We recently stayed at this property and unfortunately had several significant issues that made the experience far from what we’d expect for an expensive beach vacation.The air conditioning unit appears to be either very old or simply inadequate. The house regularly heated into the 80s during the day and didn’t cool down to around 75F until approximately 6 a.m. Guests should not expect to stay comfortably cool.The master bedroom floor is in poor condition, with cracks throughout that give the impression it is failing. A small rug has been placed over part of it, but it does little to address the problem and creates a tripping or stubbed-toe hazard.The exterior doors use automatic locks. We were locked out of the house and were only able to regain entry because my wife had her phone and could contact VRBO support for the code. Anyone staying here should make sure to keep a phone with them at all times when leaving the property.The toilet seat in the master bathroom does not stay up. Families with young boys will likely find themselves dealing with frequent messes.There are also no ceiling fans anywhere in the house, so there is no secondary way to improve air circulation or comfort when the air conditioning is struggling.Overall, these issues made the stay uncomfortable and more stressful than it needed to be. Prospective guests should be aware of these problems before booking. Do not book this house for a comfortable vacation during the summer.
