Thank you for the review, Dixie. The view is exactly as shown in the photos on the listing as these were recently taken from our first floor unit. The blinds in the bedrooms are all functional, as you must push and hold the button on the bottom of each to raise and lower. (I would have been happy to walk you through the process had you reached out.) I did find one latch on one of the lower cabinets that I did have to replace. The others were checked for tightness. Pleased that you liked the bathrooms. Both were completely renovated in January 2024.

Sorry you feel that way. The bed is a queen and a King. They are both Sleep Number mattresses. Yes, I do have Glade air fresheners for guests. We have never received a complaint. Thanks for the feedback though regarding sensitivities to fragrance. If you would have contacted us directly we would have encouraged you to remove them. With the issues you mention, we would have appreciated your contacting us directly at some point during your extended weeks stay, so we could have been responsive and addressed your concerns then, instead of hearing after the stay and in this forum. We are always responsive to our guests.

This home is indeed rented for February/March. They are return satisfied guests. I'll stand by the pictures on VBRO and the other reviews of previous guests. I do provide my personal cell number to each guest, although this guest chose to communicate completely by email. I responded to what I could, made note of things to look at for the future and realized after multiple days, it was not going to ever satisfy this particular guest completely. This guest asked for a discount before they booked, when they booked and at check out. Each time an issue was brought up, a discount was asked for. Yes, I called VBRO on the first day the guest was there. Not to "tell my side" as the guest states, but to inquire how to handle a guest stating that they were moving furniture around for personal preference. I was concerned about potential damage. This particular guest had "issues" with many items that again go back to personal preference. As far as the "with much paraphernalia", we pride ourselves on stocking our condo with all the things that guests of ALL ages would ever need or want, i.e., toiletries, spare towels, sheets, blankets, etc. Spare toilet paper was in the hall closet to leave room under sinks for other items guests bring. The 3 new HDTV flat screens all work fine. I have in the past walked guests through how to use the remotes with a simple phone call. The faucets are equipped with water saver flow control. We are environmentally friendly. As to the toilets, one of them was running because the handle had been snapped off inside. It has been repaired. The kitchen faucet is a "stream/rainwater" faucet. The button was snapped off and it was stuck on the "rainwater" setting. I repaired it. The dining room chairs do make noise when they are dragged across the tile floor, not unusual with this type of flooring. As far as communication goes, previous reviews show that we are responsive, especially when it's an issue that requires immediate attention. We take all constructive feedback seriously and make updates accordingly. My wife & I are disappointed with the tone that this guest used from the time of their arrival right through to this review. We're still very proud of our track record on VBRO and the pleasure that our guests have shown us in our previous reviews, and our multiple repeat guests. Unfortunately, we can't satisfy every taste. Our photos are current and do reflect the overall quality of the condo.

Hi Keith, Thank you for the review. I went in the unit after you left. The couches have no feet, not sure what's missing there. The "missing" feet (4 of them) from the bar stools were sitting on the counter next to the Guest Guide I had left there for your stay. They are now back on the bar stools where they belong. The cabinet was broken by a previous guest and has just been repaired as that had to be scheduled.

Thank you for your review! I see you are a first time traveller on VBRO. Yes, in these times of COVID, it is appreciated that everyone take out their own trash and wash the towels, as we do not provide daily maid service with VBRO. (I'd recommend the Hampton Inn 1/2 mile away, if that's what you are looking for.) The window shades work fine. I live here. You have to push a button on them and pull at the same time. (They are 2 years old.) The tape on the bottom of the OUTSIDE of the windows is hurricane waterproof tape which we put in place this time of year. (As you said, we are RIGHT on the beach.) That should not have impacted your stay. Sorry if it did. (It can't be seen from the inside.) The chains on the bikes are rusty because they have been taken down to the beach, but they do work fine. I do take exception with the word "grime". Please provide pictures so I can ensure that my cleaning crew takes care of any of this. I stand by my photos on VBRO. I was in the unit before your arrival and saw no evidence of "grime" anywhere. You had my contact information. Communication on any concerns during your stay would have been appreciated, rather than lobbing a generic review after the fact. Just an FYI for your second stay on VBRO. Thank you!
