Culver City Quick Trip

Although we didn’t stay at the room much during our trip to Culver City, hung out with family at their home, it was a great place to sleep at every night. Pretty quiet, comfortable bed and a nice little coffee set up for the morning. Great communication and easy parking at all times during the day. The only note I would make is that the parking pass is expired by a year but we seemed to avoid any tickets.

Had everything we needed close to all the attractions and places we wanted to visit and everything from check-in the check-out went smoothly. Also probably should’ve been noted that their was a crumble cookie across the road, very tempting.

There was a little confusion at first because I didn’t realize the host would send the last minute details in an email (I don’t ever check my emails on vacation). She did answer right away to my call, explained their process (there is a form that must be signed prior to getting the code), and text me the instructions. Once we were in it was easy peazy. Very cute place in a perfect location. Beautiful neighborhood.

Super cute and comfortable. Bed was very comfy. Such nice attention to details with extra toiletries provided if we’d forgotten something and nice to have a microwave and mini fridge. Could hear neighbors but it wasn’t a problem, and ear plugs were provided if we’d needed them. Would totally stay here again.

Long weekend!

Cute space in older building. We enjoyed being able to walk to a couple places- Ralph’s, crumble cookie and old fields. This was centrally located to Santa Monica and the UCLA campus, convenient for our outings this weekend. Also appreciated having free parking! Thank you for sharing your space!

Nice spot relatively close to UCLA which is where we spent all of our time!

I had slight difficulty using the VRBO app. It took a long time to load this making communication slow and difficult with our renters. The place looks exactly like the pictures!

Great Location. Right next to a Ralphs. Quick access to the west side. great communication and quite easy to use the code to get inside. Street parking was right up front. Upstairs neighbors sounded like they were moving an anvil around a few times but overall no worries. :) Room was quite clean. Only window the room is behind the bed so the space is a bit dark.

Perfect except for the noise

This property was ideal; except that the upstairs neighbors had loud music starting at 10pm. Ear plugs were provided; but they didn’t do much good.

Replenishment items such as toilet paper. We received 2 and 1/2 rolls of toilet paper. When asked if we could have 1 more toilet paper we were told that is all we get. I apologize for needing a little more…We had the same towels for 7 days. We left after 6 because I ended up in the Emergency Department after a fall and requested if we could check out 2 hours later. I fell and have a fractured pelvis. I would not recommend this place to anyone who cannot understand that sometimes we cannot stay within the colored lines.

Home away from home

My husband and I found this studio to be comfortable, attractive, and very convenient for visiting family in LA with access to family friendly restaurants, the wonderful Village Well bookstore, fun sights to see such as the La Brea Tar Pits and Warner Bros Studio tour (transportation required).We enjoyed being in a neighborhood rather than a hotel as in our previous three trips to LA. The close proximity of grocery, pharmacy, and rental car establishments was very convenient...even a luggage store where I found the perfect half-size rolling suitcase to tuck under Delta seats or stow easily overhead, giving my previous two handled carry-on to my granddaughter for her stuffies. Latefah, the owner was kind and responsive, but not intrusive. One bedside table included the brilliant addition of a white noise machine...super helpful for coping with snoring from either spouse. I found a pair of handy scissors to cut the tag off my new sunhat. Very thoughtful touches. We were happy to be invited to enjoy her home again on future trips and we certainly hope to do so.
