This spacious, recently fully renovated and furnished two storey apartment is situated in the quiet Sao Rafael village, 5 minutes driving from Albufeira. Right in the heart of Algarve, it is considered a prime destination for fantastic holidays and one of the most sought after locations. The area boasts a coastal belt of exceptional scenery and one of the most cosmopolitan settings in the Mediterranean. The apartment is set in an extensive area of mature gardens with a large swimming pool and separate children's pool. The complex is approximately 300 metres from Sao Rafael's beach and 20 minutes walking from Albufeira marina. It is also within walking distance from a variety of fine restaurants.

Jorge’s apartment is excellent and has all the amenities that we required. It is close to some awesome beaches and the communal pool is yards away! There are a couple of decent restaurants within walking distance. The area is nice and quiet, ideal for families. We will definitely return if we can.

Fantastic family location

Lovely spacious apartment in ideal position for pool. Good facilities and decent size rooms. Jorge was excellent in his communication and flexible in timings etc so made for a very relaxed communication and organisation for check in easy and stress free. Restaurants and facilities limited in immediate area but old town easily accessed by taxi/uber for reasonable prices. Very relaxed enjoyable holiday. Thank you Jorge

Amazing location, um you can walk to a very beautiful beach. Very nice house, has everything that you can need. Only missing an expresso machine. The pictures don’t make it justice. The host allowed us to take our small dog and he loved the big balcony.

Great location,nice apartment,great communication.Cleaning could have been better ,food marks and crumbles in the fridge from previous guests. We were not sure how to access the pool but owner was very quick to come back to us. Overall a good experience,would stay again.

Lovely duplex near the beach

Very comfortable spacious duplex on a pretty mature resort...we had a lovely stay here. The apartment is well equipped with everything you could want. Communication with a Jorge was first class. The beach was a few minutes walk away. Lovely pool which we enjoyed a lot. Highly recommended.

The location was perfect and the size of the accommodation was great for our family of four. The cliffs at the beach were such a gift to see every day. The place itself was cleaned but not really CLEAN. It was a bit dirty and smelled musty when we arrived. We had to air it out for a few hours. Also the linens were pretty tired and there were not beach towels available. It’s a decent space and with a few updates and an in depth clean it could be great. It worked for us and we really loved the area.

Family of 4 with 2 children 5 and under.

The property is lovely, modern and clean and well kitted out with everything you might need. The pools just outside were great as well and although we're quite cold on the first day, appeared to warm up over the hot days we were there. Tommy's supermarket is a short walk for supplies and our girls loved playing air hockey at city bar! The two closest beaches are beautiful, we particularly liked arriffes beach which you can get to by walking over the cliffs by Sao Rafael beach or by road to left of the apartment. Sao Rafael beach is five mins downhill. We also loved gale beach (east side) which we got to by taxi which is great for kids. Zoomarine was close by . We got taxis to albuferia and were surpised to find a lot of places we liked by the strip and didn't really bother with the old town as the restaurant touts are pushy and annoying. We also got a train to Lagos and bus back the following day, preferring the bus by far! Overall, We had an excellent holiday mainly because the apartment and location were superb. However, I would say that of you have children that get easily bored it may not be the place for you as it's pretty chilled and relaxed and no play parks etc near by!

Our First Time In Albufeira

This property is in a very pretty area of Albufeira being only about a 10 min walk from Sao Rafael Beach which is world renoun for its beauty. the property is very well appointed and recently renovated with excellent finishes. The owner Jorge will answer any questions you have usually right away or within 24 hours. it's a downstairs/Upstairs Duplex with large lounge / dinning room and fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs are 2 decent sized bedrooms and a single bathroom. all in all this is a very modern property. It is on a pretty development with a communal pool and kids pool right outside the front door almost. There's a snack bar and bar on the pool deck. It's in a quieter area but has a few very good restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The town of Albufeira is about 10 min drive away and the Marina is about a 4 min drive away where there is plenty to do at both locations. I would highly recommend you do a 3hour boat trip to the Bengali Cave from the Marina which will cost 34 Euro. Overall this is a great property with everything you need for a perfect Holiday. Der Aufenthalt war großartig! Das Apartment liegt direkt gegenüber vom Eingang zum Pool, es sind tatsächlich nur 5 Minuten zum Strand. Es gibt alles was man braucht und wenn man mal erschöpft ist, lädt das Entertainmentsystem zum Filmeschauen ein.Einziges manko ist der relativ weite Weg zum Supermarkt an der Marina, woran wir uns jedoch schnell gewöhnt haben. Für den Kaffee lohnt es sich. Die kleinen Läden in der Nähe sind super für Noteinkäufe. Den größeren Einkauf konnten wir mit dem Bus erledigen, was auch kaum ein Problem war.

Wunderbar

Super schöne, ruhige Anlage mit großem Pool. Alles war so, wie im Inserat beschrieben. Besonders schön war auch die grüne Umgebung und die Nähe zu der herrlichen Bucht. Leider ein Stern Abzug, da es im Bad extrem aus dem Abfluss gerochen hat, was sich aber mit der Lüftung beheben ließ.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt

Wir waren zum 2. mal in der gleichen Wohnung, da die Lage perfekt für Ausflüge ist. Im Umkreis bis 100km findet jeder etwas interessantes, ob tolle Strände, Natur, Geschichte, Essen und Trinken. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, Parkplätze sind immer frei, es ist sehr ruhig und die anderen Gäste sind sehr international. Wir kommen wieder.

Wunderbar

Das Haus ist toll. Es ist geräumig, gemütlich, tolle Lage, große Küche. Diese könnte etwas besser ausgestattet sein. Für kleine Gerichte reicht alles, allerdings sind Pfannen und Töpfe schon alt und für großes Kochgeschehen schlecht geeignet. Insgesamt war der gesamte Aufenthalt hervorragend und wir würden uns wieder für dieses Objekt entscheiden Vielen Dank!

Der perfekte Urlaubsort

Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen und sehr gepflegten Anlage. Eine Freude sind die Hibiskusbäume, Rosmarinsträucher und Granatäpfelbäume, einfach herrlich. die Wohnung geht über 2 Etagen und bietet alles was man braucht. Wir waren mit 2 Personen in der Wohnung und haben es genossen. Für 4 Personen müsste wohl etwas mehr Küchenzubehör, wie Besteck vorhanden sein, oder man isst mehr extern... Die Strände sind sensationell, den Hausstrand erreicht zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten. Das war ein traumhafter Urlaub und wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Alleine wegen der Störche in Silves war es der Urlaub wert.
