Gemütliche und sorgfältig eingerichtete Wohnung im Herzen von Memphis, 5 Minuten vom Zoo und 10 Minuten von der Innenstadt und 2 Minuten von der Broad Ave. –– ein unterhaltsamer Ort zum Einkaufen, Essen und Trinken. Neben dem Haus des Gastgebers (lesen Sie mehr als 600 5-Sterne-Bewertungen), verbunden mit einem 2. Studio (separat zu mieten) - Sie nutzen ausschließlich das Apartment, das komplett privat und sorgfältig gereinigt ist und über ein erholsames Bett, Bad und eine Küchenzeile verfügt. Schattiger Garten, entspannender Sitzbereich und eingezäunter Vorgarten.

Tolles Queensize-Bett (mittlerer Memory-Schaum), WiFi & Smart-TV, Minikühl- und Gefrierschrank, Toaster, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine (mit Kaffee). Wohnbereich mit Doppelschlafsofa und zusätzlicher Luftmatratze auf Anfrage. Vollbad mit Dusche, Badewanne und viele bequeme Handtücher. Auch tierfreundlich (15 Dollar Gebühr). Der Eingang befindet sich auf der Rückseite (siehe Anweisungen zum Check-in) und neben der Tür befindet sich ein Parkplatz. Fühlen Sie sich frei, um Zeit in unserem entspannten Hinterhof zu verbringen. Weitere Parkplätze stehen auf Anfrage zur Verfügung.

Diese Wohnung ist mit einem zweiten Studio verbunden, das ebenfalls über Airbnb vermietet wird. Während Ihres Aufenthalts sind möglicherweise andere Gäste vor Ort, aber Ihr Apartment ist nur für Sie zugänglich.
Haustiere sind willkommen, es wird jedoch eine Gebühr von 15 USD pro Aufenthalt für zusätzliche Aufräumarbeiten erhoben, die häufig erforderlich sind. Dies ist zusätzlich zum regulären Preis und kann mit Bargeld oder über eine App bezahlt werden.

Das Kunstviertel Broad Ave ist nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt. City & State ist ideal für Kaffee und Geschenke, Wiseacre für Craft Beer, Broadway Pizza und Bounty für ein schönes Abendessen und vieles mehr.

Das Haus liegt direkt an der Pappelallee, der Hauptstraße durch Memphis und Sam Cooper (Verbindung mit der I-40). Bushaltestellen in Poplar und Hollywood befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Uber & Lyft sind großartige Optionen für Reisen in Memphis.

Lovely stay at the Blue Heron

This is the third time we have stayed at one of Jamey's properties and it won't be the last. Really comfy bed for tired travelers, and it's especially great -- for us and our pup -- that it's such a short walk to beautiful Overton Park.

Great Stay

Great place close to everything!

The house was sooo cute! Jamey & Michelle we’re very responsive and friendly. The neighborhood was so cute and very close to everything we wanted to do! Highly recommend staying there!! We will definitely stay there again!!

Our Blue Heron getaway

The Blue Heron is a cute, clean little place in a convenient location. The owners are very responsive and checked on us during our visit. This is our second time staying here and we really love it. I'm a bit weird about the cleanliness of the places we stay and this one passed the test.

Cozy stay, very walkable

Loved the fenced in portion of the yard for our dogs. They were obsessed with the turkey and chickens next door. Kitchenette was also nice.

Cute little place

We stayed the weekend at the Blue Heron and loved it. The place was clean, tastefully decorated, and quiet. We enjoyed the backyard where they have plenty of seating and a fire pit. The location of the house was within about 15 minutes of the places we visited. (Graceland and Beal Street.) We would definitely like to stay here again.

Easy Location

Easy and central location between my company headquarters in Germantown and downtown Memphis. Fantastic price. The property managers made the checkin process easy and even checked in on me during my stay to make sure I was happy.

My stay

Me and my sisters came into town from Louisville to see a show in the city and stayed here for a night. It was a beautiful place and the location was super convenient, everywhere we went was within 15 minutes of the property which just so happened to be right off the main road we used to travel around the city. Check in was super easy, though I missed the checkout instructions :(. All in all it was a great stay!!

Convenient comfortable spot, but check-in wasn’t smooth.

We checked in around 11pm, slept well, and were able to get back on the road early with coffee to-go and a couple snacks. Jamey had to be called 13 times for check-in information. We had mentioned arriving later in the evening but should have had a check-in pin earlier.

Clean, cozy, good value

This small studio is actually half a duplex, a newly renovated apartment inside a kind of shack-like structure -- the other side appears to be larger and is also apparently available from the same owners. The unit has no stove or washer/dryer but it does have a toaster oven and a microwave, sink and small fridge. It's a small, cozy and very clean and newly renovated unit inside. The grounds have a large, shady gravel courtyard with seating areas (plastic chairs/tables) and a portable fire pit. Upon my arrival I sat in the shade of a large tree and had a cigar and bourbon; it was quite pleasant. The immediate surrounding area is a bit sketchy-looking and NOT walkable (i.e., a busy street, several dilapidated or abandoned homes and no sidewalks)...HOWEVER, there is a huge, nice park a couple of blocks away, and the house is about half a mile from Poplar Ave. and a host of really cool restaurants. This includes Corky's, the famous local BBQ joint, which is located about 5 miles east on Poplar. The owners are friendly and responsive. All in all this was a pleasant stay and perfect for my purposes (a quick overnight), especially considering the price. Thanks!

Perfect Spot for our Memphis Visit

The neighborhood was a bit sketchy driving in and we were a little concerned. We also had an Uber driver who was worried for us when he saw the address we had put in as our destination when Ubering back from Beale St one night. He told us it wasn't the best neighborhood to be in. That being said, we had no issues or problems at all while staying there, and felt safe the entire time. The unit itself was cute and perfect for my husband and myself to call "home" for a couple nights while sightseeing in Memphis. It's close to restaurants and shopping, and a cheap Uber ride anywhere in downtown Memphis. Everything we needed was in the unit, and it was sparkling clean! I appreciated the owner's communication, and our check-in and check-out was a breeze!! She was nice enough to communicate to us that a worker was coming to fix the siding early one of the mornings and even offered to reschedule the work if it would be bothering us (it wasn't a bother for us). I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a space to lay their head for a couple nights, and would definitely consider their other properties that they own as well in the future if I find myself in one of those cities!

Mediocre property and location, great communication by host.

First of all I must say the communication frequency and detail of the host Jamie is extremely commendable. If there is any reason for us to return back to this property, it would be the accountability of the host. The property is exactly as posted on Vrbo. Enough space for a family of 3 (we travelled with our ten month of Golden Retriever). The cleanliness is questionable. There was a musty smell through the room. The AC eventually worked but I had to call the host to clarify the controls. There is a portable space heater in the room as well. The location is not great. The neighborhood was not appropriate for dog walking. There is a grass patch in front but not clean at all. The location is close to all amenities. I am unsure if I can positively recommend the property for the price I paid. If Location and general cleanliness (Refer: the musty smell) is not a concern for you, you can go for it. You can expect great level of communication from the host Jamie.

Average place to stay

Pros Seems to be a quiet neighborhood. The outdoor space and parking is fantastic. Ironing board & iron were appreciated. Ear plugs provided. Loved the local recommendations. Cons 2 large towels, no hand towels, & no washcloths is not acceptable for guests. We had 2 adults and toddler. Would have been nice to have the other needed towels. Towels were placed under the sink against the pipes. Super gross. The house smell & a dying plant were not very welcoming. The walls need cleaned & paint touch ups, they make the place feel dirty. The fridge needs cleaned. The couch is extremely uncomfortable & the chair is stained and looks like a cat has been sharpening it's claws. The worst part of this trip was we drove here with a toddler expecting to get in with our 1 hr later than the earliest checkin time expecting to be able to get in and the owner had not sent us the welcome info. My toddler needed to poop and I was frantically trying to get a hold of the owners in order to get my kid inside to use the bathroom.

Great Place for A Single Person and Dogs

The check in process and everything was easy. I had no problems. One thing I would change is to have some cleaning supplies handy for spills and such, not just paper towels to clean it up. Luckily it wasn’t too far from the store. Nice little yard for the dogs to play and potty in.
