Beautiful beach but…..

Check in is a hassle you have to go off site to pick up key.(digital key pad with be better )Poolside bathrooms were out of order (we had asked about pool being fully in service prior to rental ) was not informed that there were no public bathrooms at pool area.Kitchen blender top was broken (we asked about this in advance also ) beds need replacement, unit was for sale and realtor was doing open house during our arrival.Whole apartment is worn, tired ...needs refresh...patio furniture was torn and unsafe to sit inpool is very small has a max capacity of 12 (per signage) but full with 6 Beach was lovely, weather was lovely, me and my friend enjoyed our time together. Restaurant across the street Salt Rock AMAZING ....Nice that the area has a trolley to get around.

Nice Family Vacation

The condo was clean and a decent place to stay. The kitchen was sparsely outfitted. Furniture could use some updating, but overall, a very nice stay. The beach was beautiful. The property had received some damage for the hurricanes this past fall so things were still being repaired. Elevator was not in working order, which was a little rough with all of luggage. Pool was great, beach was great and location was great. Bedroom could use some better shades, lots of light at nighttime. Overall, great family vacation.

Great condo on great beach at great price!

This place has a beautiful view of a quiet section of the Indian shores beach. The condo is large for a 1 bedroom and roomy. Check in was about 15 minutes away from the property, but otherwise smooth and easy. The place was very clean when we checked in. I don't know why it has so many bad reviews. Yes they only give you 1 trashbag and 1 hotel bar of soap, but this helps them keep their rate down. All in all this property is a great value for a condo directly on the beach, and I would definitely stay at this place again.

Condo musty, dingy, dirty, and property management doesn’t care.

The first impression of the condo is a strong musty smell when you open the door. Lasting impression is the owner and property management do the barest of minimum to maintain the condo. The furniture has cheap dollar store couch covers on them. The door trim and switches were stained dirty. The top half of the light above the bathroom mirror was so covered in dust that you couldn’t tell it was supposed to be shiny aluminum finish. The beds were full sized (not Queen) and rock hard. The blinds in the bedroom were the cheapest possible and did not keep the light from the walkway out of your eyes while sleeping at all. There is wicker shelving screwed into the wall in the bathroom that is covered in dust and grime. I emailed the property manager that we were only given 1 trash bag. They emailed back highlighting their “starter supplies only” policy. They warn on the agreement that you will incur additional charges if the condo isn’t “clean” when you leave, but they also feel they need to save $0.10 on a second trash bag. I felt that was the perfect example of the stay: do whatever it takes to spend nothing, including time to clean, on the condo so every penny from the renter is profit. This is clearly more important to them than having repeat customers. Avoid this property if you expect your vacation dollars to buy you anything more than the lowest cost provider. Go someplace where they are willing to provide you more than one trash bag and a clean condo for your stay.

a little difficult to check in and out

The office to get the keys is a ways down the beach. It took 17min each way to get the keys. Then, you have to drive them all the way back. The kitchen was filled with big gnats. The location was great though.

Beautiful view

Property was clean, and had a beautiful view of the water from the balcony. Key retrieval was a nightmare. Sent copy of ID and credit card via email for contact free check in prior to trip. When we got to the location to pick up keys they were not in the lock box, had to go to another location and was told we couldn’t have the keys until we signed their contract even though we had a signed copy on our phone that we showed the attendant. He was very rude and we finally just signed another copy so we could get the keys and drive to the room. There we little to no essential items at the unit. Only one trash bag and no dishwasher pods. Called the contact info on packet and were told that those items were not necessarily something they provide but we could drive back to the main office to pick them up if we wanted. Ended up asking a cleaning lady in the parking lot for a trash bag and laundry pod. There were two old broken down folding chairs to use at the beach and no beach towels. It did not say those items were provided but we had stayed at the same resort in December in a different unit and it had beach chairs and beach towels provided. The property does have a nice heated pool and Just a couple steps from the pool area you are walking on the beach.

Nice large clean beachfront

The unit we stayed in was clean, large and beachfront. Check-in could be easier if keyless entry/combination locks were used. Having to pickup and drop off keys seems a little out dated. The property was also a little out dated and the beds were very uncomfortable and bouncy. Other than the beds, the unit fit our needs nicely.

Amazing View But Outdated

The condo was very clean and has an amazing view! However, the condo itself is outdated, bare and not cozy/comfortable. The mattress & pillows are hard and uncomfortable, so much so that we went and bought our own pillows so we could sleep. The living room isn't cozy for a family at all. Also, the furniture is very outdated. There were lots of kitchen accessories, but they require you purchase your own toilet paper & paper towels which we've never experienced in any other rental. The check in process isn't the easiest either since you have to drive 15 minutes to get your keys and then to drop them off as well.

Wonderful property with a beautiful view.

We loved this property! Easy to get to, very clean, beautiful view of the ocean and it is a well maintained property. The furnishings are a little dated but in great condition. Our only complaint is that the check-in/check-out location is several blocks from the property. It would be much more convenient if it were closer. But we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property!

VRBO makes it so easy! I will recommend the condo to anyone wanting a beach vacation. You can't get a better experience! Very nice accommodations, #306 has everything, except your clothes. Bring your meals and never leave for anything.
