So glad we had A/C in the condo as it was really muggy during our stay. We had a lot of rain so we watched a few movies with the variety of streaming options on the TV. Excellent view of the grounds, pool and ocean. Loved sitting out on the lanai. Everyone at the complex was very friendly. Great location to the store and restaurants. Great communication with the owner.

After looking around the island I can say this location is the best on the island, and the view is very nice. The unit is not fancy but the bed was comfortable, the accommodations nice, and overall we had a very nice week.

The bed had a layer of foam on it making it too soft and uncomfortable. I should have removed it but I wasn't sure if it was placed there by the owner.The a/c was perfect.

Your response came as a huge disappointment. On Thursday I asked you whether you had any questions or needed help, You said in your text "we have had a delightful stay. No questions". And then in your response above you mentioned that things were broken inside. How can I fix that if I don't know they are broken? I care for you, my guests and rely on honest and candid responses instead of venting them in the review? I'm thousands of miles away and the happiness of my guests as well as the state of my condo is my priority. Just remember for future trips to be honest to the host's questions. The air conditioning was a nice improvement, since the unit would heat up with the afternoon sun. The lanai was a great place for breakfast and was in the shade until early afternoon. The ocean views and the view of the island of Lanai were fantastic. We kept watching for whales and did see one, but were a little early for the whale migration.

Basic comfort with AC a big plus!

This unit was very cozy with all the basic amenities, nothing fancy but we were very comfortable especially with the ac unitYes I would recommend staying here if you are on a budget as this is one of the least expensive units.

One of the few units with AC on the property which was a huge bonus. Owner is responsive and helpful. New mattress is very comfortable.

Book this place! You’re going to need the AC. It’s very hot on Molokai. Unit was in a great location. Pool was a plus after being out exploring all day. We met some lovely Molokai residents at the pool. They filled us in on life there. Host was very responsive after a small problem with the coffee maker.

I'm a Realtor in Las Vegas, NV where I now live for 20 years before I moved from the Bay Area, California. Prior to that I was raised im Saarland/ Germany, worked in Switzerland, England, France and traveled to many interesting places in Europe and the US. It was my dream to come to California, San Francisco which I realized many years ago. I started as mother's help and worked my way up as an independent consultant for Fortune 500 companies until the bug bit me again and I moved to Las Vegas. I have a great 1-story home with pool and tropical backyard, available for shortterm rental with 2 bedrooms/ 2 bath for 2-4 guests maximum. Come, be my guests and spend some awesome time in any of the two properties .

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

I was attracted to Molokai, Hawaii because of its rich history, its deserted milelong sand beaches at the west end, its mystic beauty, untouched rainforests and plants that grow only on Molokai, about the sad, primitive existence of the lepra colony in Kalaupapa, deprived from their family and friends for life.. While visiting a small museum and chatting with the manager, she mentioned that there was an ocean front condo for sale. I visited it, fell in love, and purchased it. I fixed it up, upgraded it, enhanced the amentities and returned many times as a visitor myself with my family and friends. It is truly paradise!

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

It's located 7 miles off the Molokai airport in the lovely Molokai Shores Resort. You can never get lost since there is only ONE highway taking you to the East side, and another one to the West side. Beaches ... you can only dream about. You can hopp into a small propeller airplane to visit all the other islands. You can take a mule ride, helicopter ride or hike down the cliffs to Kalaupapa where a guided tour takes you to the lepra colony. Check with local business first to make sure these tours are still offered.
And it's a paradise for snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, hiking ... You'll take memories back home that are unforgettable and you long to come back again soon.
