Weltklasse-Angeln, Kajakfahren, Schwimmen und Vogel rechts entlang der Kaskade Fluss beobachten. Herrliche Wanderungen in den Nordkaskaden, in der Nähe von vielen Ausgangspunkten einschließlich top-rated, wunderschöne Kaskade weiter.

House befindet sich über dem Fluss etwa 100 Meter vom Fluss entfernt.

Das gemütliche Haus am Fluss beherbergt bequem zwei bis neun Erwachsene in zwei Schlafzimmer sowie ein Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer und eine Höhle / Schlafzimmer mit 3 Etagenbetten, Schlafsessel und einem vollen Größe Futon. Einige Bodenfläche für die nicht besonders abenteuerlich Seelen. Viel Flussufer sich für einen erholsamen und ruhigen Schlaf zu setzen Zelten.

Das Haus ist komplett Kind mit Pack-n-play, Hochstuhl, Spielzeug, Flaschen / Schalen und Tore.

Wir haben auch ein Luxus-Anhänger auf dem Grundstück zu vermieten, wenn Sie größere Parteien und mehr Platz benötigen, für 10 Personen. Der Anhänger befindet sich auf der anderen Seite des Hauses, wenn es nacheinander mit der Reservierung gebucht werden geschieht - Sie werden nicht einmal wissen, dass sie da sind.

Loved our stay there. Everything was clean. The beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed preparing meals in the kitchen. The location was great. One thing that was a nice surprise was the hot tub. There was no mention of it in the description. We had to make a special trip to concrete to find swim shorts for everyone, so don't forget to pack yours!

The home was very clean and an excellent location if you’re planning on visiting North Cascades Natl Park. The owner was very responsive and stocked the kitchen for us which was very thoughtful. The beds were very comfy. The only real criticism I have is the price.

When we arrived, there was clean dishes and silverware in the drainer - not put away, open drink can in the fridge and open condiments and the rental was cluttered. The heater is in the hallway not tucked away. The television was the size of a computer screen and we were not able to get it to work. The pictures show chairs by the river but we were not able to get to the river. The shower had black mold on the bottom. We paid over 850 for the night but did not get a five star rental. Not being from the area and spending 6 hours in the Northern Cascades this was the closest stop we could find. The only plus we can give this rental was the king bed was extremely comfortable.

Wonderful location to the national park and the local restaurants were very good. They provide anything you might have forgotten, as well as fruit, snacks and a bottle of mimosas. That is all wonderful! I would like to see a little of that effort put towards some needed updates to the windows and bathroom.

We have stayed in probably 20 VRBO properties over the years and this is definitely one of our favorites. They provided absolutely everything you could ever need for the stay. In addition to an incredible kitchen and things like fresh fruit, a bottle of wine, extra toiletries, and all the condiments you could ever want, they even included personal touches like a “smore-making” kit; so thoughtful!Directions were perfect, Wi-Fi works great, and excellent communication from the owners. Everything is clean. The place is incredibly well decorated and has a very quaint feel. There was surprisingly ample space for the five of us to all spread out and get comfortable (with three large couches, an indoor dining table, a sitting bar, and outdoor seating areas). The single bath is perhaps the only relative negative.Meanwhile, the nearby river and scenery are absolutely spectacular. This is an amazing place to come and unwind, get away from it all, and spend quality time with your friends or loved ones. Highly recommended!

Loved this property! Bottle of wine and snacks on table. Very well stocked with supplies. Sat by the river in the evening - very large property. We didn't have kids but could see how a family could enjoy the house - beautiful kid room, sand box area and a "s'mores" kit. Definitely would recommend this property.

Great spot and accomodations

This was a great spot for a girls trip. Unfortunately we couldn't spend much time by the river bc of the dead salmon in the river (females laying eggs and dying naturally) which made the air smell bad. Otherwise was clean, felt safe, and had all the amenities and toiletries you could possibly need.

Great house to explore the park

We really enjoyed our quick stay. The location is perfect for our Cascade Pass to Sahale Glacier hike. The house had everything we needed. It was clean and well decorated. I loved the local artwork. We loved being greeted by the two cats who look to be very well fed. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect NP-Adjacent Spot

When I imagine a home rental with the perfect amenities, this is what I will think about! Spectacular location if your goal is to spend time in the outdoors. Perfectly appointed kitchen and bathroom (one of my pet peeves is not enough towels and there were more than enough for our entire party!). My 3, almost 4 year old couldn’t have been more excited about the bunkbeds, toys and games, not to mention the yard. We truly cannot wait to make another visit!

Cozy winter escape

We had a wonderful time at Mary’s Cascade River cabin. The kid’s room was a wonderful treat for our toddler and our pup was in heaven on their beautiful property. We all loved getting cozy by the woodstove (thank you for supplying all the seasoned wood!). And best of all the location right next to the National park provided some awesome proximity to hikes - we did one each day we were there. Thunder knob was a highlight! hoping to return in the spring/summer. Thank you again!

comfortable stay

Very clean, thoughtful extras (like USB plugins added by each bedside; local info; games; spices & coffee & filters, etc.), comfortable beds. Had what we needed. Description seems to imply it's on the river but it was unclear if we were allowed to go down to the river, since there was a fence and another party staying on the grounds b/w this unit & the river. Poor communication w/ the manager--I asked several questions pre-check-in and never received answers.

Convenient stay for North Cascades National Park

Front yard area was nice. Inside was nice as well. Side and backyards need work. Communication ahead of stay coming several days away from across the country could have been better. Internet service was spotty and could not get Netflix to work. It was clean. Liked the neighborhood cat Tabitha.

Beautiful area

House was as described and location was perfect for visiting the park. House was clean and we had no issues. However I sent several messages before arriving and none were answered and that gave me concern showing up. I appreciate families sharing their homes but I felt like we were imposing since so many personal items were around. They also leave lots of notes and instructions which also had us feeling we were intruders even when we paid more to stay here than any of the other 23 NP we have visited. We did enjoy our visit to the area and appreciated the hospitality of the owners.

North Cascades stay

Our family has six people, it was great. We have all ages and everyone was comfortable. I brought he laundry detergent (heads up from another review.) Also I didn't find a toaster if that is important to anyone else. Other than that, it was comfortable, the yard/garden/outdoors space was lovely. I just went and checked out the river. I felt a little weird bc the people renting the RV were down there and it definitely feels more like their property, even though I'm pretty sure it's just one big property. The proximity to the North Cascades can't be beat. The two little restaurants in town were both good and only two minutes away and the convenience store was pretty well stocked. Not a full grocery run but definitely meets your basic needs and a little more. Overall it was a good experience!

Hiking get away

Stayed here four nights, master bedroom is very comfortable. Rooms are a good size. The house has everything you need. Unfortunately at the time we were there the microwave was not working, but that was fine. I used a pot to heat up some water instead, but did let the owner know about it, very quiet neighborhood. I like that there are a few restaurants to eat at within 1/2 of a mile. . Just a short walk in the back part of the property there are chairs to sit on and watch the river, which is so relaxing. We did not use the bunkbed room, but it is adorable and I could see where young children & teens would really enjoy sleeping there with lots of toys and games in the room. The second bedroom has sliding doors which have a note on it saying to keep locked for emergency exit only and not to go in the backyard as there is a hot tub, which looks partly disassembled. Not a nice site, but I gather they're in a process of doing something with that & part of the fence is down, so I just kept the blinds closed, which was not a problem for me. Overall it was a very comfortable house, large property & good location to get to the parks.

Great place! Needs a little more descriptors/clarifications

This property is wonderful. The back of the property does go all the way to a river, but it isn’t clear which parts we have access to without bothering the people in the trailer that is closer to the water than the house is. The pictures of the outside need updating; grass pretty tall, chairs by river no longer by river but closer to trailer next door. Photos and reviews gave us impression we could see and hear the river, but it is not that close to the house. Must travel through yard and gate. Wonderland for families with small kids! Two cats live on property and they do interact with you. House is as described. Very comfortable. Lots of kitchen pantry extras, easy to cook. No hangers, no advance notice that to wash clothes we would need to bring our own high efficiency liquid detergent. And by that point your choices are the gas stations close by. We were not able to make cell phone calls; owner described *48 thing to help with calls but did not work. (We have Verizon and were able to make calls up highway 20 mins at Newhalem but nowhere else. This seems normal for this area but wanted to let others know what to expect). Wifi is no longer on a secure network and was different than info given and written in their book, But wifi did work well. We would stay again in a minute if we could! This was a great location for all the Cascades you have time for.

We were very disappointed with this property. It started with some miscommunication of our arrival date. The person on site was easy to contact, took responsibility and rectified the initial problem. She is a very nice woman and worked very hard to right the ship, but it did affect how we viewed the place from the start. In general, cleanliness was suspect. Very disorganized kitchen with lots of items left in the refrigerator that were very yucky. Frying pan still with food not completely washed off. No closet space whatsoever-closets full of all sorts of stuff as decoration Several lights didn't work, and the light switches didn't match the lights they were near! (Very weird!) Also, the shower head dripped after being turned off-a LOT-and got the bathroom floor very slippery in the middle of the night. I give all this detail because the previous reviews were almost all glowing! I can't believe they stayed at the same place! Being near the National Park, the price for one night was more than twice what we paid for VRBOs on the other nights on this trip, but in retrospect, I wish we had stayed farther down the mountain...

i'm the daughter of North Cascades National Park backcountry ranger legend Bill Lester. our goal is keep this property in our family for the next generation to enjoy. i want my son, his cousins and family to be able to enjoy and appreciate the North Cascades.
