We stayed for 1 week from 27 June 26, 6 adults, 2 toddlers and a baby. The villa is gorgeous and there was lots of room for us all. Very clean and the pool was amazing. We walked to Intermarche a couple of times and got a taxi back, they sell everything you need when self catering. We walked into Carvoeiro most nights and found lots of nice restaurants. We all had a great time and would highly recommend the villa.

Lovely villa, exactly as described. Well equipped and maintained. Great location, just 10 minutes from the sea front. Pool was perfect. We paid for the pool to be heated and for the air-conditioning which I would recommend. Would definitely recommend (party of 5 adults).

The was well equipped, but the aircon in the downstairs bedroom had no remote.not enough towels, only one for each person, no pool towels we would expect for the price.Overall good, host let us in early.

We had the best time staying at Casa Dragao, accomodation was perfect for our group of 7 adults, well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge area and pool area was brilliant for day time relaxing. 15 minute walk down to Carvoeiro beach and all the bars and restaurants. We would definitely come again.

We enjoyed our recent stay at the villa. It was clean and had a great layout. Pool is a great size with plenty of sunbeds available. The tv is quite small and aging so took a while to turn on but plenty of Uk channels to choose from. 15 min walk down to the bars and restaurants, it is quite a steep hill to walk back up so maybe not ideal if you have elderly relatives. Saying that, it’s so easy to get an uber back for 3-4 euros if you are carrying shopping or don’t want to walk after dark. Also Ubers are a great way of seeing nearby resorts so you don’t really need a car. Really enjoyed the stay and would book again. The only thing we didn’t like is that there is only one way in to the villa, through the front. This means that when the pool people came out to look at the pool, they had to walk through the villa. This normally wouldn’t bother us but they came in once early before 8.30 so we were still in bed. We didn’t even know they had been in until we saw the inflatables had been taken out of the pool! It made us feel a bit uncomfortable knowing someone was in when we were asleep so I suggest they should always ring the bell.

However, I am sorry the pool man came early one morning. Their normal hours are between 10am and 4pm and they always ring the door bell which can be heard outside. Great Place

We had 5 adults stay here and we loved it, location was great only 10/15 min walk to local bars and restaurants. A very nice quiet area with a beautiful heated pool to relax in. We would definitely stay again, thanks.

What a brilliant villa!!!! It was clean, well equipped for all that we needed and brilliant for our children (4 and 6). We found the location to be perfect, it is out of Carvoeiro to feel quiet but close enough to be able to walk in with an excellent bakery and also a Supermarket nearby. It was a perfect weeks stay!

Perfect property for a golf holiday

We loved our stay here. The villa was clean and had all the amenities we needed as a comfy base for our family holiday. Great location too - easy to get to by car. Supermarkets nearby, the bakery is walking distance and became a favourite. Not too far to walk to bars and restaurants too. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay thank you Patricia! The villa was lovely, very spacious and comfortable, the heated pool was a great addition and the pool area got the sun practically all day. The walk back up from the town centre is quite steep but was fine for me and my partner taking us around 15-20 mins, there were plenty of taxis / Uber availability though. Thanks again!

Great place to stay in Carvoeiro

Spent four days in the area. Good location to explore surrounding cities. The house was wonderful. Plenty of room for 7 people. Very clean and comfy. The heated pool was awesome being we were there in late November. Would definitely cime back.

Fabulous holiday in Fabulous Villa

We had a fabulous holiday in Casa Drago. The villa was spacious, very clean, and well laid out with everything that we needed. The pool was ideal for the whole family and we really benefited from getting it heated before we arrived. We would definitely recommend to anyone, and will definitely be returning in the future.

Brilliant stay in lovely villa!

We had a great stay in this spacious villa in lovely Carvoeiro. The pool and dining area were really nice. We travelled a group aged 2-70 (!) years old and all of us enjoyed the stay 100%. Hope to come back some day in the future! Cheers from Stockholm, Sweden!

Hi, our names are Patricia and Keith and we live in a broadland village in Norfolk. We have two daughters, Louisa and Hayley and four grandchildren - Florence, Leo, Oscar and Joseph.

We had spent many happy holidays in the Algarve before we bought Casa Dragao.

It took 18 months researching the area to find the perfect villa in the ideal location. It has everything! Walking distance to the bars, restaurants, beaches, shops etc. In a quiet cul de sac with it's own heated pool (which was re tiled and refurbished in 2023) with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (including the ensuite).

We did not want a property on a complex with shared pool - we wanted something individual.

We bought Casa Dragao in November 2008. Over the years we have totally refurbished the property and heated pool, adding an en suite bathroom to the master bedroom, installing air conditioning and adding special touches to the decor and furnishings.

I hope you will agree that the end result is very functional, stylist, friendly and homely - we love it!

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

We have tried to think of everything you may need to make your holiday as comfortable and stress-free as possible. The villa is very well equipped from modern kitchen appliances and a TV with all UK channels to an ironing board and scrabble! As Casa Dragao is especially suitable for families, there is are 2 travel cots, high chair, 2 stair gates (no need to keep moving the stair gate up and down the stairs!) and a blender. For the adults, we have recently purchased an additional larder fridge in the kitchen to keep drinks cold. There is also a large cool bag for those trips to the beach!

We think Casa Dragao ticks all the boxes and is ideal for two families. It offers a lot of space, excellent facilities and nearby amenities at a reasonable cost.

The accommodation is very flexible. We have had bookings from families, couples, people getting married in the Algarve, and also honeymooners!
