Fantastic views!

We loved the property, we have been to a few villas in the area now but this is among the best! The views are amazing and it’s lovely and quiet. We will definitely be back!

Amazing extensive views. Lovely welcome pack, milk, meat, eggs, water, bread and two lovely cold beers. Clean, comfortable beds and plenty of towels, although bring sun lounger towels. Wifi excelente. No air con but plenty of ceiling fans and extra fans provided. Loved pool, small and not deep at either end. Loungers adequate. Porch shade good, with dinning table and chairs, lounge seating would have improved this, updated parasols also. Owners just happened to be on site in the villa behind during part of our stay, they were absolutely lovely and completely unobtrusive yet extremely helpful when we had unforeseen problems ie sandy pool after heavy rain. We have visited many villas in the mountain areas of Andalusia, the narrow approaching roads were some of the best we have encountered. Arkwright supermarket 10 mins drive away was excellent, really well stocked and opened on a Sunday, slightly limited fresh veg, no fresh meat but a butchers a few doors down. Bakers across the road, amazing, a few cafes but we didn’t visit them. Our only negative for a 2 week stay was the small fridge with small freezer space which was inadequate for our needs. Tony and Brenda, thank you for a lovely holiday, loved your Villa.

De très belles vacances

Nous avons passé 3 très agréables semaines dans cette villa qui est bien équipée et fonctionnelle. La maison était propre à notre arrivée et un pack de bienvenue nous attendait. Le grand frigo supplémentaire avec congélateur est un bonus appréciable. L'espace extérieur avec sa piscine et ses larges plages est baigné de soleil et offre une vue vraiment magnifique sur les montagnes, le lac et sur des couchers de soleil différents chaque soir. Nous avons également apprécié le calme de l'endroit. Merci Brenda!

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances, la maison correspond complètement au descriptif, les indications pour trouver la location étaient très précises et nous avons trouvé sans difficultés. Nous remercions Brenda de nous avoir laissé la possibilité de louer sa maison en effet la vue est magnifique la maison très bien équipée il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un bon séjour dans le calme. Notre petit-fils a apprécié la piscine et il n’était pas oublié car des jouets sont prévus également pour les enfants. Nous recommandons cette location.

Quiet, relaxed family holiday

We spent two weeks here and loved it. This place is all about the pool and it’s incredible view over the mountains and lake. Breakfast out on the terrace every morning was a real treat, and watching the sun set with a glass of wine - perfect. The house itself is compact, but was just about ok for us with two children (8 and 5). We cooked at home fairly regularly and the kitchen was well equipped. The only downside for us initially was no air con - so do bear it in mind, especially if you are travelling with very little people! We arrived and it was well into the high 30’s - it was a struggle! But we got some pretty effective and cheap fans at the huge Eroski supermarket in Vélez-Málaga (25 mins) (we didn’t really use Arkwrights the Brit shop which is very close). Beautiful, quiet beaches within driving distance, amazing seafood. We also did a wonderful overnight trip to Seville (2.5hrs away). Well worth the journey! This is a peaceful, remote little spot that we didn’t want to leave! We miss it already.

Merveilleux sejour

Si vous cherchez calme et tranquillité avec des paysages magnifiques c'est la qu'il faut vous rendre, même si la voiture est indispensable. La villa est parfaite pour 4 personnes .Bravo pour la réactivité de la propriétaire à la moindre demande et merci pour le panier d'accueil . J'espère à l'année prochaine .

Beautiful view and comfortable villa with all you require.

You would never get bored of the view the villa has, walking out onto the terrace in the mornings was just stunning. Only issue was water being switched off last couple of days by the local authority, there is a back up tank but the pump stopped working. Tony the emergency contact did come out swiftly to try and fix it. If we went back to this area I would certainly book again!

A lovely villa situated in gorgeous scenery

We loved everyday of our stay in Villa no 9. The villa was well equipped, with everything we needed, as well as stunning scenery to wake up to. The pool was perfect for our needs and all was very clean. Local restaurants and shops a 5 minute car journey away which supplied all our needs. The beach was only a 20 minutes drive away too which was perfect for days out! Would add that an appropriate vehicle is needed for the steep single track road approaching the villa. Thank you for our stay!

Lovely villa with amazing views

We had a lovely holiday here, a real home from home. The villa had everything we need and more. The kids especially loved the pool table! We found some lovely restaurants near by but to be honest we didn't go very far as it was so lovely there!!

Fabulous.

We had a super week at this very clean and excellently maintained villa. Set in the hills the views are stunning. All we needed was provided for, including a great welcome pack. The place was extremely secure, which was very reassuring, and if we returned late at night, the place was not in darkness because of security lights and solar lights in the delightful plants that adorn the villa. Highlights for us included visiting the nearby water park and paddle boarding and kayaking on the beautiful lake, with breathtaking views just a short car drive away. I would have preferred a bigger pool as just 8 strokes of forward crawl got me to the other side, but the rest of my family were happy with it, and we all had great fun splashing around. Thank you for a brilliant holiday.

Séjour très agréable dans cette jolie villa

Nous avons passé deux très bonnes semaines dans cette petite Villa. La vue sur les montagnes est superbe. La maison est propre et bien entretenue, il y a tout se qu'il faut pour se sentir comme à la maison (même un petit panier d'accueil que nous avons beaucoup apprécié). Il faut environ 30 mn pour rejoindre Torre Del Mar, 45 pour Nerja et 1h00 pour Malaga et 1h30 pour Grenade ce qui permet de sillonner cette belle partie de l’Andalousie sans faire trop de route. Nous conseillons vraiment cette villa à ceux qui cherchent du calme et de la détente dans un beau décor.

Stunning villa

Wow! This is a heavenly villa with the most spectacular views. It is a real home-from-home with every comfort, the ideal place for complete rest and relaxation. A short drive leads to Puente Don Manuel where restaurant Meson Sara is very good for tapas and a drink. On the opposite side of Lake Vinuela there is a superb restaurant. Also, Alcaucin is a beautiful, typically Spanish village which is worth a visit. A little further afield is Torrox Pueblo with its gorgeous square of reasonable bars and restaurants. However, there is little reason to leave this charming villa where you can relax by the pool and leave your cares and woes far behind.
