Perfect little get away in a cozy cabin. Wrap around porch with hot tub is perfect for just enjoying the fresh air in between sight seeing. Owners were very responsive to questions and all around just kind. 10 minute drive to some of our favorite fishing spots. We enjoyed our little weekend get away and can’t wait to get back.

The cabin itself was very nice. The grill was extremely dirty though and nothing to scrub it down with. The hot tub being a timer and rattling out on the deck 24/7 was rather annoying. Due to drier conditions all of the outside furniture and porches were covered in dirt. The LARGE amount of traffic that drives by all day and evening didn't help. We did get a shower on Saturday which helped that a little but I think the level of traffic was a bit much.

When we pulled up and saw the location we almost went back home, and would have if the drive wasn’t over 3 hours. The pictures were very deceiving. The cabin is surrounded by trailers, the furniture was most likely found on the side of the road, no propane for the grill, mattresses and pillows were way past the expiration date! This is our 3rd stay in the area since March and the worst!

Comfy, Cozy, and Fun!

The pictures didnt disappoint when walking into this beautiful cabin! Instantly, the kids found the toys, games, and cornhole just waiting dor them. The deck had such a magical feel with the bubble lights floating atop. The backyard firepit and swing was also lit by those beautiful lights, setting the perfect ambience for the evenings. Magical! This cabin is set up! They had Coffee, Sugar, creamer and every utinsel/pot and pan you could think of. Muffin tins, mixers, collanders, you name it. I absolutely loved the gas stove, and decided to cook all our dinners at the cabin instead! This cabin was perfect for our family getaway. It was the perfect distance from town. Kept enough traffic away, but only minutes to town. It is located off a dirt/gravel drive and the traffic wasnt that bad. The only con i could say would be the internet not working, but thats okay because we try not to spend a lot of time on tvs and phones when were on vacation!

Just ok, but no privacy, and pictures / description are kind of misleading.

I found the pictures to be very misleading. It looks, from the pictures, to be very private. It is in fact, not at all private. There are houses on all sides of the property. The back porch, where the hot tub is, faces a house that is only a few yards away as well as a road with fairly regular traffic. If you don't mind sitting out on the porch or getting the hot tub and having everyone driving down the road see you as they drive by, then it won't be a problem for you. The pictures are taken in such a way as to give the illusion of privacy where there really is none. That is my biggest issue with the property. They do have screens that come down and kinda cover two sides of it, but if you don't want people to see you in your bathing suit getting out or going into the house, then this may not be for you because the houses and road are very close by. The cabin, on the inside, is nice. However, even here there is some misleading information. The cabin is not truly 2 bathrooms. There are two water-closets (sink and toilet) connected by a kind of hallway where the one bathtub/shower is. So there are two toilets and one bathtub/shower. Wasn't really an issue for me but again, the listing says 2 bathrooms and if you have 4 people all waiting on one shower, that could be problem. The shower/tub combo is very deep. So those with limited mobility or balance issues, may want to steer clear. The kitchen was well stocked and nice. One of the lamps in the master bedroom didn't work and several windows didn't have screens on them. So if you wanted to open a window for some fresh air, tough luck unless you want bugs coming in. Generally the cabin is comfortable and well appointed though. It is also very close to beaver's bend park and Hochatown. So the location is nice. I did also notice the scent of sewage both nights when out in the hot tub on the porch. Not sure if one of the houses all around had a septic tank that needed to be emptied or what, but it wasn't a pleasant. I'm sure many would enjoy staying here, but for me it was misrepresented and a bit disappointing especially for the price. There are other nicer, cheaper, cabins in the area that I've stayed at that weren't available the weekend I visited. Your mileage may vary.

Had a great stay

It was exactly as expected. Was a little worried about it after reading the reviews but we had a great time. Cabin was nice. Beds were super comfortable. Road is very busy but we were expecting that from previous reviews. All in all was a fabulous time and great experience. They have added a privacy fence for hot tub privacy as well and that was nice.

Something out of the movie Deliverance!

The inside of the property, other than the roaches, was JUST ok. It was pretty clean on the INSIDE. That's the best of this review. The outside was a disgusting embarrassment! I was stunned when I drove up because it looked NOTHING like the photos. When I had to walk over/around a 12' long blue metal roof tile laying in front of the deck just to get to the fire pit that is a dangerous mess with no lighting to get there, I was blown away that nobody had bothered to clean this nasty place up for us! The busy dirt road is literally less than 10 yards from the door with people flying down the potholed road at breakneck speeds, constantly leaving you in a super dust bowl, you realize someone wasn't being completely truthful about this property, so I will. The hot tub was okay but missing all the pieces that make it comfortable, and there was NO privacy around us to give us the comfort to use it. Yeah, they had tacky little shades to pull down, but they were useless with all the other problems. There were dirt dobber nest everywhere on the porch, so we were constantly chased by bees. The deck was too tall with no step, so if you're elderly, there is NO way you can manage this property by yourself. I actually turned my ankle stepping off the deck to go to my vehicle because of the rock path and steep step off the deck. Whomever took the property photos sure knew how to use a camera to make this place look a lot better than it was. There wasn't even a STREAM that they talk about! Nothing but dry rock bed between the deck and the trashy back yard of the neighboring house which is your view from your deck. They washed the deck and made it appear that there was water, but trust me, there was no place for it to go if the stream did have water in it. If you're looking for privacy, peace and quiet, in an out of the way place ... KEEP LOOKING! This is NOT any of that. It is BY FAR the worst place I've ever booked on line.
