Toskanische Villa mit Panoramablick - in der Nähe von Florenz, Siena & Arezzo

Thank you for your lovely testimonial of your stay in the Casa Colonica. I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay with your family.!! And thank you especially for appreciating both house and garden. And kudos for your evening trips to Siena to sit and watch the people in the Piazza del Campo as the swallows gather at sunset!

It was a pleasure to have you as next-door neighbours, and I am impressed with your intrepid ascent to the Pratomagno on the last day (what a glorious day that was, could you see the Mediterranean in the distance?). I am so glad you enjoyed your days here in the Valdarno. You certainly took good advantage of the Casa Colonica being ideally situated for day trips :-)

Perfect guest, delightful 'neighbour'. It was lovely to have Jennifer in residence at il Poggiolo Tuscany, and it would be a pleasure to see her again. Happy trails, and may you continue to enjoy your Sabbatical !

It was a pleasure to have you next door here on our hilltop, and thank you for leaving the house next and clean. I am so glad that the Casa Colonica met all your expectations, and that the care taken to avoid allergens in the house and garden gave you an allergy-free vacation! You are welcome back anytime!!

It was a pleasure to have you as next-door neighbours, and I am so pleased that you enjoyed the villa (and appreciated its being well-stocked as befits a real home). Enjoy the rest of your Italian travels and come back any time !!

And we loved having you! Thank you for appreciating how well the house is equipped, how cool it remains even in the hottest months, and the screens on the windows !! (It is amazing how many holiday homes in Italy are still without screens....) You were perfect guests, and perfect neighbours. Come back soon !

Thank you for being so appreciative of the house, il Poggiolo and the location. You have traveled a lot and thus your opinion carries a lot of weight! So glad you managed to have lunch in San Giovanni while you were here, and an ice-cream in Loro Ciuffenna. We look forward to your coming back, you were perfect guests. Arriverderci :-) Sara

It was a pleasure to have you, and to make it possible for you to have a vacation with a large group of friends. Glad you liked the "hyper-coop." It is a zoo on Saturdays, but a fun place to shop the rest of the week. All best, Sara

It was lovely to have you as 'neighbours.' I am glad you had fun exploring the Valdarno and local spots. Above all, I am pleased that you enjoyed the garden, view and spaciousness of the Casa Colonica as a cool refuge on hot summer days!

The Ericksons were a joy to have at Il Poggiolo. We would love to have you back anytime !!

Thank you for your kind words. The Casa Colonica at il Poggiolo Tuscany is, in fact, part of ah historic farmhouse turned villa, and the property was chosen for its 360°views :-) I am so glad you appreciated the aesthetics of the accommodation, and the traditional furniture. We are happy to provide a REAL home away from home for our guests. The local restaurants and eateries are also a bonus, and it certainly makes travel all the more easier if you can stop off for a pizza after a busy day of sightseeing. You enjoyed many of the things Tuscany has to offer, and we look forward to welcoming you back! All best, Sara

It was a pleasure to have you in our Tuscan hamlet! Thank you for appreciating the 'atmosphere' of the house, it has been a labour of love. We would be happy to have you back some day.

Dear Katrin and family, we loved having you at il Poggiolo! You are ideal guests. Thank you for leaving the house so clean and tidy :-) Please come back again. With all best wishes for the Autumn, Sara + Allen

We were sad to see you go as well! Come back soon :-)

Dear both of you, it was lovely to have you return to il Poggiolo Tuscany once again, you are now honorary citizens of this wee hilltop hamlet! What fun also that you went to Duddova for lunch at the alimentari, that is truly a local (secret) destination. We enjoyed having you just fit back in as our neighbors - the time flew - and we do hope to see you back in Europe many times again (those grandchildren permitting!). Very best regards from us both :-)

Dear JD and KD, I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay in the Casa Colonica to the extent that you stayed an extra day .... and saw the Palio in Siena! Thank you for pointing out how the thick walls of the house keep it delightfully cool even during a heat wave - you have to experience it to believe it. Wonderful also that you ran the dirt roads that stretch from the house to the Chianti hills, in the early morning and evenings the landscapes are at their best. Come back for another Palio! All best, SMG

Carissimi, c'était un vrai bonheur vous avoir pour "voisins", et votre sympathique message nous fait très plaisir. On est ravis d'une si gentille parole de voyageurs si experts - Mille mercis !

It was a joy to have you back again as hilltop neighbors. Your expertise as seasoned travelers and old hands at European lifestyle makes your kind words especially appreciated. Do come back soon!
