`Locky`s Nest` is a few minutes to the beach & secluded from the road by est. trees & shrubs, small decking, great Value for the family getaway.

`Locky`s Nest` is a few short minutes to the stunning Carrickalinga beach but also secluded from the road by established trees & bushes. A great back yard for the kids to run around and play!
This home has a small deck area, a great open plan living, dining and kitchen area for the whole family to enjoy. The kitchen is well equipped, there is a lovely combustion fire for those cold winter nights and a RCAC for the warm summer days.
A good sized bathroom with shower and bath.

Nice, clean house. Well equipped kitchen. Had everything we needed. So close to the beach. Lots of room in the backyard for kids to run around. Very quiet area and wonderful bird noises in the trees around.The fridge was way too cold. Vegies froze.Other than that, we would love to come back again.

Tidy and well equipped house.

Our stay at Locky’s Nest was excellent. Kitchen had all the right tools, washing machine good, big lounge chairs, quiet aircon. The place was perfectly clean in all the expected places.

Great getaway shack

Our family of 6 enjoyed our winter getaway. The place has a simple shack vibe and most of the things you need. Everything worked well but a covered outdoor area would be a must if staying in summer.

Dolphin ave property

The property was very basic, dated. If you’re looking for a very basic shack style house then this will suit. The yard doesn’t haven’t any grass for the children, it’s all dirt and prickles. The house was very dusty so we slept with all windows open. There also is only aircon in the main lounge. No wifi, no hairdryer, no soap stuff in shower, no towels (you are told to hire linen so just be aware this includes towels but nobody told me this). It is very close to the beach tho. It’s very much, you pay for what you get. We needed up leaving after one night instead of two. Look it’s okay, but nothing special- if you’re just going to sleep there and then go out all day it’s fine for that, but I wouldn’t want to spend hours in there.

The kitchen was fully equipped and there was a laundry there for every day use. The rooms were clean. The bathroom was good and great for when you have had a day at the beach. Good location and short walk to the beach.

Unhappy

The property was full of mosquitos which resulted in us waking up covered in bites. We were expected to have the dishes cleaned and put away but were not provided with a tea towel! No mat for the shower so the floor was always wet and slippery. Won’t come back here again
