Relaxing, tiny cabin in the woods over a beautiful lake

Our Ragin' Cajun Cabin is the perfect spot for a relaxing, outdoorsy stay! Whether you like glamping or tiny homes or fishing or romancing or just "hangin' out", this is going to be your favorite place. This cozy cabin is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom, den with sleeper sofa, climate-controlled home. You can get away from it all here! There are three levels of decking down to the water, where you can swim or fish or lay in the sun. The back deck has a charcoal grill; the front yard has a fire pit with wood supplied. A fast-moving creek is near and you can hike all of our 35 acres. You will see lots of wildlife to add to your adventure.

Weekend getaway.

An easy and quick drive from Nashville. Great place to slow down and relax. Enjoyed grilling on the deck overlooking the water and fishing the pond. Host was great and very accommodating.

Beautiful four-night stay for a solo older female traveller winding down from big city life. Fished every morning with great success, hiked, saw the stars at night, enjoyed the fire pit, and thoroughly enjoyed the sights and sounds of nature. The local restaurants are sweet and country. The nearby Country View Amish market owner, Brad, set me up with grocery supplies for doing no cooking. The property management is very female friendly. I hope to go back. I loved the place.
One of the many fish I caught (catch and release) from the cabin's private dock. So much fun.

Beautiful

What a gem! Cute cottage tucked away on a beautiful piece of property. It was quiet and romantic with amazing fall views. It made the last part of our anniversary trip extra special. Check in and all directions from the host perfect.

Post Wedding Getaway

We needed a place to stay after the night of our wedding so that our wedding guest would not bother us at the hotel. This was perfect! It was a quaint little cabin that met our needs perfectly. Had we been there longer we would of loved to use the other amenities and enjoy the cabin more.

Relaxing Cabin Close to it All!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Rajun Cajun Cabin. We loved the many diverse outdoor activities that the location offered and yet being close to different sightseeing opportunities. The cabin was the right size and had what we needed. The only thing I would say is that we were disappointed to see that the paddle boat had to be rented per day, and although the location was a cat fish farm previously, we did not find any! But overall we had a nice getaway!

Beautiful and peacefull get away

We loved our stay. Very peaceful. We used the paddle boat one of the days. The lake has some big fish that came to the edge for a little bit. We had friends over with 2 little boys and used the barbeque and later had a bonfire to make s'mores. The kids loved the the experience as well even though it was only a visit. I will definetly come back. Paula was very helpful and attentive if we needed anything.
