Mit seiner außergewöhnlichen Lage an der Küste gehört Hale Mahana Kai zu unseren geräumigen Unterkünften am Meer in Kauai, die so nah am Wasser liegen, dass der Klang der Wellen in jedem Raum zu hören ist. Am Ende der Straße gelegen, mit Blick auf die Bucht und den Strand von Kukui`ula sowie einen kurzen Spaziergang zum Spouting Horn und den National Tropical Botanical Gardens, befindet sich dieses Haus in einer der besten Gegenden an der Südküste von Kauai.

Jedes Schlafzimmer bietet Meerblick und der offene und geräumige Grundriss bietet eine wunderbare Kulisse für die gesamte Familie oder Gruppe. Sie können sich auf der Veranda am Meer entspannen und die zusammenbrechenden Wellen beobachten, Schildkröten, die nur wenige Meter entfernt schwimmen, sowie die farbenfrohen Kauai-Sonnenuntergänge über dem Pazifik.

Das Hale Mahana Kai ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von der Bucht von Kukui`ula und dem Strand und dem kleinen Bootshafen entfernt. Hier können Sie im Standup-Paddeln, Kajak fahren und schwimmen. Für den eher lockeren Badestrand ist Lawai Beach etwa 8 Blocks entfernt. Dieser Strand ist bekannt für großartiges Schnorcheln und Wassersport.

Absolutely beautiful location! The house was well maintained and perfectly suited for a family holiday stay on Kauai, with excellent sunrise and sunset views, complete with whales. A beach within walking distance and the back lawn were perfect for our six year old to play. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and with the amazing evening views found we preferred cooking dinner and enjoying it at the house rather than going out and battling the crowds during the busy season. Great stay!

Perfect location, beautiful property

The view from the porches was incredible! Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is very convenient. The kitchen was well-supplied. The house was clean. Nothing is quite walking distance, but that meant we left the crowds behind. There were small problems with the grill and the dishwasher while we were there, but the property company had repair people there within a couple hours to address the problems, and that's good enough for me. Bring your mosquito spray though!

Fully loaded ocean side home with prime location

Hale Mahana Kai was a magnificent home during our vacation to Kaua'i. The home has everything that you need and then some and the location is absolutely beautiful! We watched sea turtles from the lanai every day and you can get much closer to the water than this home is. The location is prime for these reasons: it on the sunny south side, it's a 10 minute walk to Kukui'ula Harbor Beach which is awesome for snorkeling, swimming, and sunsets, it's a 5 minute walk to spouting horn, 2 minute walk to McBryde Gardens, 8 minute drive to Poipu Beach to see sea turtles, and close to many restaurants and stores. The home had so many amenities from beach chairs, snorkel gear, cooler, blender, grill, laundry, etc. Each bedroom having it's own bathroom was great. The home was spotless upon arrival and was 100% as it is represented online. The Parrish Collection staff communicated thoroughly throughout the booking processes, prior to arrival, and during the stay. They were flexible and allowed us to check out 2 hours late which made a big difference to our family. I highly recommend this property and the Parrish Collection for your stay!

Can’t say enough good things

This is an amazing property with happy vibes. The layout is perfect with a spacious open living space for everyone in the ground floor. The best thing apart from the location is the air conditioning in each bedroom. That truly was heaven sent. Very unusual for a Hawaii property. The location is perfect. Out of the way but close to major amenities. Very quiet location. The lanai is perfect for tea or coffee. Parrish Kauai were extremely efficient and professional with great communication from beginning to end. The house is very well stocked with kitchenware, towels as well as beach toys. Did not use the bbq. Wifi is fast on the ground floor, drops a little upstairs. Another amazing Hawaii property.

Great Spot

Beautiful view, and location is pretty good. Pretty quiet location as you are near the end of the road and only have a couple neighbours. Road has some traffic. There was construction next door one day, but then they didn't show up the rest of the week - not sure what they are doing or if they will be building a house. The house was very well equipped, lots of kitchen tools if you want to cook, and a fun ring game on the deck that is good for all ages. Views from 2 of the upstairs bedrooms are fantastic. The 3rd bedroom has a small kitchen and sitting area which would be good if you had a teen. The roosters do get up early in the morning but I suspect this is the case most places on Kauai, if the AC is running or the waves are pounding they are possible to sleep through. The management company was easy to get ahold of and replaced one of the ACs very quickly when it wasn't producing. If you have small children the only risks are the road and the wall from the garden, but these are manageable. Not having AC in the living room might be an issue if the weather was hotter, but we were fine, and the house is set up to carry a breeze right through it, and being right on the water there is often a breeze. We would definitely return here.

Great Location!

Our second time staying at this property. We LOVE the location-close to Botanical Garden and Spouting Horn-very quiet and isolated. If you are looking for quiet (except for the waves!) and relaxation, this is the place for you! Lots of space for families and only 20 feet from the water. Beautiful sunrises and sea turtles swimming by every day. Looking forward to another stay soon.

Location location fantastic!

Location was fantastic! 3 nice size bedrooms all had private bathrooms 1/2 bath 1st floor. The ocean put all of us to sleep each night. 20 feet from waves! Walked to botanical gardens and spouting horn. Plenty of outdoor seating and the covered 1 st & 2 nd floor covered balconies were great! In HI it seems to rain a little every day.

Location is amazing! So close to the water it feels like you’re on a boat! Sea turtles right outside your door. Beautiful home with large covered lanai, but bathrooms could use some updating. Awesome property. Only bad thing was that the TV needed to be repaired and was not addressed for the entire week.

In checking our folio notes, we did offer a loaner but have noted you did not require one. In any event, know it has since been replaced. Again, sorry for the inconvenience and we do hope to host you again.

Stunning location on Kauai’s South Shore!

We loved the location of Hale Mahana Kauai - right on the coast with beautiful views of Kukuiula Small Boat Harbor. We also liked the layout of the house, since we needed 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The lanais and living and dining rooms were spectacular! The kitchen was very well-equipped and clean. The beds were comfortable; the bathrooms could be refreshed a bit.

Great location. Nice property

We enjoyed our stay immensely. There were 7 of us and we all would love to return. We saw whales and turtles and even dolphins from the Lanai. It has three bedrooms when bathrooms included (full with toilets and showers) There is one half bath. They have a nice airbed that inflates when plugged in that was useful. The kitchen had a crockpot. The people not sleeping in the bedrooms had to coordinate to get their showers in. They also had snorkels, fins, beachchairs and boogie boards in the garage. There was a washer and dryer and a very nice BBQ also. The not so good-we had a Chevy Tahoe and a Chevy Impala. We could only fit the Impala in the garage. We were able to park the other vehicle on the driveway. Also on a bit of a blind curve so we would send someone out to inform us of traffic as we were backing out. We were acrosss the street for the botanical gardens and went twice. The Spouting Horn was in walking distance Overall a great stay and we would love to stay again.

A tropical home away from home!

A beautiful location right on the beach with turtles, birds and surf to lull you into total relaxation. The home was clean and very well equipped. We enjoyed our time immensely! 😎

Just about perfect.

A couple small issues, I'll cover in a moment. Lets not dwell on those though... because you will want to move in after staying here even one day. Location is everything you dream about. Privacy, crashing waves, grass to lay out on, plenty of space, and every amenity an owner could think of to provide you. It's worth every penny. We spent four magical nights, and had to tearfully tear ourselves away to go back home. We should have found a way to spend multiple weeks here... it was that fantastic. For the home: pots, pans, utensils, plenty of silverware/cups/plates. So many in fact... we had family over and no one wanted for anything, including taking care of all the leftovers we ate on for days. Beach wise the owners provided chairs/umbrellas/snorkle equipment/towels/etc. Furniture was comfortable, beds were great, and house was super clean. The only trouble was one air conditioner in a room stopped working immediately, and the knives were very dull. Easy fixes, and shouldn't take away from an amazing property. Parrish Collection were fantastic for the property management too... shout out to them! We will go back if we can, sooner hopefully rather than later. This will be on our list to stay at for sure. Thank you!

Aloha David, Mahalo for your review and we are so happy your enjoyed this great island home. As we mentioned in our note to you in the home, the AC was on the wrong setting (auto and not on cool) and we easily reset it for you while you were out. We will look into sharpening or replacing the knives, thanks again for the info. Hopefully your trip back is sooner and we will look forward to hosting you then. A hui hou!
