Unsere Kabine ist mit dem Schlafraum verfügbar, es besteht die Möglichkeit, 11 zu schlafen !!

Die Hauptkabine verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer (2 Queensize-Betten und ein Futon) mit voll ausgestatteter Küche, Wohnzimmer, separatem Essbereich und Bad. Ein kleiner Waschtrockner ist ebenfalls vorhanden.

Extra große Terrasse mit Blick auf den See! Benutzung des Docks, Kanus und Kajaks inklusive. Grill auf der Terrasse sowie eine Terrasse (Sofas UND Tisch mit Stühlen), damit Sie Ihre Gesellschaft draußen genießen können!

Der Nationalpark West Glacier und Glacier ist nur wenige Kilometer entfernt. Bringen Sie Ihre Fahrräder und Wanderschuhe mit, um den Park und alles, was er zu bieten hat, zu genießen!

Lake Five ist einer der wärmsten und saubersten Seen der Welt. Hier können Sie schwimmen, surfen, Ski fahren oder Wake-Board!

I wish we didn't live so far away or I would book a week here every year. The deck and view are absolute perfection and the house is the perfect old school lake cabin feel while being amazingly clean and comfortable. And the location is less than 10 minutes from Apgar Village.

Wonderful property and location on Lake 5, extremely close to West Glacier entrance. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there and relaxing on the wonderful deck. Unfortunately, early in the week, the only shower sprung a leak into the bedroom and was not able to be fixed by the time we left, which was an unfortunate inconvenience, but otherwise the property was excellent.

The location of the property was great for exploring Glacier National Park! The cabin was beautiful and so were the views! It was clean and the host was very friendly and communication was great. The cabin had met all of our needs. We would definitely stay again!

Most beautiful scenery of our whole trip was on Lake Five

The cabin is small, but well equipped. We found everything we needed and then some. I especially enjoyed the view from the deck, which is spectacular, and also the kayaks. We toured around the park, but the best two photos I took were both on Lake Five

Summer vacation

My family of four had a lovely little stay at the lake cabin. It was a great base for exploring Glacier National Park. It was HOT out when we visited. Proximity allowed us to hike and explore the park in the mornings and relax in and by the water in the evenings. Overall a great place for a family getaway!

Loved it!

Our stay at your cabin really made our trip. It was so relaxing to come back to your cabin at the end of the day and relax on the deck and take a swim in the lake. The cabin was close enough to Glacier that one day we came back mid-day to go kayaking on the lake, then go back into Glacier later in the day to go hiking. Our stay was perfect. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful Place to Stay!!!

Can't say enough about how relaxed we were at this property. The views from the fire pit deck extending to the water were probably our favorite. We also really enjoyed using the kayaks! We loved cooking as well with the very functional kitchen and grill outside - we ate every meal out on the deck! Thanks for the great week!

Great location

Great base of operations for our vacation to Glacier. Beautiful view from the deck. Washer/dryer and dishwasher were very nice to have. Could have been cleaner.

Unbelievably beautiful setting!

The location of this cabin couldn’t be better! And that huge deck overlooking the lake made it hard to leave to explore Glacier National Park. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and had more spaces than I expected. Room for many! The owners were wonderful to work with. All around excellent experience!

Wonderful place on the lake

We loved this place! It’s just a short drive to Glacier and has an amazing view of the lake! We used the canoe, paddle board and kayak, went hiking and saw the sights in Glacier and were only a short drive to fly fishing on the Flathead River. The cabin has everything you need, biggest drawback is the very small bathroom if you have a larger group. We wish we could stay longer and hope to be back soon!!

Beautiful setting, very lovely deck. Unfortunately it rained our first 2 days, so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor amenities as much as we would have liked. We had a couple of seniors with us and we were all able to stay here comfortably. We took the master bedroom that overlooks the lake. It had a small step down that was a bit of a tripping hazard to be aware of. The expanded futon was more comfortable with the addition of a twin mattress on top. There was some evidence of mice in the past, but we didn’t see any while we were there. Host was very communicative when we experienced a brief planned power outage. Loved having all the comforts of home so close to gorgeous Glacier NP! Many thanks to our host for providing wine, coffee, and a good stock of all the essentials!

Spectacular

We had such a lively time here. The deck was amazing! We spent as much time as possible on it. The amenities were great I have never kayaked before and now I live it! We traveled with 3 other families but they had campers Just a few minutes away. They cam for dinner one evening and all loved the deck as well! We really hope to come back and stat again! We celebrated my mom’s 80th birthday. I brought some specialty pans and a roaster for cooking. The cabin is set up with most commonly used items. Improvising was worth a giggle now and again and I wouldn’t change it! Highly recommend this location! The water is so beautifully clear. Swim shoes if you have super tender feet like me.

Great Stay on Lake Five

We loved our stay here. It was great to go out and explore all day and come back and relax on the deck. Everything was as described. Check in was easy and it was not hard to find. The lake was warm (by Montana standards, probably around 75). We were caught up in the Delta flight issues for our intitial dates and Lyndsey was awesome. When it became clear we werent going to make it after sitting at the airport all day, she found a couple other dates that would work and allowed us to reschedule (didn't have to). Thank you so much! We will definitely be back and have had a few people already ask us for details.

Glacier vacation

We booked this for our base while visiting Glacier National Park, close to the park and peaceful. It was such a great place to unwind after hiking. Thank you for providing the bear spray! We took it along on the Highline Trail where we came across a bear 30 yards away! Luckily it ran when we yelled at it. The cabin was well stocked, clean, and we absolutely loved the deck. We did not use the TV. The Wi-Fi worked very well for our phones. Thank you sharing your mountain cabin with us. If we are able to come back, it will be the first place we look to book for our stay.

Perfect Stay

We so enjoyed our stay at the cabin on Lake Five! The porch was so dreamy - it was everything we wanted and more. Looked like all brand new furniture, and had a nice sturdy umbrella. The glass panels made the lake views stellar and we loved sitting out here having coffee or a glass of wine. We did also end up using the kayaks once and enjoyed it! The place itself was nice, nothing fancy but the living and kitchen areas were spacious and well-stocked. There wasn’t anything we looked for that we couldn’t find - spices, pans, foil, etc. The bedroom we stayed in had a nice view of the lake, and with the boats making waves during the day that crash up on the shore right below the window, made for a perfect nap space! We would absolutely stay here again if we returned, and would recommend to others.

Most beautiful view in GNP!

Excellent cottage on the water. One of the most beautiful views there is! And great for the price! Excellent communication with owner also! Superb actually…. We loved that the kitchen, it had everything, even plastic bags, extra garbage bags, and even dryer sheets and pods for washer!!! The lake was absolutely beautiful with the deck on the water. My son said there was a special grill for breakfast out there also and a normal grill. Only used the normal grill… Kayaks and canoe to use for water….not good for fishing, that’s if you’re looking to fish….but many places around there to fish. Also Excellent place for elders while u hike because they have every channel on tv which was great for mom!

Good, but room for improvements.

Pros: The property was beautiful and supplied so many water activity supplies: canoe, kayak, life jackets ect. Cons: 1/3.. the A/C didnt work the whole trip so we slept with the windows open in an 80 degree cabin. 2/3There were also no curtains in the majority of cabin and it was a lake house. Surrounded by windows and the feeling of little privacy. 3/3 the overall cleaning was a little less than satisfying. The shower drain was glogged internally and externally with hair, the tub had a thick gray ring of mildew, there were no bathroom trashbags to be found and nothing in the trashcan. A lot of the cookwear had the non-stick coating scratched thru so everything stuck to the pans. I do want to give the cleaner some grace because we arrived earlier than expected and I believe she tried to help us out by trying to get done sooner so that we could check in early.

Hi Amber! Thrilled you enjoyed your time in our little slice of heaven. There is no Air Conditioning (not advertised as such either) when the cleaners showed up you had the furnace fan running. We do supply fans in all rooms:) We also opted not to blinds on the living room windows, wouldn’t want to block that view. It’s stunning to look out at the lake all day! There are blinds in the bedrooms where privacy really matters. We also replace our cookware every two years there - sadly not everyone knows how to cook with them properly. I’m shocked to hear about the cleanliness too of our cabin. These cleaners we hire are literally the best in the valley. My guess is you’re right - they felt a little rushed.

Great location

We stayed here for 3 nights in June with our 2 young kids. Only 5 minutes from the West entrance to Glacier NP. However, the drive to the house is a narrow one-way lane but cars use the road to go both ways so every time we drive in or out we prayed nobody is coming our way. The description in the listing has a room with a futon but I personally think it is more like a closet than a room. I used that room to put the kids luggage and use it as their dressing room as the room in the back is far too small. Please be aware this property has a low ceiling. My husband is 6 foot 4 and he has bumped his head on the door frame at least 5 times during our stay. My kids and I have no problems with it. Our kids loved the deck and the kayaks. My 7 year old was out there all day either kayaking, swimming, playing with rocks or fishing. I think with this property, the location and large deck is the selling point. The cabin is older and small and nothing to shout about. Most of the dock is under water and the TV didn't work when we were there. That didn't stop the kids from having fun but I wished it was better maintained. If you are looking for a place close to the Glacier NP on the lake but doesn't mind the tight quarters in the cabin, this is for you!

Perfect location but......

First off we had a great time in West Glacier and the location of the property was so convenient to the park. The property was a little more than we like to spend but the lake and the big deck sold us. It was magnificant! That being said I would like to give some constructive feedback to the owners. When we got there it had not been cleaned properly. There was what appeared to be dog hair on the couch, dust on the furniture, the refrigerator had not been wiped out and the bathroom counter needed to be wiped down. The hand soap in the kitchen and bathroom were empty. It took a while but we finally found the remote in top cupboard in the kitchen-not sure why it was there but we also were unable to get the TV to work and my husband and son are both pretty techy. As noted in another review there was a plastic protective covering on the mattress but the real issue we determined in the master bedroom was the box spring. We thought the creaking/noise every time one of us would move woke up the other was from the plastic. We removed the plastic but it continued. The mattress is very comfortable but the box spring is what creaked loudly with every move. I would suggest getting a new one. The deck furniture cushions need to be replaced as well. There were 3 benches but only one bench had complete cushions and was usable. Making sure the propane for the fire table would be another suggestion. The property is older but with a little bit more attention to the details it would be a wonderful place and I could then give it all 5's.
