Originally from Canada, I first came to Costa Rica on a vacation 30 years ago, instantly fell in love with my wife, the country, the people, and never looked back.

My wife Sarah and I spend many weekends here, with our three kids, and friends.

My favorite part of Costa Rica is the Hermosa Palms, which I discovered when I rented one of the homes that I currently own. This occurred 6 years ago. Up to now, I have acquired another 3 more homes in the same neighborhood. That’s how much I love the place. Naturally, I love to travel and see different places, study their culture and spend time with the people I encounter.

Besides traveling, I also enjoy hiking, running, and any type of fitness really. If you are into similar things and like to spend time in a natural setting, you will love everything Costa Rica has to offer. Some of the best national parks, hiking trails, and untouched beaches are just minutes away.

This quiet getaway nestled amidst the lush rainforest can host up to 12 guests in 3 bedrooms.

With access to a private bathroom, balcony with lounge furniture, and decoration in pastel colors, the master bedroom makes for the perfect spot for recovering after a long day at the beach. Hand-carved wood bed, antique finishes, and bold wall art create a refined atmosphere topped only by the amazing sea views. There is an additional sofa bed that sleeps one more guest in this room. The second bedroom includes a king-size bed, 2 double beds, all adorned by high-quality bed linen, and a sparklingly clean bathroom with a walk-in shower. The third bedroom has a custom-made rustic log queen-size bed introducing a natural touch in the interior. More custom log furniture with coffee table and chairs are to be found on the second, smaller balcony also overlooking the beach and ocean. 2 further bathrooms, one with a shower and another one without, are available so that larger groups of guests don’t need to worry about access to those facilities.

The open-plan living space boasts a simple and elegant design bringing out the natural decor and rustic accents. Bright and airy this amazing home has plenty of natural light coming in through the large sliding doors and windows. With an overlarge sofa surrounding a custom coffee table from natural wood overlooking the pool table and a further lounge area with coffee and dining table, this area seems to be uniquely designed with leisure and entertainment in mind.

However, bugs are a fact of life in Costa Rica and the Jungle, if that’s not looked at as given, Costa Rica might not be a place for you!

A comfy workstation with another natural wood chair seems to be kind of off-topic in this setting but would be highly appreciated by anyone who has some business tasks to tick off while away or simply in order to research and plan the best out of your vacation and the stunning surroundings.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you might need in case you are in the mood to cook. With all the cooking basics and utensils like dishes and silverware at hand plus a huge refrigerator, stove, cooking top, microwave, coffee maker, and dishwasher, you can simply do some good shopping and never get in the car again for your entire vacation The vintage finishes and granite countertops make you actually enjoy the entire routine of preparing a meal. Gather with your loved ones around the inviting dinner table or just chat out at the breakfast bar - no better way to spend quality time than thoughtfully curated space that simply lets you enjoy what you do.
Grab a coffee and wander through to the outdoor pool surrounded by lush greenery and palm trees acting as a natural extension of the interior. Lounge under the umbrella or dip in the refreshing waters of the pool - the entire backyard looks like a tiny resort amidst the rainforest. The tall trees and leafy plants will keep you safe from curious eyes but just in case there’s 24/7 security as well.

We have created this lovely home in order to satisfy our guests’ highest standards of comfort so we have also equipped it with a laundry room with a washer and dryer. We recommend that you bring sunblock and mosquito repellent as these are a necessity for the Costa Rican climate.
