Diese herrliche freistehende Villa mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 3 Bädern mit eigenem Pool überblickt die Bucht von Kalkan und liegt am Ende einer ruhigen Sackgasse in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums. Eine Autovermietung oder ein Taxi sind daher nicht erforderlich.
Das Anwesen wird makellos sauber gehalten, verfügt über eine Klimaanlage und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was für einen gelungenen Selbstversorger-Urlaub in einer Villa erforderlich ist, einschließlich Extras wie:

Wenn Sie schon einmal in der Türkei waren, werden Sie froh sein zu wissen, dass alle WCs dem britischen Standard entsprechen. Sie müssen hier also kein benutztes Toilettenpapier in separate Mülleimer legen, um es später zu entsorgen.
Eine weitere Besonderheit ist die große Holzterrasse, die direkt von der Küche abfährt und sich perfekt für Mahlzeiten im Freien eignet!
Der private Pool hat eine anständige Größe und ist mit Unterwasser-LED-Beleuchtung ausgestattet, damit die Gäste den Pool an warmen Sommerabenden nutzen können. Der Pool kann von der Küchenterrasse im ersten Stock (über eine Außenspindeltreppe) oder direkt von den beiden Schlafzimmern im Erdgeschoss aus betreten werden.
Die großzügige Aufteilung der Villa bietet viele separate Bereiche, um sich auszubreiten, sei es zum Sonnenbaden am Pool, zum ruhigen Lesen auf einem der Balkone oder zum Mittagessen auf der Dachterrasse, um den Panoramablick über die Bucht von Kalkan und die umliegenden Ausläufer zu genießen des Taurusgebirges.

Beautiful Villa

A home from home. Well maintained, with privacy from surrounding properties. Matt the property manager was on hand should we have any queries, very helpful. The pool was lovely and we especially enjoyed drinks on the roof top terrace at night time with the stunning lights of Kalkan to look at.

Great Villa in beautiful Kalkan town

We had a great time at Villa Abri. Pool area & furniture was lovely. Well equipped & beautiful views. Matt was very friendly & a great help when we needed more water and when I had to call him in the middle of the night to help me open the safe! Kalkan is a lovely town, great restaurants & lots to do. Easy to get taxis. Highly recommend beach clubs Zest and Villa Mahal for a lovely experience.

Great holiday

Good villa, very clean and well provisioned. Matt the manager was amazing and so helpful. Pool very cold but still enjoyable. Location good right near the market and shops. Supermarket is walkable and Old Town is only 15 min walk down hill. Only downside is being woken up at 6.20am every morning by the call to prayer from the local mosque

Excellent Stay

Everything in the Villa was great and it was the perfect place to spend a week. Matt who looks after the property was very helpful and accomodating and saw to everything we needed. The owners Scott and Sarah were great and all the communications with them were accurate and clear. An extra star needs to go to the owners as Scott even gave us a follow up call to ensure that we enjoy ourselves and to check if there were any issues.

Friends holiday

Our weeks stay at the villa was fabulous ,the villa was clean and well equipped, the pool was cleaned morning and evening, the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The supermarket and weekily market was just round the corner from the villa ,it was a 10 min walk down hill into the town .we throughly enjoyed our stay .The manager was on hand 24 hrs a day .

Well appointed, very comfortable villa

Everything about booking this villa was made very easy by the owner Scott. Very clear information sent via email of the Villa handbook. Matt the Villa manager was there to greet us and was very helpful during our stay sorting out any little problems and booking beach clubs ensuring we got good sun beds! Villa very comfortable and extremely well equipped. It was in easy walking distance of Migros supermarket and can walk into town in about 10 minutes (usually resorted to a taxi on way back due to the hill after a few cocktails!). A great relaxing holiday and would recommend this Villa to anyone wishing to visit Kalkan. Nicky

Spacious and lovely Villa with a good sized pool

Stayed at Villa Abri for a week. Efficient Communication from the owners Sarah & Scott since booking till arrival. Lovely welcome pack of essentials e.g. eggs, bread, milk, cereal etc was a nice touch. Matt the villa manager who lives just was also very helpful and very responsive whenever we have questions or need help with anything. Villa was lovely with a good sized pool, lots of space with good facilities. You can see a beautiful view of the harbour from The living room and even nicer view from the roof top. Villa location is good and about 15mins walk down to the main part of town towards the harbour and can get a taxi back for 200TL if too much walking uphill - we did walk back a few times. Overall really enjoy our stay :-)

Fabulous villa

Five star holiday villa. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The villa was spotless when we arrived and there was a lovely touch of a welcome basket of essential’s waiting for us. Special mention for Matt who was on hand to sort any little snags (for example when we couldn’t work out how to turn the air conditioning on) and help arrange a couple of day trips. The beds were really comfy and the pool was amazing.The kitchen has everything you need, including a coffee machine and a water cooler. The villa is set above the main town and it’s an easy 10 minute walk to the centre, the walk back up the hill is hard work but there’s plenty of taxis at reasonable prices to help. Kalkan is a pretty, buzzing little town with lots of restaurants and shops and there are good supermarkets, bars and restaurants just around the corner. Overall we couldn’t fault Villa Abri and would recommend it to everyone.

Great villa - fab location

The villa was great in Kalkan - perfect location - not too far from everything and amazing views. The villa was immaculate with really comfy beds. The host had left a welcome pack for us which was great as our flight was delayed and a morning coffee was required! The outside areas are fab - really comfy sunbeds and sofa area around the pool and great table outside the kitchen area and lovely roof terrace. The weather was mixed while we were there but we could still sit outside even when it was raining as some areas are under cover. Please note the small single bedroom is on the ground floor and the 2 larger doubles are downstairs - was fine for us as our kids are older (teens) but I dont think I would have wanted a small child upstairs on their own while I was downstairs. The stairs are also steep in the villa so be careful if you have small children or people with mobility issues. I would definitely recommend this villa if you want plenty space with comfy facilities and accessible into town.

Fantastic villa, great location

Villa Abri is a lovely villa with everything you need during your stay; a well equipped kitchen, a welcome basket and milk, juice, bread, butter etc when you arrive, 6 sun loungers so you can choose sun or shade. The location is excellent, it is a 2 minute walk from supermarkets, the Thursday market and many cafes and restaurants. Another 5 minutes downhill and you are into the old town and harbour. A taxi back up is recommended but is only around £3, and worth every penny. The selection of balconies and roof terrace spaces means that you can be together or have a bit of peace with a book by yourself! Speaking of books, there is a well stocked bookcase with books to borrow and/swap. Matt, the property manager is very friendly and helpful, and only lives next door, so is on hand if you need him for anything. My only word of caution is for anyone who might struggle with stairs. There are a lot of them! Bedrooms downstairs, plus one single on the first floor along with the living and kitchen, then a utility with access to the roof terrace. Access to the pool is via the bedrooms or a spiral staircase outside from the kitchen. My smart watch thinks I’ve started a new exercise regimen! Forgot to say that there are also beach towels and Turkish towels provided, so no need to bring them!

You're right, on-site parking would be nice to have, but the absence of cars driving past the villa does bring peace to the street. Thankfully, the short access road does allow for easy drop-offs in front of the villa, and there is ample parking available just a 20 metres walk away, for those with their own car. Traumhafter Urlaub

Nach dieser Corona Zeit waren wir sehr sehr glücklich wieder mal in die Türkei zu reisen da das unsere zweite Heimat ist und wir waren sehr sehr angenehm überrascht, es war hervorragend und genau so wie es beschrieben war. We had a 1 week stay at the Villa in sept 2022. Overall we had a very good holiday and an excellent stay at the villa. The accommodation was really well equipped, on two living levels with a large roof terrace. Perfect for two couples (additional small single bedroom). A/C was modern and worked well. Property manager lives nearby and was most pleasant and helpful. Note the poolhas no shallow end but no problem for adults/ok swimmers. Pool cleaned every morning early. Owner followed up personally. No hesitation recommending the villa!

Lovely apartment

A very spacious and beautifully equipped apartment in central kalkan, a 10 minute walk to the harbour and very close to Migros the local supermarket. Lots of space and very clean. Matt the manager was always at hand to help with any questions and very friendly owners. Thank you very much.

Great villa

We had a lovely stay in Villa Abri in Kalkan. Scott, the villa owner, was very helpful before our stay and Matt, the manager, was great and gave us some great recommendations. The villa is well equipped and has everything you need for a great stay. The pool is lovely and cleaned regularly. The villa is in a great position with lovely views. It is very close to Migros and the weekly market. It is near enough to the centre of Kalkan to be able to walk in and back. Taxis are cheap and plentiful if you don’t want to walk. The villa is in a safe and quiet area. We really did have a lovely relaxing holiday and would definitely stay at Villa Abri again!

Super Villa

As first time visitors to Kalkan we got of to a good start thanks to the quality of the villa. Plenty of space across numerous floors all in top condition and spotless. All important air conditioning was much appreciated as was the larger than normal pool considering the central location. The views are also amazing, especially from the top floor which also is where the BBQ is with its own kitchen! Communication with the owners was excellent as was the well presented notes in the villa info book. Matt the caretaker lives opposite and was always available for recommendations and any assistance needed. We did not have. car and we’re happy to take on the 10-15 minute walk to and from the centre of town/harbour (despite the steep hills on the way home) and found some exceptional roof top restaurants and bars. Kalkan is definitely now on our agenda for future visits and we would thoroughly recommend both this villa and the location.

Great property and location for Kalkan

Just an early season 1 week stay but as the villa was so well maintained and equipped we lost no time relaxing. Great views from the villa of the town, harbour and mountain backdrop, especially from the large rooftop area. The top floor had laundry facilities and a fridge as well. Next time we'll share with more family to make the most of it!

When buying any property everyone knows its all about location, location, location! Back in 2002 we were lucky enough to still be able to buy a plot of land within close walking distance to Kalkan's main shops, restaurants etc. and yet still be relatively secluded with good sea views.

One of the main benefits of building your own villa is that it allows you to design the property to suit your priorities. For us that meant the general layout had to be spacious, with numerous balconies and terraces to let people spread out and enjoy the sun. Also important, for any holiday home, it had to have a decent size swimming pool!!
In addition, as we wanted people to come and share the villa with us, each bedroom had to have its own bathroom.
With those design essentials taken care of the rest was down to equipping and furnishing the villa to a quality standard that we would want for ourselves.
We are now in our 10th season renting the villa out and it's a real added bonus when paying guests tell us how much they have also enjoyed staying at our wonderful Villa Abri!!
