Vacation in Albufeira

We had a very nice time in Albufeira. It was during easter time und very calm and quiet. The location of the apartment is very nice see view, sun and sea. Good place for having some nice walks. The apartment is very clean an cosy and is enough for pairs and family. The contact with Paula was very nice and easy. Her response time was pretty quick too. Overall a great place to recharge and enjoy Portugal.

Einfach herrlich

Moin, die Unterkunft selbst ist einfach herrlich und fĂŒr bis zu 4 Personen geeignet. Wir waren zu zweit vor Ort und haben tĂ€glich auf dem Balkon gefrĂŒhstĂŒckt. Auch die KĂŒche haben wir gern fĂŒr die Zubereitung eines Abendessens genutzt. Die schnelle Internet Verbindung haben wir an einem Regentag fĂŒr ein streaming verwendet. Alles in der Wohnung macht einen sehr neuen Eindruck und ist blitzsauber. So macht Urlaub Spaß. Ach ja, der Strand ist zu Fuß in 5 min erreichbar.

Schöne Wohnung mit Blick auf das Meer

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr komfortabel. Restaurants, CafĂ©s und Bars sind ebenso wie Badebuchten fußlĂ€ufig zu erreichen. Uns hat die Woche hier sehr gut gefallen.

This recently refurbished first floor apartment was excellent, very tastefully furnished and exceptionally clean. The modern kitchen and bathroom were of a high standard with new appliances. The beds, chairs, couch, and balcony furniture were all very comfortable and a cut above the usual standard. An exceptionally nice apartment that we would happily return to. A car is a must for getting to shops etc. There is a guaranteed parking spot within a few metres of the apartment.

Let's start with the good stuff. Communication with Paula was way beyond 5 stars. Wife and I are not party animals so we loved the location. It was quiet, well-located with a great floor plan and amenities. Never thought of hiking as a vacation option, but plenty of places to explore on the edge of the ocean. And Pria dos Arrifes is a short walk also. We are both early risers and the electric shutters kept so much of the sun out that we both slept until nearly 9:00 AM every day. (Wish I could do that at home)! We did have a rental car which made everything super easy (shopping, parking near the Marina and then walking to Old Town, beaches that are a little too far to walk). But I could see that a car may not be a needed by everyone. Having a dedicated parking spot was a big plus. It was not a deal breaker but we did find going to the nearby restaurant to swim a minor inconvenience. We would have preferred a bit more privacy. There were some days of the week when the crowd was minimal. Again, the pool was not a deal breaker as we had other options. (Back to the car rental again...a nicety NOT a necessity). If I were forced to list one negative it would be the size of the bathroom. It was very clean and ultra-modern. But (other than the shower) was definitely geared for one person at a time. Would not stop us from a return visit and we are already planning 2026 where this condo is at the top of the rental list. Once again...obrigado to Paula!

Lovely apartment, but . . .

First off, this is a lovely apartment. And the view is epic. The apartment is spotlessly clean, has brand new appliances and most essentials for the kitchen. What would have made it better: 1. Detailed instructions for finding the rental. Even the local drivers didn't understand how to get there with the address given. We finally started giving the address of the restaurant out the back gate and down the street and meeting them there. 2. Directions for using appliances and the TV system. They were very different from what we were used to and made the first few days very challenging. Paula, the manager, was lovely to work with - I would just think providing basic information would result in a more satisfying experience.

Great stay!

We had a fantastic 2 week holiday stay in Albufeira. Paula was very helpful at check in with a few queries that we had. The apartment was in a great location, close to the Marina and beaches. It is in a quiet area and very peaceful. We enjoyed long walks in the surrounding area. Everything was as we expected in the apartment. It was immaculately clean and nicely decorated. Ideal place near Albufeira

We loved the location, fairly quiet and a great view from the balcony. Bed very comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Nice to be able to use the pool facility and the cafe/bar. Lovely coves near by.

Wonderful accommodation in lovely area and superb host.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is extremely clean and well equipped. There is a pool with restaurant on site and the beach is approx 10-15 minute walk. The Marina is close by (15-20 minute walk) and has a range of restaurants, a small football pitch and Arcade. You can also book trips from there. Taxis are cheap from property to Marina at 5 Euros. The host is very helpful and responsive to messages which we found reassuring. She even arranged our Airport transfer with Roger who we found to be extremely helpful also. We would highly recommend this property.

The apartment is very cute and was perfect for our family of 3. My son enjoyed having upstairs room to himself. You definitely need a car to move around. The communication with host was excellent and super easy.

Wonderful Stay

What a hidden gem. Paula's property did not disappoint, exactly as advised. Really modern with everything inside looking brand new. Paula was an amazing host who replied to any queries promptly and efficiently. The area was extremely peaceful at night time which meant a restful sleep. Albuferia marina was roughly a 20 min walk away but a little longer on the return due to it begin uphill. The pool was quiet and always manged to get sun loungers. The poolside cafe/bar did excellent food and was very reasonably priced. We visited the nearby town of Silves which was beautiful as well as Villamoura and Gale. The beach at Praia da Luz was worth a visit as there wasn't any seaweed as some of the other local ones. The restaurant A Sardinha was stunning right on the beach. Food excellent albeit a little pricey. We also went to Margem Sul where the food was excellent however we did have to wait 1.5hrs to be served. Altogether, a wonderful trip and couldn't recommend Paula's apartment if you want a quiet peace of Portugal. Thank you.

Good base and well-appointed property

Lovely clean, light and airy apartment with decent beds and a fully equipped kitchen where the coffee and tea making supplies were appreciated. Reasonable 0.5 mile walk to the nearest beach (Arrifes) which is beautiful but we preferred the Sao Rafael beach which was approximately a mile walk or very short drive away with good parking. The pool area and cafe bar were very nice and the food was good especially the Arroz de Tamboril. As a host Paula was quick to respond to any messages but we had no real reason to contact her after check in as everything was more than satisfactory. Highly recommend Restaurante Dom Dinis if you're looking for a higher standard of dining but would avoid A Sardinha as rather overpriced although admittedly this was due to the location.

Lovely relaxing time

My wife and I loved our stay there amidst the lovely trails and cliffs of Praia dos Arrifes. Close enough to Albufeira that we could walk into the Marina or Old town when we wanted, or a short ride for an evening dinner. Paula was a great host, very responsive and helpful.

The apartment was exactly as describe, very modern, the style I like, we were within walking distance from old town or a few dollar Uber ride, there were 2 beach restaurants near by within a few minute walk albeit a little hilly but we enjoyed the walk. The area itself was very quiet although there were a few barking dogs in the morning but in the evening it was peace and quiet. There were some small disturbances out at sea the week we were there which made for some great pics as the waves came crashing in. As for our host Paula , she was great at communicating with anything we needed, all thumbs up !!
