Nette Hütte, super Lage

Das Cottage auf dem Gelände der Villa „Patiently Waiting“ist klein, aber fein. Chris, der uns empfing, ist ein super netter Kerl und immer zur Stelle, wenn etwas zu helfen ist. Der Strand ist wunderschön, in 5 bis 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen und man hat (mit der Residence-Card) Liegen und Rabatt aufs Essen. Wir fühlten uns sehr sicher, da es ein bewachtes Gelände ist. Unbedingte Empfehlung!

I stayed in the small cabin at Patiently Waiting in Drax Hall, and while the property itself is beautiful and had everything I needed pool, hottub, security. What truly made the experience unforgettable was Chris, the property manager.From the moment I arrived, Chris went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. He was incredibly accommodating, always available to answer questions, and quick to provide anything I needed during my stay. His warmth and genuine hospitality made me feel completely at home — it’s rare to find someone who cares so much about making a guest’s experience special.The cabin itself was cozy, well-equipped, and perfect for a relaxing stay, but Chris is the reason I’ll remember this trip so fondly. A Wonderful Stay in a Charming CottageMy daughter and I had a lovely stay in this charming cottage, set in beautifully maintained grounds. The peaceful surroundings, combined with access to a swimming pool, made it a perfect getaway. The beach is just a 5-minute walk away, and Ocho Rios town is only a 7-minute drive—very convenient for exploring the area. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely return the next time we’re in Ocho Rios.

Knus huisje. Chris was zeer behulpzaam. Als andere accomodatie verhuurd is mag je officieel niet het zwembad in. Dat stond niet bij het boeken. Gelukkig hebben wij er geen last van gehad, want er zat een hele aardige familie in. Dus wij hebben genoten. Strand was ook prima. Supermarkt ook vlakbij op km afstand

Second time around

We rented this cottage back in January for 5 weeks. We're back for 2.5 weeks and are still loving it. Chris the property manager is great and always comes through, whatever you need. The beach is 5 minutes walk away and has a wonderful restaurant with great food and service.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Patiently Waiting...the staff certainly have a lot of patience when responding to client's queries. The accommodation and grounds are well-kept and nothing was too much trouble for the site manager...truly dedicated to his role...I extended my stay by a few days...the team made me feel at home ...will be sad to leave. Enjoyable short break

We stayed just for 2 nights in the cottage. Accommodation was clean and tidy and the overall property is generally well kept even as some parts show that the villa is older in character. The villa is very secure, being on the private Mammee Bay Estate with controlled access road and also having secure locked gate at the entrance to the villa. Guests are provided an access card to enter nearby Bamboo Blu private beach, which also has a bar & restaurant. The food there is ok but overpriced for what it is. There are other accommodations at the same villa depending on size of your group. Although we were the only ones there when we stayed ( and so had use of the pool to ourselves!) if other parts of the villa are rented out you'd obviously be sharing the place with other guests - in terms of relaxing by the pool then in this situation, there are limited loungers/chairs. There are 2 hot tub jacuzzis on site though we didn't use them and they would have needed some time to warm up, even though Chris the property manager was more than willing to get one ready for us. Chris stays on site too so if you do have any issues he's usually available to help. Finally, it has to be said that this villa is very good value for money and is pitched just about right in terms of cost and what you get for it.

Private and quiet! Exactly what I was looking for.

Great place short walk to beach. You had to share the beach with the big resort guests spilling over from next door but there was always a lounger or spot available. Restraunt in beach had great food. Just a nice spot for some quiet relaxation.

Clean Quaint Property

Overall we had a good stay with small kitchenette and hot water. AC and fan. Wifi and tv for use. Safe gated area with lots of parking. Only complaints we had personally were cobwebs in corners, check in process is a little tricky with location, directions, and property manager required us to contact the local representative to tell him we booked the place. Location of property is in nature so there are lots of loud bugs during the night just FYI. Overall a decent stay for 1 night.

Family reunion

My brothers stayed in this cottage as the larger of the family stayed in the main house. It was great being close to everyone. It was as advertised. We hung out mostly at the main house with our extended family. Chris was great! He assisted us with transport, cooking and whatever was needed during our stay.

We found the property to be nice and clean. The only thing we didn't like is having to get in and out of the vehicle to open the gate. The gate is locked at all times with a padlock. We believe it's time to upgrade the locking system. Other than that we we're quite happy. Thank you Chris for your hospitality.

Amazing, quiet get away!

It is really refreshing to be in a natural environment filled with trees, flowers and the cool ocean breeze. The pool and 2 jacuzzi's are just the icing on the cake! Chris is a great host that frequently checks in and is very responsive to any of your needs!

It is located in a gated community with 24-hour security. the main tourist attractions in Jamaica. are only 10 minutes drive from our Cottage

i.e Dunns River Falls, Mystic Mountain, Dolphin Clove

Plus it is only 5 minutes walk away from one of the best beaches on the island. Mammee Bay Beach with the Bamboo Blu restaurant.

This beach is only used by Mammee Bay Estate residents, RIU residents also people who visit Jamaica by the Cruise Ships.

Mammee Bay Beach is listed as one of the best beaches in 2017 on the whole island of Jamaica, it is so stunning it is a must visit, according to free-list

It is a very airy rental also very private, the property also has a fully-equipped outdoor spa right next to the property

This property is different from other properties on the island due to its location there is a sense of beauty that is unexplainable.

There is also a restaurant called Bamboo Blu with a Jerk bar with a gym on this beach.

The sea water is a great medical help also great fun for the children, this is within 5 minutes walking distance away from our Cottage.

Why spend thousands of pounds or dollars vacating in Jamaica when you can spend only a small amount on accommodation plus have the security of a hotel but the freedom of a local person also the comforts of a tourist what more can you ask for.

This rental is fully loaded with wifi, sound system, with a personal kitchen along with a personal bathroom, air conditioning, cable tv.

We stay contact our guests even after they have made payment and have arrived in Jamaica because we want all our guests to be happy and return.
