Fantastic location and unit. The only issue was that the boardwalk to the beach was under repairs and closed during our entire stay. Highly recommended when all is working.

Condo 204 at Pine Cove was a wonderful property in which to spend a vacation. The property has everything you need in low density complex. Very convenient to all island activities and restaurants. Would definitely return.

Very clean and well decorated.

We have been coming to Sanibel for six years. This is our favorite condo so far. Only complaint is the pool, it needs a cooling system as it is too hot.

Excellent property!

We loved our stay at Pine Cove 204. The unit is very large for an island condo, plus it was fully updated, very well furnished and has an excellent ocean view from the lanai, kitchen and master bedroom. Parking is covered which is handy in rain, the pool is well kept and nicely heated and the location on west gulf drive is convenient for many reasons. The unit is very well stocked with every necessary kitchen appliance and tool plus beach towels, plus a locker below full of chairs and umbrellas. It was one of the best units we have seen in 20 years of visits.

My husband and I took our three grandkids and it was perfect for our needs. It actually is nicer in person than the pictures. The view is amazing and the pictures definitely don't do it justice. My only suggestion is, with a glass dining table that there be spray cleaner and that a small salt and pepper be provided as part of the started pack.

As for the salt and pepper, we stopped providing that due to covid and helping to prevent any additional spread or anything of the virus. Maybe going forward we will be providing that again the future.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed this unit after staying for several visits in the 2 BR units at Pine Cove. It was great to have the extra room. We were very pleased with everything with a couple of exceptions - the construction noise got annoying at times especially the first couple of days when roofers, landscapers and workers on the grill area were all making noise. There is one thing that needs repair - the tub drain in the master bath does not seal so does not hold water.The weather was perfect and our grandchildren loved the pool ad the beach. We stayed at Pine Cove most of the time but visited Tarpon Bay for fishing off a pontoon and Kayaking another day. And visited Wildlife Drive a couple of times. Plus our annual dinner at R.C. Otter's on Captiva which we all enjoy. (And we were fortunate that our flights went on time and were not cancelled!)

Beautiful and spacious three-bedroom condo

The apartment was modern, clean, spacious, and beautiful with an oversized master suite and two additional bedrooms. It has a beautiful and spacious kitchen opening up to a lovely dining area and comfortable living room. The wrap-around porch also provides a wonderful space for relaxation. The only thing that could have made the stay more convenient is if the ‘starter kit’ was a bit more generous. The kit provides a tiny bottle of liquid dish soap, 2 garbage bags (not quite large enough for the container), and two dishwasher pods, which is not enough for 6 people staying for a full week. Also, since the condo has so many glass tables, it would have been really helpful if a spray glass/all-purpose cleaner was provided. Please note that although the kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pans, pots, dishes, cutlery, etc., there are no other cooking essentials provided whatsoever (not even salt and pepper) – so you have to account for everything when you go shopping.

Condo was wonderful!!

We arrived early to the property. Knowing we couldn’t get into our condo until 4, we checked in to get parking pass and was told we could use pool/beach area until room was complete. We asked about bathroom facilities so we could change our clothes and was told there was a restroom to use. Upon arrival we looked around and discovered there is no pool bathroom to use. Another guest informed us of that. New to coming to Sanibel we didn’t know about the public beach access near the facility that Offers public restrooms and shower rinse off. The boardwalk was not complete when we arrived so we had to walk either near the street or through the wooded area to access beach. The website states that the completion of the boardwalk was to be completed. The hot tub didn’t work. It did get warmer but not warm enough to call it a hot tub. We called on that Saturday and was told it wouldn’t be fixed until at least Monday. The boardwalk was open back up on Monday (still under construction) which was nice!! The workers working on it let us use it during the final stages of completion. The lights around the pool at night were not on. Not sure if that had to do with the construction. The last full day at that condo there were a lot of vehicles. Landscaping around boardwalk and painting of the south stairwell was happening. We could not get into our parking space. (Also elevator was broken for a few hours which happens.) But painting during a busy holiday season is crazy and closing the stairwell! The condo itself was wonderful!! It had everything we needed for our stay. The place offers extra beach towels and plenty of beach chairs/toys in the storage unit. The only thing I needed and could not find was a broom or vacuum to use. The condo was fabulous!! We loved shelling as well!!

Beautiful Sanibel Condo

The condo was clean and beautiful. It was spacious enough for the six of us and the Gulf view from the balcony was a great place to have morning coffee. The condo was well appointed with nice furnishings and all of the essentials we needed. It was very nice to have use of the beach chairs and umbrellas also. We would definitely return to this same property and recommend it to anyone wanting to stay on Sanibel.
