Guadalupe River Road Rückzug Texas Star Cabin

Das Guadalupe River Road Retreat befindet sich zwischen der 2. und 3. Kreuzung auf halber Strecke zwischen Gruene und Sattler. Diese Oase am Fluss Guadalupe ist für Familien und Paare geeignet, die den Fluss in einer ruhigen Umgebung genießen und den lauten Menschenmassen und Partyhütten entfliehen möchten.

Gäste in unseren Hütten haben die Freiheit, im Schatten majestätischer Eichen, Pekannüsse und Zypressen den 6 Hektar großen Park zu erkunden. Sie können fantastische Ausblicke auf den Fluss Guadalupe von Decks und Schaukeln aus genießen, ein Nickerchen in einer Hängematte machen oder Tag oder Nacht auf unserem neu ausgebauten Tennisplatz Tennis spielen und natürlich Zeit im und am Fluss verbringen!

Der Fluss ist von zwei Stellen aus zugänglich, einem Betonsteg mit Stufen oder über einen natürlichen Weg hinunter zu einer Sitzecke unter dem Vordach zweier massiver Zypressen. Auf der anderen Seite des Flusses befindet sich eine einzigartige, vom Fluss geschnitzte Kalksteinfläche, in der die Menschen häufig gerne herumhängen, im Wasser spielen und den toobern beim Vorbeischweben zuschauen.

Great family atmosphere

Don’t hesitate to bring your little ones but great for all ages. Lots of shade if you want it or plenty of sun in the river. Property owners make you feel at home and take great pride in the property and making sure you enjoy it.

We highly recommend the Rivers Edge Retreat

We had an amazing stay at the Rivers Edge Retreat. Carlton and Laura were absolutely the best..They went over and beyond for us. They aired up our tubes and even gave us a ride to where we wanted to be dropped off so we could float back to our cabin. This is by far the best service we've ever received staying on River Road in New Braunfels and we have visited many places. This location is everything and it is right on the river. Sobeautiful and so many shade trees which we love. There is so much wildlife we were able to see & enjoy. We highly recommend the Rivers Edge Retreat.Thank you and we hope to visit again next summer.

Guadalupe Texas Star Cabin

This cabin was an excellent get away to enjoy time on the Guadalupe River. There are nice rapids at the river access to play, relax, and provide exceptional people watching. The walk down to the river is not far from the cabin. It was a wonderful vacation spot for our family because the cabin was extremely clean and cozy, comfortable beds, good wifi, large relaxing deck and outdoor furniture, and beautiful yard to enjoy sitting outside in the evenings. The property owner was friendly and responsive. There are nearby tubing outfitters for convenient floating options. We will definitely return to stay at this cabin to enjoy time on the Guadalupe River.

Right on the River, very clean

Carlton was there to greet us at the gate. He showed us around the property and gave us some tips for the river. We went on a couples getaway trip and the house we rented was perfect for us. They have several other properties on site that you could also rent if you were to have a bigger group. We walked to the river to hang out in the evenings, and a tube rental place was approximately a quarter mile up the road. The house was clean, and had most appliances and amenities you could need. Our small group has already discussed renting it again for next year. Highly recommend.

Another Great Stay!

This is our second time staying on Carlton & Laura's property. The cabin is very clean, and fully stocked. We have stayed at vacation properties that are completely bare. Paper towels, Kleenex, trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, are all provided. Even mosquito spray! The hosts think of everything. The property is secluded. Although there are other cabins on the property, you never feel "crowded." Two mornings we were the only people on the Guadalupe! I really cannot say enough good things- from a random request for string from my seven year old, to an impromptu photo shoot provided by Laura- the hosts go above and beyond to really make your vacation one to remember. I would not hesitate to recommend the cabin.

Relaxing weekend out of the hustle and bustle

This is an easy vacation and super relaxing - our kids enjoyed all of the open areas, tennis courts, and private areas on the river. Weekdays on the river allowed for us to have everything to ourselves. The owners were attentive to our needs and incredibly kind. We hope to go again with our broader families as renting out all houses on the property would be an incredible family time.

Great spot on the Guadalupe

Great place for a small family or if you have a larger group there are a few other cabin/houses on the property. Host is very accommodating and lives on the property and will help you with the lay of the land with tips regarding the river and restaurants around the area. We did no cooking on site but there seemed to be pretty much anything you needed to make a river meal happen including a gas grill.

Relaxing and Rejuvenating

We had a phenomenal time at the property. The location is right on the Guadalupe river with easy access. Carlton and Laura run the property and are the most hospitable hosts one could hope to get, very friendly and care deeply about your experience. The cabin was clean and neat and has everything you need, just bring your food and drinks. Carlton even pumped up our inflatables and got the fire pit sorted for our kids each night, along with S'mores! We will definitely be back, you will not regret your time here.

AMAZING stay! We have found our river house!

We (family of four. Wife, two daughters age 9 and 18, and I) have been staying on the Guadalupe for many years and have stayed at many different homes from inside city limits up to Sattler. This year we found these homes and are extremely happy we did. We stayed Fourth of July and Labor Day Weekend in two different homes. They have several homes to choose from on their land. We have NEVER had the quality of cleanliness and service from an owner as we did for our stays here. For both our stays they were just a phone call or text away. The location on the river is great and we never hang out on the river at the house we're at because we love floating, but we decided that two days we would just sit in the river and hang out and had the best time. The homes were clean and ready for us when we arrived and the owners were there to welcome us both times, even when we arrived late in the evening for Labor Day Weekend. We strongly recommend y'all check out these homes for couples, small families or large families splitting up in these houses. You're close to the neighboring house but not too close. These are the homes we will be renting from now on when we visit the Guadalupe as a family or just my wife and I!

Best rental spot on the river!

Amazing experience at this little cabin on the river. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin is the perfect size for a family of 4. We were greeted at the gate by the owner, who lives on site in another cabin and always available and willing to ask if there's anything he can do for you. The cabin is well stocked with anything and everything you could need for a week by the river including good coffee for the adults and all the fixings for smores for the kids. Even the cookware and knifes are top notch, not like the usual rental cookery. The property is well maintained and affords easy access right down to prime river float spots. We didn't feel like renters, we felt like family and we will definitely be back again next year!

A stay at Texas Star Cabin is a 5 Star experience. A cabin, with a beautiful deck and the Guadaluple River in your backyard! Owners provide everything one needs except the food, unless you can live on Smores!! We'll be back!!
