Großartige Lage - nur 1 km südlich des Geschäftsviertels Topsail Beach mit Restaurants, Geschäften, Weinbar, Angelpier, Rollschuhlaufen, Minigolf, Raketenmuseum und Gemeinschaftspark. Wir sind haustierfreundlich mit vorheriger Haustiergenehmigung und einer Haustiergebühr von 75 USD pro Haustier (Einschränkungen gelten - bitte geben Sie den Typ und die Anzahl der Haustiere in Ihrer Anfrage an).

Good stay

The place was very clean/well kept. Other than the weather not cooperating with our stay (rain every day but not all day) the only down side to our stay was the deck wasn’t high enough to get a good view of the breakers. I would stay there again.

Great location

My family had a nice stay. The property is directly on the beach and had a nice deck with views. Beds were comfortable, appliances worked well. A/C could of worked a little better but we were outside most of the time anyway. Little shops, putt putt, and the pier were in walking distance. Great beach!

Cute cottage

This is our second year staying at wall cottage. We were happy to see the couch, and walkway to the dunes were updated, and a little surprised to see the bedroom had twin beds and not the double bed we were told was still there. Bring 2 twins and a full set of sheets if you stay in south cottage. We absolutely love Topsail beach, great family oriented, quaint, small town beach vibe feel.

Our Stay at Topsail Beach - Wall Cottage

We had a wonderful week at the beach! The cottage is adorable...perfect for a couple or a small family, and it's pet friendly which is perfect for us! The fact that it's oceanfront is amazing and the main reason why we chose it! It's nicely decorated and well appointed...very cozy. Had everything we needed! The only thing missing are a couple stands or small tables to put a drink and remotes on in the living room! We loved it and the customer service from Myers Realty was excellent. We'll be back!

Good location, cramped quarters, uncomfortable

The bedrooms were very small, too small to be considered bedrooms. Beds and furniture were uncomfortable. You cannot move around the beds. Air conditioning is very loud.

Oceanside with no ocean view

Perfect small little cottage for 2 best friends at the ocean. Great place to stay if you are going to be at the beach all day. Cute littel kitchen with a table to eat in. The porch is comfy- but the dune is so large you cannot see the ocean. Luckily the property management is going to do some renovations and refurbising. it needed it. We look forward to seeing how it will look in spring 2023.

House needs TLC but great beach access!

The last step on the stairs going to the beach was missing which made it hard to go up and down the stairs. The couch/futon was broken and very uncomfortable to sit or sleep on. A dead cockroach was found in the house. Location to beach was great but it was a far drive to restaurants and no place would deliver to the house. Time on the beach was very much enjoyed.

Quaint Place to Rest Your Head

Let me start by saying this place is an original 4 bed 2 bath home that was converted to 2- 2 bed 1 bath duplexes. With that being said, it is quaint, it is enough and it is livable. My family of 4 stayed for a week with no "room to move issues". We had beds to sleep on and a tv to watch after a long day of sight seeing and beaching it. Per the previous reviews, the stove is now in a working order, a $40 part from the local lowes and dinners were made without an issue. There is a small list that of items that need attention and as such I have been in contact with the rental company. We tried to fix what we could as we were there so as to save from further disrepair and in hope that the next renters have an easier stay. I would love to visit this home again in the future as it fit our needs just fine.

Inspection

I had read the reviews from this property hoping the property managers would take note of the reviews and make adjustments accordingly. When we arrived, the home looked cute and tidy. Here is the message I sent to the property owner. We are enjoying our stay. I do need to address a few things about the home that need to be look at for the next renters. 1. The dining room chairs do wiggle and come apart at the base. I pushed them back in but probably need to be gorilla glued and screwed together. 2. The sofa/futon is not stable and sinks on the right side by the front window. I looked at it and it has a bolt that slips out of its socket. 3. You might want to re-evaluate the cleaning service. A dead cockroach was in one of the draws in the kitchen. The utensil draw was full of crumbs and many of the pans had remains of food. I scrubbed and cleaned everything. And the dining room chairs had food and spills on the legs. I wiped them off. But your cleaning service needs to be re-evaluated and possibly monitored. 4. FYI the cabinets were so disorganized, I rearranged them so the next renters could maneuver the kitchen better. 5. The stove has rusted drip pans and the large burner is cracked and only heats partially on one side. I covered the drip pans with heavy duty foil until you can replace them. I just bring these things to your attention so that you can improve your quality for future renters.

Vintage beach cottage

The cottage has a fantastic location! But it’s very small and I would not have more than 3 people. It worked fine for us as we had another larger house so we just slept here. The stocking of kitchen items is very limited and many items needed some maintenance but we still loved the location, beach access ! If you want old and vintage this would be a great place to stay.

A LOVELY BEACH

We were not expecting much from this property, just easy access to the beach, a deck or porch with an ocean view, and a comfortable place to have our meals and sleep as the property was described in the VRBO listing. Both the pictures and the listing accurately described the property at the time the pictures were taken. The beach is wide and absolutely beautiful and the easy access was the prime reason for selecting this property. Actually the beach access was acceptable after we shovelled about a ton of sand off of the steps. The railing along the beach access which appears to be in fine condition in the photos has seen it better days and is close to falling down in places. The photos also accurately show a lovely view of the beach and the ocean, unfortunately from our side of the duplex the view is a sand dune. I want go into a lot of detail about the inside of the property but will list items that need attention. The kitchen was ok, adequately supplied and functional for a beach rental. The washer/dryer did not work at first but we found the circuit breaker box where it was turned off. There is no Dead Bolt Lock or chain lock on the entrance door, entrance could be easily obtained using a credit card. There is no Thermostat for temperature control anywhere to be found. Our first night was very cold. Myers sent someone the next day to turn on the heat and it was warm after that, part of the time both the heat and the window A/C units were running at the same time. The property was not adequately cleaned but I can’t describe it as dirty. The air return in the sitting area was filthy. The room with the queen bed requires the person sleeping on the wall side to walk sideways to get in bed and the AC cord is stretched under the bed across the floor. A trip hazard but it would be difficult to fall anywhere but onto the bed. We were unable to wash sand off when returning from beach as water had been turned off. Myers sent someone to turn in on and found the pipe had frozen and burst. In summary: We were very uncomfortable and decided to leave early. In my opinion the property is poorly maintained and overpriced. Myers was very cooperative and pleasant to deal with; we spoke to them on Wednesday to explain why we would be leaving Thursday morning. She apologized and explained that we were the first to rent the property this year and said they would issue a partial credit to our card. There has been none as of this date.

it really needed to be cleaned! had to launder the mattress cover - visibly stained! mold on shower curtain liner :( . owners should look into replacing living room furniture. beds were very comfy! would rent again, but would prefer it be clean. especially since I paid a steep cleaning fee.

When we arrived for our stay we were beyond excited. We had our dogs with us and were right on the beach. The location was perfect. The second night we were there, an outlet started sparking. The fire department needed to stabilize part of the electric which meant we lost access to the fridge for the night. This happened at 11pm and the realtor company responded immediately. They reimbursed us for the food that went bad and an electrician was there right at 8am the next day. The property itself could use some updates. There was a part of the floor that was boarded and covered with rug and the outside lighting didn’t work. We also found a clear retainer that did not belong to us on the floor. However, the property location was perfect and it was a great experience.

The price & location are excellent! South end of Topsail is perfect for families and laid back lifestyle. This property is rough... The keybox didn't work, the furniture is really uncomfortable (cute though). Not very secure so bugs got in. AC was good in 2 rooms, but not in queen size room. Washer & dryer worked great. There was unidentified stains on shower curtain. There is missing flooring in the kitchen. And busted lamp. But for just hanging on the beach, it worked for me. Next time I'll look for a better rated beachfront rental.

It's a duplex that is in the process of being updated - until that's done, it feels like a bachelor pad. There really needs to be a shop vac so the renter can vacuum the sand and dog hair - the broom and dust pan just don't cut it. The counter cannot be cleaned effectively as the grout is uneven and missing in places. The plus is being directly on the beach and being able to bring the fur babies - if that's your need, want, desire, and 2 beds is enough - go for it!
