Originally from Canada, I first came to Costa Rica on vacation 30 years ago. I instantly fell in love with the country, the people, and, most importantly, my wife. I never looked back.

My wife, Sarah, and I spend many weekends here with our three kids and friends.

My favorite part of Costa Rica is Hermosa Palms, which I discovered when I rented one of the homes that I now own. That was about 6 years ago. Since then, I have acquired three more homes in the same neighborhood. That is how much I love this place.

Naturally, I love to travel, discover new places, learn about different cultures, and spend time with the people I meet along the way.

Besides traveling, I also enjoy hiking, running, and fitness in general. If you enjoy the same things and like spending time surrounded by nature, you will love everything Costa Rica has to offer. Some of the best national parks, hiking trails, and untouched beaches are just minutes away.

A hand-carved wooden bed, antique finishes, bold wall art, and stunning ocean views make this room a standout space. There is also an additional sofa bed for one more guest.

The second bedroom features a king-size bed and two double beds, all dressed with quality linens, along with access to a sparkling clean bathroom with a walk-in shower. The third bedroom includes a custom-made rustic log queen-size bed that adds a natural touch to the space. More custom log furniture, including a coffee table and chairs, can be found on the smaller second balcony, which also overlooks the beach and ocean. Two additional bathrooms are available, one with a shower and one without, making the home comfortable for larger groups.

The open-plan living area features a simple, elegant design with natural decor and rustic accents throughout. Bright and airy, the home receives plenty of natural light through large sliding doors and windows. An oversized sofa surrounds a custom natural wood coffee table, creating a relaxed space for gathering. The pool table and additional lounge area with a coffee and dining table make this room ideal for leisure and entertainment.

There is also a comfortable workstation with a natural wood chair, perfect for anyone who needs to handle a few business task.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need if you feel like cooking during your stay. It includes cooking basics, dishes, silverware, a large refrigerator, stove, cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, and dishwasher. With vintage finishes and granite countertops, even preparing a simple meal becomes part of the experience. Gather with your loved ones around the inviting dining table or enjoy a casual conversation at the breakfast bar. It is a thoughtfully designed space made for comfort, connection, and quality time.

Step outside with your morning coffee and enjoy the private pool, surrounded by lush greenery and palm trees. We created this home with our guests’ comfort in mind, which is why it also includes a laundry room with a washer and dryer. We recommend bringing sunscreen and mosquito repellent, as both are very useful in Costa Rica’s tropical climate.
