Dear Michaela thank you for your review. I always welcome feedback and any suggestions for improving the holiday experience for guests. I have been renting the house for nearly 17 years with feedback being generally highly positive with many returning guests. In this instance I can honestly say that I do not recognise the description of my house as set out in your review. It is somewhat at odds with the very cordial email exchange I had with your husband after your arrival when he brought to my attention that the air conditioner in your bedroom was not working. This was fixed on the next working day. He also requested if I could do something about a neigbours dog barking. He subsequently emailed to confirm that that the air con had been fixed and everything else was fine. Nothing else was raised with me or my Arcos based contact Paul who visited you during your stay. I am not sure why you believe the advert for the house to be false; questioning that it is much smaller than it appears. The house is set in 10,000 sq meters of arable farmland with three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, dining/living area, separate courtyard, open tower room, large pool and extensive garden area. There are photographs on the website of all these areas, including the indoor/outdoor furniture. You commented that my clothes were in some of the closets. I have a wardrobe in the vestibule for towels, sheets and some clothes. This is totally separate from the ample storage space provided in each of the guest bedrooms. Finally, we have a very strict cleaning regime in place wherby we employ 2 cleaners for 4 hours on each changeover today, which has been enhanced to meet the additional requirements for letting during covid times. The pool and garden are cleaned and tidied weekly. Equipment and furniture are also regularly checked and replaced as required. I am satisfied that all of this was put in place for your visit as I was at the house shortly before you arrived. I am also reassured by the reviews received from the two sets of guests who stayed just after you. Both gave 5 star reviews and commented on how clean, tidy, spacious and well equiped the house was with positive comments about the assistance provided by our on site manager Paul.
