Unser großes, geräumiges 2 BR 1 BA Brick Home befindet sich auf einem 1/2 Hektar großen Grundstück in einer tollen sicheren Lage 15 min bis überall in der Stadt. Es hat vier Betten in voller Größe. Zwei Betten in jedem Schlafzimmer. Es bietet Platz für bis zu acht Personen, wenn 2 Personen in einem Bett schlafen. Es ist zu Fuß zu Shelby Farms Park & ​​die grüne Linie Fahrrad / Wanderweg. Unser Haus hat eine große, voll ausgestattete Küche mit einem vollen Satz von Töpfen und Pfanne, Backwaren, Mixer, Handmixer, Geschirr - alles was man braucht, um eine schöne Mahlzeit zu kochen. Unser Haus hat einen Weinkühler, Frühstücksbar, Waschmaschine / Trockner, Bügeleisen und Bügelbett.

Das Haus bietet Platz für bis zu 8 Personen, wenn 2 Personen pro Bett schlafen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass es nur 1 Badezimmer gibt, wenn Sie 8 Personen buchen.

Für diejenigen, die mit kleinen Kindern reisen. Unser Haus ist NICHT Baby Beweis. Die Auslässe sind nicht abgedeckt und die Schränke haben keine Sicherheitsverriegelungen.

Great place to come and go

We visited town for 5 days with our family of 7 and needed a place to call home base. This was perfect. The kids ran around in the yard when we were coming and going, we had enough space to have family movie night and we had plenty of dining seats for the one night we ordered in food. Easy on/off to I40 which made getting around town super easy. Clean, well stocked with the basics, and perfect for a weeks stay.

Convenient to Memphis

It was nice to meet up with our friend and see the town. We always have had the concept of a listed bedroom to have privacy, this was not available with a curtain. This listing should be a 1 bedroom.

Welcoming hosts that are very thoughtful

The place was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Nice, clean, soft sheets, and comfy beds. Welcoming hosts that are very thoughtful with their provisions. It is like you truly are guests in their home. Their description is very honest. We visit Memphis at least 3 times per year. We are pretty familiar with Memphis. We have stayed in hotels all over the city. (Some of them only once). If it's available, we wouldn't hesitate booking another stay here.

John met us for check-in and did a brief overview of everything. He had taken the time to get basic breakfast items for us, so that was wonderfully unexpected. He also took time to go find me the correct cord to link my phone with the house’s TV. Everything was as presented on VRBO. For those that care, no TV in either bedroom.

Dark, dirty & no ventilation

1. The bathroom has no fan and the window can't be open.2. There is not enough lighting in the living room and dining areas. I can't see what I'm eating!3. The walking area in the kitchen is very narrow. When I'm cooking at the stove, my husband cannot walk behind me to get to the microwave or to get anything from the cabinets4. Lots of dusts!

Old Fashion

Upon arriving the owners of the property stay in the back. Going in dust and feeling of something on my skin crawling made me uncomfortable and mention it whether it’s dust mites or bugs I was threatening with lawsuit for slander. I left after the night because I paid for two nights. Front door had a lock pole so you enter only in the back. Very old fashion and strong cleaning order from moth balls and some other smell.

I stay here when I come to Memphis on business. John and Pamela are excellent hosts, never any issues. I only gave the neighborhood a 4 rating becaue of the surrounding areas. Their street is safe and quiet.and I've had no issues the past 3 years. I hate giving a high rating because I want it available when I travel there, but the truth is what it is.

Weekend stay

The outside looks a little rough, some debris from a fallen tree limb, the roof looks really old. But the inside was clean, the air conditioner worked very well. If you are expecting plush accommodations, find a different place. But if you want a nice secure clean place, this one hits all the marks. The beds were comfortable and linens clean. John was nice and had breakfast items available for us as well. The location was ideal for what we wanted to do.

Memphis weekend

Nice little house close to I40 which made it easy to get to area attractions quickly. The neighborhood is a little sketchy but the parking was off street and behind the home. We never felt unsafe. The host was responsive to text messages. John greeted us upon arrival and gave us the tour. Super friendly and helpful.

Home away from Home

Let me start by saying that Mr. Christmas is as down to earth as you can get, he is very personable and loves a good conversation. The house was clean from top to bottom, there was even some food in the fridge for us to help ourselves. Everything you need for a great stay, and a comfortable stay was at your fingertips. Mr. Christmas was there as soon as we arrived, to let us in and even walked through the house with us to show us anything we needed to know. We are definitely looking forward to our next trip to Tennessee, and hoping to be able to rent this property again.. Mr. Christmas is a wonderful host

JOHN - I'm born and raised in Memphis. I am a musician, singer/songwriter, audio producer. I also build recording studios through out the country. I enjoy motorcycle riding, concerts, hiking and cycling. I am a vegan and love to cook and garden.

PAM - We are new the vacation rental community and we are excited to meet our guests! I am originally from Liberty, Missouri. I am a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder. John and I lived happily in this home for 7 years then decided to turn it into rental property. We rented it for years but this year we decided to change it to a vacation rental.

There's so much to see and do in Memphis. You are close to everything as we are right of the 240-40 interchange. Our home has a large half acre yard. It is very spacious inside. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need to cook yourself some lovely meals.
