Beautiful cabin

A great cabin with a generous stock of pans, dishes, etc. Bring your own spices if you cook, but everything else was well covered. Overall a wonderful property and great stay.

Great Place!!

This property was perfect for an amazing ski weekend. Very quiet neighborhood and well stocked for everything you need. Lots of space and great for a family (kids area downstairs). Definitely would stay again.

Weekend birthday getaway

Stayed for the weekend for a birthday getaway it had everything we needed and in reasonable distance to the things we wanted to do. The only thing we didn’t like was the hot tub cover was extremely heavy and water logged so I think it should be replaced in the future completely impossible to put back on by yourself. Overall great little place

Great cabin

Perfect for a small family. Nice quiet area and good floor plan. Only complaints: the hot tub is a bit outdated and took a very long time to warm up, some items were not as clean as they could have been. Overall though it was a great stay.

Nice property - odd with camera at door

This property was nice, clean and as you see online. Our stay was comfortable. The only odd part of the stay was having a camera set up and on when we came and went from the property. That felt very uncomfortable. Aside from that, the property itself was nice.

Nice house; not great hosts

The house was fine. We found many discrepancies with the listing and things that need improvement: for example:-- no dining room table; only countertops and barstools - don't plan on a family style meal-- there are 5 bikes, but -- all tires were flat on arrival (good thing we had a compressor in our truck) & one bike was unusable due to tire that lost air immediately after filling; one lost its' chain often while in use-- outdoor deck table only seats 4 which is odd for a house sleeping more than 4; and no kitchen chairs that can be used outside-- BBQ ran out of propane on our 2nd night there-- no food storage containers (tupperware; tin foil, saran wrap) of any sortLastly - we weren't fans of this rental company. They seemed to care little about the renters. I typically choose to not write anything if my review might be less than favoring, however this wa our 7th VRBO home of the season. This was our worst experience yet. It's the small things that renters enjoy and this rental company (Meredith) did not come through.

Girls’ Weekend

We loved the house a lot! Perfect size for us. Kitchen is well stocked and comfy couch for movie nights! On the negative, they need to talk to their cleaning crew. Dirty towel left in cupboard, empty Kleenex box left out, we found dirty socks beside two of the beds, and clothing rags that had been cut off and left on carpet. Also, master bedroom door to deck had broken door frame and wood pieces just set next to the door and door was left open, we had to prop night stand in front of door to keep it shut. They hadn’t let us know bout that. And the bikes were all left in a mess and not locked up. We would definitely stay here again but just maybe need a new janitorial service!

Ok overall but needs TLC from the owners

The property was relatively clean.. and I’d say the 3 highlights of the property are the remodeled kitchen and upstairs bathroom. (Along with the large hot tub on the upper deck) Otherwise the photos of the property are quite outdated; the furniture and bedding were also old and needing to be replaced. -The master bedroom upstairs had a distinct musty smell; and the door seals need to be replaced ASAP as there was a strong breeze coming from it (which wasn’t fun at night in February) -All the windows needed a good wipe down -The downstairs top bunk bed was extremely unstable and it also had a piece of very thin plywood for the foundation.. wasn’t very happy with having my 6 year old sleeping on that so had her sleep on the floor instead.. (can’t imagine an adult sleeping on that!) -The washer and dryer are small and from the 1980’s but functional -The garage door was locked and inaccessible (really bummed about that as listing didn’t mention not having access to the garage) -The kitchen didn’t have any spices besides table salt but at least there was lots of small kitchen appliances, bowls, utensils etc. -All of the blankets need a good washing as there was lots of hair over most of the blankets. -The shower upstairs would run scorching hot or cold (even if no one was using the washer or other shower) Overall; it was a good time had by friends but wouldn’t stay here again..due to the lack of care by the owners.. and especially for the price per night.

Fun in Sunriver

The house was great, everything was as stated in the description. The kitchen is very well stocked and we had everything we needed. There is a very small table to use for meals. It is a chess and checkers table with the pieces stored in the table drawers. We did not use the hot tub or the bikes provided. I would book this house again for sure!

Very nice, spacious remodeled kitchen and main bathroom. Great location

We’ve stayed at this property twice and enjoyed our stay as a family both times. The kitchen and main bathroom have been recently remodeled and are very nice and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked with basic needs. The property was clean upon arrival. There are bikes provided, however I would suggest bringing your own if you plan on riding around sunriver. The check in process was very easy and convenient. I would say the main drawbacks for us with this property are that there is not a bathroom in the master bedroom and the decks are really in need of repair. Also, the main deck gets plenty of sun throughout the day but no shade, an outdoor umbrella would help to allow shade while enjoying the peaceful view during the day. Overall it’s a nice property to stay at and I would recommend it.

Great family time

We had a good family vacation at this home. The hot tub was great and used daily. The bikes were in working order and convenient to have so we didn't have to bring our own. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would ever need. Convenient location, away from the busy Village but close enough to run down to the store if needed. The bedroom upstairs with the king size bed needs shades in the upper windows. With this being a vacation, we wanted to sleep in a little bit but that was not happening with the sun beating through directly onto the bed. It was HOT! The bathroom upstairs is aesthetically pleasing but functionality is lacking. The doors on the shower look great but you can't hang towels on it and the floor of the shower is SUPER slippery. There needs to be more places or hooks to hang towels after showering or getting out of the hot tub. There wasn't much room to put groceries in the kitchen because the cupboards are full with kitchen items which is great but grocery storing is pretty slim. The washer and dryer are small so you can only wash about 4 swim towels at a time. The downstairs gets VERY cold (like uncomfortably cold) when the air conditioner is on. If it was warm upstairs and we turned on the air, it would be freezing downstairs. It was hard to regulate the temperature to where is was comfortable for everyone. Pizza from Blondies was really good and convenient when we didn't want to go anywhere. The SHARC passes were amazing to have. We only got to go once though due to restrictions on reserving time slots but the one time we went was super fun. It was nice to have a table on the outside deck for late afternoon snacks and games. It would've been nice to have 2 more chairs for out there though. There was a good selection of games available for use. The neighbors were nice and welcoming as well. Overall, it was fun but not sure I would rent it again due to the issues listed above.

Very Clean and Comfortable Getaway

We often rent out cabins and homes in the Sunriver and Bend area and this was by far our favorite. Everything about the home was perfectly setup for us, the hot tub and grill made the entire trip feel like a true vacation. We were even able to order groceries via InstaCart which made it possible for us to stay put and be comfy the whole trip. Very quiet area with plenty to do. Will save to stay again.

Beautiful house

The house is updated with a wonderful kitchen for family meals, nice natural light with lots of windows and well-appointed.

Cozy and clean getaway

My friends and I were so happy with this property! The beds were insanely comfortable and the huge windows let in so much light/had such a cozy view of the trees.

Incredible!

This property had everything we would need! Really felt like home, and not like we were living out of our suitcases! Created some great memories will definitely be visiting again!

Would Not Choose this Home Again

We stayed there for a week during the fires in Oregon in early Sept. 2020. We weren't expecting a lot to be open, and that was the case. The home is clean, the beds are comfortable and the hot tub is very nice. Unfortunately, the home is so sparsely equipped, you better be ready to buy more of most things while you're there. To begin with, there is not a dining room table, or desk, or anywhere to sit and eat with a family, or work, or play games, puzzles, etc., except for the counter and stools. There are no spices, condiments, foil, and just a couple of small plastic containers, but no sandwich bags or larger, so be prepared to buy your own across the board. We purchased spices, salt and pepper, and foil, and left them there so the next person doesn't have to buy it. As well, they provided one kitchen towel and dish rag for your whole stay. They do state that whatever is there you can use, but if you need more of essentials, you have to buy them yourself. As well, the front steps and railings could use some updating as they snagged our clothes because they were rough and wobbly. Lots of stairs! Just not the home for us.
