Amazing property and host!

This was our second time staying here and it was just as amazing second time round! The apartment is great - amazing pool, sea front access and beautiful views from the huge terrace. Michelle is a great host who goes above and beyond to look after guests - including picking us up at the airport, providing chilled beer, wine and food essentials on arrival and paddle boards/kayaks for us to use. Michelle and Matthew also took us on a wonderful boat trip around the bay. Thank you for another great stay!

We had the loveliest of stays at Michelles apartment. Can't recommend it enough. The fridge was full of basics on arrival which was extremely generous and useful. We enjoyed our afternoon out with her and Mathew of Foolish Behaviour immensely. Our Son enjoyed some sea front fishing and we all got to try our balancing skills on the paddle boards. Old town Kotor is an easy walk with many options for restaurants and we managed to visit a few of the local towns. You never know we might well head back there one day. The best host!

The position of the house is excellent, right on the water, and an easy 10 minute walk to the old city of Kotor. Michelle is the most welcoming and attentive host. She provided a generous amount of wine, beers and snacks on arrival, and was always on hand to give advice if needed. The boat ride in the bay, to the submarine pens was spectacular. One of the best properties that we have stayed in on our travels in Europe.

There are not enough superlatives to describe our fabulous holiday and our exceptional hosts Michelle and Matthew! Apartment is perfectly located with stunning views across the bay and is spotlessly clean and well stocked with very comfy beds. Michelle had thought of everything and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay including a well stocked fridge on arrival which was much appreciated . The highlight of our holiday was our trip out on Foolish Behaviour with Michelle and Matt (and Dean) around the bay with lunch and drinks and swimming and donut ries too! The most amazing birthday for me finished with cake and candles on board! We would thoroughly recommend this property but most of all the great hosts! Everything exceeded our expectations

It was our first time visiting Montenegro so we were a bit nervous. However those nerves were immediately gone as soon as we met Michelle the apartment owner. Michelle is very friendly, kind, helpful and very informative. Michelle and partner Matthew live close to the apartment which is very handy but they are not intrusive. They are by far the best hosts we have experienced on holiday.The apartment exceeded our expectations, extremely clean, well stocked cupboards, excellent air conditioning and the view is breathtaking. Great location with a small supermarket less than 10 minutes walk away which is very handy.

Amazing stay - 10 stars out of 5!!

We stayed at Michelle’s Kotor rental for a few days and what an amazing stay it was. The interior is so nicely appointed with plenty of space for a family, but what really takes it to the next level is the wonderful terrace and pool. Views of the bay and the old city, the ships sailing in and out of the port, and relaxing in the perfectly situated pool just made this literally the best VRBO we’ve ever had. Then to add amazement to amazement, Michelle included a sailing tour through the bay where we enjoyed swimming and the sights of Perast, Tovar, and more. Michelle is a wonderful host, going above and beyond any expectations, with a stocked fridge and snacks, guidance about the area, and just a warmth and hospitality that is unparalleled in my experience. I hope to be back many times!

Incredible place with an amazing host!

Everything was perfect, almost too good to be true. Michelle is such a gracious host and made our stay so easy. She communicated everything we needed for our arrival, met us and provided a fully stocked kitchen which kept us fed and entertained for the whole week. Will happily stay here again!

Great place

Great location, easy walk from the old town but with a view of Kotor, which is especially beautiful at night. The host is fantastic, with loads of local knowledge. The apartment has everything you could ask for, we particularly appreciated all the supplies that were provided on our first day. Can’t recommend this property enough.

Fabulous villa, host and location

Just come back from a great week in Montenegro. The villa was just as described and the location was perfect. Central for exploring Montenegro and the activities it offers. Kotor old town had numerous excellent restaurants and shops to mooch round and was only about 10-15mins walk from the accommodation. But the thing that stands out from other places we have stayed is the host, Michelle, her attention to detail and care she shows went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable holiday - thank you Michelle.

We were met by Michelle the owner with a huge smile and that smile remained throughout our stay. The accommodation is just lovely and the outside space was perfect, the kayaks and paddle boards being an added bonus. Wow, everything we expected but lots more

We’d read all the great reviews before booking so there was an expectation but both Michelle and her apartment definitely exceeded.Michelle gets everything spot on and really cares about ensuring people have the best experience. I particularly appreciated her contacting us a few weeks beforehand where we could get advice on some things we weren’t sure about. It’s reassuring that she is just upstairs if you need her but at the same time she manages to be invisible so you can relax and enjoy yourself.I tend to rate an apartment on how good the showers are (odd but seems to work) and in this case its 10 out of 10, everything works perfectly and the little touches Michelle has added makes it feel very homely.The outside space is larger than the pictures show and my lasting memory will be sitting on the sofa with either a cup of tea or a beer, looking out to the bay and just simply thinking how lucky we were be here.

Wow! Please do not hesitate in booking this property. Michelle, the host, is one amazing lady. Her attention to detail and wanting to please and leave a lasting impression on guests is second to none. Communication from the time of booking was fantastic. The property itself is in an amazing location, just a short, flat walk into the beautiful old town of Kotor where there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. There's a couple of supermarkets also within a short distance. The property is tastefully decorated and very spacious. The air conditioning is a godsend! The kitchen is well equipped and the showers are great. The pool is very welcomed in the heat and has numerous sunbeds. There are two very comfortable seating areas outside and a BBQ is provided. Privacy is not to be worried about and the outside balcony has wonderful views. The only downside to this property is that we had to leave it and come home!!! Michelle you are a wonderful host! In fact the best! We would 100% book again. You definitely get value for your money with this one!

Absolutely fantastic stay!

Michelle was the most amazing host (she literally thinks of everything) and her house felt like home away from home. But better! The views are breathtaking, the pool is lovely, the whole apartment and setting are just amazing. We had the best time and managed to walk to Kotor Old Town which is also stunning and has such a great variety of restaurants and shops. 10/10 would recommend and will book again!

We had a great time in this lovely appartment with a large terrace and its own swimming pool, right in front of the sea. Location is perfect in a calm spot for swimming and only 10/15 min walking distance to Kotor old city. And above all, Michelle was the best host I ever had!

Fabulous find

Travelled to Montenegro as part of my sisters birthday celebrations. Michelle the host of this property took hospitality to a new level, such a warm, generous person who put the comfort of her guests front and centre. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The accommodation is absolutely spotless and so so lovely. The pictures don’t do it justice. We used the paddle boards and kayaks every day, they were just fab! Michi went over and above for us leaving us some snacks and essentials and checking in to ensure we were happy with everything and was always there to offer advice. Breathtaking views and unforgettable experience.

My husband and I have stayed at several VRBO locations throughout the years and this one absolutely tops the list! Waking up each morning to the amazing view and enjoying a cup of coffee on the private terrace was such a treat. To top it off, Michelle is such a warm and gracious host. Beautiful Stay Near Kotor

Michelle’s apartment is in a beautiful location just a short walk from Kotor old town. Michelle greeted us at the door after giving very clear instructions on how to get there and where to park. The apartment was amazing, clean, spacious and full of everything we needed and more. The pool is just outside the door and the sea just down the steps. The home is very well stocked and packed with extras to make you feel welcome and at home. Michelle gave us plenty of advice and help to make our trip unforgettable. We would never stay anywhere else when we come again. The best VRBO we have ever stayed in.

Gorgeous property

Michelle’s flat was amazing. It was well laid out, clean, had everything that we needed, and has an incredible view. The walk to Old Town Kotor was a quick 10-15 minutes depending on your pace. The location was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the port. Perfect! Michelle was responsive, super friendly, and fun. We will definitely be back.
