Spring break getaway

Such a cute beach cottage - perfect for a family of 4! Enjoyed the sounds of the ocean from the screened in porch and the view from the deck! The short 5 min walk over the dunes made it easy to get to the beach!

St. Simon Stay

This is a nice little rental house close to the water.It was peaceful, just wish the weather was better but we were down on business and didn't get to pick the weather!

Great weekend getaway

Cute beach house, just steps away from the dunes and beach. The location is great, wonderful neighborhood to walk around and close to downtown restaurants and pier. Property managers were great in providing information, easy check in and check out.

Nice Beach Bungalow

Small but cute. Screened in porch is absolutely wonderful. It is not beachfront, there is a three story house blocking your view. There is an unprotected captain’s watch in the backyard with a limited view of the ocean. The outdoor shower is very nice when returning from the beach, but it is still a nice little walk to the beach.

Nice stay

We loved the location and the home was nicely appointed. They have a cleanliness problem however - mildew in the shower and AC vents and cockroaches in the drawers and cupboards.

We also changed cleaning companies after your stay. Had we been notified of this issues during your stay, we would have been happy to send someone one to rectify these issues. Great little beach spot

I feel like the bio should mention how long the walk through the dunes is and that there are no board walks. We ended up buying a wagon to trudge out chairs and cooler. Place was clean and cozy otherwise!

Cold in the winter

Although this is a cute place and super convenient to the beach, it lacks heat in the winter with air conditioning only. We stayed there on a cold weekend and used the fireplace as our source for warmth. I would rent again in the summer only.

Sorry for any confusion. We wish you would have called. The property has two units both with A/C and heat. We would have been happy to send someone over to show you how to operate the heat. It is always our intention for guests to have a happy and enjoyable experience.

Okay, not great

Had to have cleaning people come in. Some small bugs in kitchen. Tolerable. GCR agency very responsive. Good for small parties.. Nice screen porch. Great location. Ocean view and path through dunes to beach.

Lovely time for a quick family getaway!

My husband, son (11), dog (13 spaniel) and myself had the pleasure of staying at this property for Fall Break. LOCATION is AMAZING !!!! It's right at the public beach access but try during the day vs night time unless there is a full moon. The walk was frustrating at first but quickly became something I looked forward to doing. The house was exactly what we needed and nothing more. The big deck was awesome but we got eaten alive by the red mites. The deck needs to be re-done soon but is such an asset to the property. If you are seeking a quaint, quiet and relaxing vacation this is a perfect spot.

We are sorry that the A/C was not working properly during your stay. However, when you called you told us you did not want any one to come in and wouldn't allow us to send someone to service the unit. Since your departure, the a/c company corrected the issue and the unit is working properly. It is always our intention for our guests to have an enjoyable experience.

Steps away from the beach walkover, and maybe a 5 minute walk in total from the door of the house through the dunes to get to the beach. Lots of dishes, cooking utensils and pots/pans. Downstairs was always nice and cool, but the upstairs loft tended to be warmer than downstairs (there is an A/C unit up there that we did not adjust during our stay) We had a wonderful time and we will definitely stay here again.
