Das Haus ist in zwei separate UnterkĂŒnfte aufgeteilt. Die Einstiegsunterkunft im Garten verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine eigene offene KĂŒche (mit GeschirrspĂŒler, KĂŒhl- / Gefrierkombination, Herd, Toaster, Wasserkocher und Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle), ein Wohnzimmer, einen Essbereich mit Dusche, WC und 2 Doppelschlafzimmer sowie eine eigene Waschmaschine und Trockner. Es ist voll zentral beheizt und mit einem Kamin ausgestattet, so dass es auch fĂŒr Buchungen außerhalb der Saison geeignet ist. Es gibt auch zwei separate Terrassen mit Sitzbereichen. Der Pool ist ĂŒber eine kleine BrĂŒcke ĂŒber das Wasser am unteren Rand des Gartens zugĂ€nglich.

Die oberen beiden Stockwerke bieten Platz fĂŒr 8 Personen mit insgesamt 4 Doppelzimmern. Eines davon richtet sich speziell an Kinder, da Spiele, BĂŒcher und RĂ€tsel zur VerfĂŒgung stehen. Es gibt zwei Badezimmer; Eines mit Whirlpool und Regendusche, das andere ist ein Duschraum. Die oberen 2 Ebenen des Hauses sind ebenfalls offen gestaltet und im dritten Stock befindet sich ein Zwischengeschoss. Es gibt zwei Sitzecken und ein Esszimmer. Die KĂŒche verfĂŒgt ĂŒber einen großen amerikanischen LG-KĂŒhlschrank mit Eis- und Wasserspender, einen großen Falcon-Herd (2 Backöfen, Grill und 6 Gasflammen), einen Toaster, eine industrielle Mikrowelle und eine Tassimo-Kaffeemaschine sowie einen separaten GetrĂ€nkekĂŒhlschrank. Es gibt auch im Untergeschoss separate WĂ€schemöglichkeiten mit Waschmaschine, Trockner und KĂŒhlschrank. Draußen gibt es 3 separate Terrassen, von denen zwei ĂŒberdacht sind und eine zusĂ€tzlich zur Poolumgebung geöffnet ist. Ein Teil der offenen Terrasse verfĂŒgt neben einem Sitzbereich ĂŒber einen eingebauten Steingrill / Kamin. Wenn Sie einen herkömmlichen Grill bevorzugen, haben wir einen temperaturgeregelten Weber.

Die Anlage eignet sich gut fĂŒr große Familien oder getrennte Paare, da es viele Orte zum Entspannen gibt. Der Pool ist 9 x 5 m groß und verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine Solarabdeckung zum Heizen. Rund um den Pool stehen 8 Liegen, Tische und StĂŒhle fĂŒr 12 oder mehr Personen zur VerfĂŒgung. Es gibt eine große Tischtennisplatte und ein Federballnetz mit SchlĂ€gern und einer HĂ€ngematte fĂŒr den Fall, dass die Konkurrenz zu viel wird. Nachts trĂ€gt die Außenbeleuchtung rund um den Poolbereich wesentlich zum Genuss der SommernĂ€chte bei.

Blissful week

With a beautiful location, comfortable and brilliantly equipped house and such warm and welcoming hosts in Sam and Al, we couldn't have asked for more. We had a blissful week of sun and swimming as well as exploring the area but there's so much to do that I'm sure we'll be back. Highly recommended!

Wonderful holiday in Dordogne/Lot region

Perfect relaxing summer holiday for our family of five. The villa, gardens and pool were even more stunning than the photos, with many beautiful seating areas. Sam was a very helpful host. The location was excellent for outdoors and adventurous families, and we enjoyed their electric bikes. Picturesque towns and smart restaurants were nearby. Would highly recommend!

family summer holiday

We had a great time staying at this property in Sauveterre La Lemance. The house is lovely and very well equipped. The outside space is amazing and extends far beyond what the photos show. The pool is a good size but not too deep which made it perfect for our young daughters. Our hosts Sam and Alun were incredibly helpful and on hand to help with any additional requests.

Superbe bñtisse au cƓur du Perigord

Maison typique du PĂ©rigord, l’endroit est spacieux et confortable au calme dans la forĂȘt sans aucun bruit ! Sam qui habite sous la maison est trĂšs disponible et toujours Ă  l’écoute ! Literie excellente, serviette de toilette digne d’un hĂŽtel 5*, salle de bain spacieuse et agrĂ©ables, plusieurs terrasses et endroits pour prendre le petit dĂ©jeuner, le midi ou l’apĂ©ro selon les envies ! Nous Ă©tions avec des enfants de 8 mois, 15 mois, 3 ans et 4 ans et cela a Ă©tĂ© parfait ! Le petit cours d’eau qui passe donne un esprit bucolique et la piscine chauffĂ©e ou tout le monde (ou presque sauf enfant de 3 ans ) avait pied Ă©tait gĂ©nial ! Sam nous a mis Ă  dispo boules de pĂ©tanques, canne Ă  pĂȘche etc
 La maison est Ă  la sortie du village, une boulangerie boucherie pharmacie sont donc Ă  proximitĂ©, pour le reste il faut rouler un petit peu mais rien de dĂ©rangeant ! Il manquerait juste un peu plus de vaisselle verre et couvert pour que tout soit parfait ! Nous y reviendrons sĂ»rement car c’était vraiment une superbe semaine entre amis ! Superbe séjour entre amis

Nous avons passé une super semaine entre amis, la propriété est magnifique, le trÚs grand jardin avec piscine et zones ombragées, les transats, les poufs nous ont enchantés chaque jour !! . Les chambres sont trÚs belles et bien isolées. Les piÚces de vie sont trÚs chouettes et bien décorées. Rien ne manque pour passer une semaine magique! Sam est en plus trÚs disponible et sympathique . On recommande vivement ce petit paradis !

If you're thinking about staying here, just do it!

This home and setting were perfect for our family reunion. The weather was very hot when we arrived, so the pool was welcome relief, and the house was set up perfectly so that everyone in our extended family had space and privacy. Sam was a perfect host, and had thought of everything. She was available at all times, but was very discreet about leaving us to enjoy our family time together. If we could have stayed longer, we'd still be there.

Highly recommend this property!!

Loved so many things: the decor, the spacious pool/yard, the choice of indoor & outdoor dining tables, the sitting area by the kitchen so you can socialize while you're cooking, the friendly helpful management, the walking path across the street to take morning walks through the woods, and the peaceful surroundings!! It was exactly what I needed and highly recommend it :)

Stunning house in stunning setting!

This wonderful house was just perfect for our 40th wedding anniversary celebration with our 3 sons, their wives and our 3 grandchildren (two teenagers and a 3 year old.) i.e. 10 adults in total. Las Laubios is beautifully situated in an extremely tranquil area yet only 1 mile away from the village of Sauveterre La Lemance. The setting of the house, overlooking gardens , a large pond and the pool, is stunning., This large old property has plenty of character, being built of local stone, and has been modernised throughout. It is the home of the owners, Sam and Alun, who made us most welcome and they could not have been more helpful throughout our stay. Our teenagers were very happy to occupy the 2 bedroom apartment at the lower level where they were completely self contained with their own well equipped kitchen, bathroom and lounge. The main house, on the two upper floors, is also very well equipped with everything a large group would want. We had several big dinner parties and the kitchen facilities were more than adequate. Similarly the laundry facilities on the lower floor coped with all our needs. Being a large group we made good use of the extensive grounds where there is shade and plenty of space for ball games etc. . Everyone really enjoyed the swimming pool which is a good size, regularly maintained by the owners, and the thermal cover maintained the heat very effectively. As we had a toddler with us the pool alarm was very reassuring. Breakfast on the large south facing balcony was an excellent start to the day and there are numerous other locations around the house and in the garden where there are tables and chairs for dining or just relaxing, including a gazebo which overlooks the pool. With temperatures in the 30’s (August) we made good use of the loungers in the garden and around the pool. This is an excellent location for sightseeing and there is plenty to see and do without travelling too far. We brought bikes with us and much enjoyed cycling along the quiet roads. The early morning ride to the village baker was a popular trip.

The perfect family getaway

Las Laubios is the perfect getaway for families. Samantha will warmly welcome you and offer all the help you need to have a wonderful and relaxing holiday. The house is beautifully presented and offers all the home comforts that you could wish for. The pool is great for swimmers and non-swimmers alike. The garden and grounds offer hours of exploring for teenagers and preteens. And finally, the balcony overlooking the garden, stream and pool is the perfect sunny spot for taking it all in (and is close to the fridge for the occasional top-up)! Highly recommended.

This is a splendid house on the edge of a small town Sauveterre la Lemance and on a quiet road which continues through softly wooded roads. The house hides the fact that behind the frontage is a child safe large garden; big enough to play badminton or play football. A large fenced off wildlife pond has fish and other wildlife such as damselflies. The pond is fed by a small stream with tall rustling plants runs alongside the house. Then to top it all there is a good sized swimming pool, spacious seating area and a gazebo to shelter from the sun. When the evening draws in it's an ideal place to sip gin and tonic, or whatever might be your tipple. The house itself is spacious, with the light pouring in. It is very well equipped, the kitchen having enough of everything you would need, the laundry room, the dining room close enough not to lose contact with each other and the sitting room which is large and comfortable. Did I mention the balcony overlooking the garden and pool, an added bonus. The area is close to places of interest such as the prehistoric sites, chateaux and gardens. There a some delightfully pretty Medieval towns nearby too, such as the Bastide town of Monflanquin. We spent 4 years holidaying at Las Laubios no found both Sam and Alun to be very helpful, hospitable and unintrusive hosts Would we recommend Las Laubios; we most certainly would.

We, Sam and Alun will be there to meet and greet you on your arrival to explain all the necessary workings of the house to make your visit as comfortable as possible. A house manual will be available to help with all your possible needs from wifi to locations of nearby restaurants and all contact numbers including our own. We do live on site so if you need anything we are at your disposal.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We hope you enjoy our property as much as we do. We fell in love with the vast garden, woods, leat, pond and fruit trees neatly packaged in 2 hectares of land. Though it keeps us busy, not busy enough to go out and enjoy the local produce and restaurants in the area. We moved here for a secluded, peaceful, lifestyle in the countryside and we found it. The hot summers never let us down which makes the pool a must. So if you are on vacation or looking to buy I think you will fall in love with this area as we did. Castles and bastille towns galore, the Dordogne and Lot at your fingertips, a boat excursion may even be in order. plenty to see and do.

Situated in the Aquitaine triangle formed by the rivers Dordogne, Lot and Garonne, this area of outstanding natural beauty is also referred to as the "cradle of history"; with its marvellous Bastide towns, hazlenut groves, sunflowers and poppy fields it is an artist's paradise. The village of Sauveterre La Lemance 1.5 kms away sports a butcher, mini mart, post office museum and garage. The local bars Le Trotting or Moulin de Auberge in St Front is a great way to meet the French. This area is best known for its truffles and fois gras and is suitable for canoeing, boating, horse riding, walking and cycling or just visiting the vineyards and markets. Good restaurants abound from the simple to five star.

The grounds are a unique feature of this home as it sports extensive woods a natural pond with small fish and a small tributary of the the LĂšmance running alongside the house. This rivulet has crayfish and watercress.
What is most interesting, is that it is one of the best regions in Europe for star gazing with the least amount of light pollution, as it is known as 'The Dark Triangle'.
