Everything was lovely we had a great time - only issues were that the place was a tad dusty and the vacuum cleaner wasn’t very effective; can appreciate that being on the coast it is hard to keep clean all the time. We still had a lovely time and we would come again!

The house was full of cobwebs and dust and the upstairs bed was for some reason, on wheels, which were then placed on plastic coasters (presumably to stop from moving around), which was the most uncomfortable and noisy bed I’ve ever stayed in. Any little movement made a loud noise which was heard in the downstairs room directly beneath. This heavily tainted an otherwise pleasant stay.

Wonderful girls weekend away

Lovely quiet location with ocean views from the living area and balcony. Walking distance to central Airey's Inlet. Accommodated 5 adults easily with comfortable beds. Highlights included a raucous game of table tennis and relaxing in front of the roaring fireplace.

Good location

Good location with good size rooms. Fairly clean. Table tennis a hit. Feedback would be for the owner to replace the flyscreen door and blinds upstairs where the doors leads to the patio.

Perfect view

A great spacious house in quiet court close to Aireys inlet shops. Comfy beds and everything you need. A great view from upstairs lounge. The birds came to visit each morning sitting up on verandah. We will hopefully stay again.

Nice property in good location

The property itself is spacious, comfortable and well-appointed and in a good location with good views of the coastline. Property management isn’t at the same standard however with hidden fees charged and not even basics like toilet paper and tea towels provided. Also needs a good clean - especially the bathrooms.

Hi Fiona, thanks for your feedback. The total cost of the booking including fees is listed before you booked the property, and are also included in the rental agreement that we sent you. Only doonas and pillows are provided, all other linen needs to be hired or brought down yourself, this is also listed on the advertisement of the property.

The house does require some maintenance, sliding door hard to move, couldn't get wifi working and door to 3rd bedroom was locked? Nice house just needs more upkeep

As discussed with your wife on the phone, the internal door to the third bedroom was mistakenly locked by the owners, thankfully it less than 10 minutes to get the matter rectified so it really wasn't a great convenience to you. As I had already spoken to you if you had mentioned the wifi I would have offered you assistance in getting in connected for you. Thank you for staying with us.

Would happily stay here again

We spent the long weekend here with our late-teen boys. Having two separate living areas with TVs and the table tennis table was great. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were in excellent condition, and we appreciated having a good supply of wood as well as additional heating in the downstairs bedrooms. Access to the house was straightforward and the host responded quickly. Being an older house, there are some minor maintenance issues (flagged with the host) but overall there was nothing to stop us having a really enjoyable time.

Hi Khaled, As discussed on the phone I'm not too sure how you were not able to find a contact number for us? In your rental agreement we supply our contact numbers, inside the property we have a information pack and our booking system sends you 6 automated messages from the start of your booking to the check out stage, each with the office number. Thank you for your feed back we will look into this to ensure it is more clear for future guest. If we had of spoken I would have happy guided you through how to work the dishwasher. Entrance door lock malfunction

As we arrived the entrance door lock did not open despite pushing the door as advised by Andrew, we tried to open the door for nearly 20 minutes after driving for 2.5 hours, contacted Andrew to organise to send someone to open the doors, we were told we have to pay 100 for someone to come to open, it was ridiculous option and told him that it is not our fault that the door doesn’t open easily, finally after about 30 minutes we could open the front door with great difficulty, there are no exhaust fans in both toilets which resulted in steam build up. Towel rails & toilet roll holder - loose/came off the mount. Upstairs: blinds on the balcony/ main door jammed/ could not be opened. * Had to enter/ exit via downstairs bathroom door because of main entry door lock issue, which caused great inconvenience, Also issues of mould/fungus laden green bin in kitchen and downstairs bathroom.

Hi Prabir, we are still unsure why you couldn't access the front door, you had the correct key, our agency does charge a call out fee on Saturday evenings at 7pm if someone needs to attend the property when you had the correct key. On inspection we found the key and door to both be working fine. Again, upstairs balcony door we also found to be working without an issue.

The location was absolutely beautiful, the views were stunning. Unfortunately I don’t think anyone had visited the property in a long time. The house was really musty smelling and the two downstairs beds were covered in dead ants. Several spiders came out of a doona upstairs aswell. We were also disappointed the basic tea and coffee supplies were not topped up. No coffee and two teabags.

Thanks for your review, l can assure you the property was cleaned by our cleaners 4 days before your arrival. I can't explain the dead ants on the doona covers, this must have happened in between the cleaning and your arrival.

disappointing experience

Very expensive considering the property was mostly run down. carpets in bedrooms were terrible and worn. Table tennis table was broken, kitchen utensils dirty and being promoted as a pet friendly property without access to the back yard from indoors was very odd.

Excellent and clean place to spend your holidays

The property was clean and is sufficient for two families staying together. The barbeque was clean with gas fully filled up. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and easy. The listing details are very accurate. Overall we enjoyed our stay without any hassle. We will recommend this property to our friends.
