all respects, three good restaurants and a small shop with the essentials. Our host put us in touch with the local captain Miki who took us on some unforgettable trips around the Bay of Kotor and his son on a trip into the Blue Cave, that trip stands out and we strongly recommend that people do not miss out on that trip .

The most beautiful view in Montenegro

An incredible house, with a breathtaking view on the Boka bay, The house is well-equipped, tastefully decorated, with high quality level of service. The charming nearby village of Rose is well worth a visit, with its quiet, family atmosphere, two beaches, two restaurants and a supermarket. A big thank you to Jules for her availability and her helpful advice. In a nutshell, we had an wonderful experience in Montenegro and our only regret is that it was too short.

Superbe villa sur les hauteurs de Rose

Séjour inoubliable ! La maison est superbe et bien équipée avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la baie à tous les étages. Depuis le petit port de Rose, accessible à pied, possibilité de visiter en bateau les principaux sites touristiques (Kotor, Perast, Notre Dame du Rocher, la grotte bleue...). Des bateaux navettes permettent également de rejoindre Herceg Novi. La propriétaire était accueillante et disponible. Tout était parfait. Nous avons adoré !

Beautiful property and very helpful host

We had a wonderful stay. The house is fabulous, even better than the photos with sunny and shaded terraces to use throughout the day. View from the house and especially the roof terrace is out of this world. The teenagers loved the space and fact that their rooms were on a separate floor. The village of rose is gorgeous with three restaurants, beaches and a small grocery shop. The 400+ steps were a slog but manageable and worth it. Our host jules was fantastic, warning us in advance that supermarkets were closed on the day we were arriving and facilitating an earlier check in. She was available throughout our stay too. This was by far the nicest place we stayed in Montenegro and I can’t recommend it highly enough

Fantastic Property with Great Views and Caring Host

This property is in a beautiful and unspoilt location but you can still get to most of Montenegro's key attractions within 45 mins to 2 hours. The property is well equipped and has stunning views over the bay of Kotor. Drivers need to be a bit brave to tackle the roads - although our drivers managed it fine! Jules was a delight to deal with and very accommodating.

Magnifique

La maison était parfaite ! La propriétaire est très gentille et nous avons pas mal discuté via whatsapp avant et pendant notre séjour :info sur la maison, les environs... et même un message le jour où il a fait plus froid pour nous dire de ne pas hésiter à prendre les couettes laissées dans les armoires. Nous avons eu du retard avec le vol mais aucun soucis, tout était organisé dans la maison. Celle ci était très propre, bien équipée et tellement belle et agréable. Une vue sur la mer et la baie exceptionnelle ! Les petites routes pour y arriver sont très étroites mais on s'y habitue. Bien située pour des balades, visiter le pays et profiter de la mer. Je recommande vivement !
