It all started with a super friendly obliging competent Host. The information before arrival was perfect and helpful. In addition, the host called to make sure everything was in order after arrival. The flat was in a fantastic, super-beautiful location. Great view, amazing sunsets and the air conditioning was worth its weight in gold!

Sehr entspannt und natürlich

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Appartement ist mit allem ausgestattet, was für einen längeren Urlaub benötigt wird. Kein störender Lärm durch eine Klimaanlage, denn Ventilator und offene Fenster funktionieren prima zur Regulierung der Temperatur. Danke Sigrid, Sie sind sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Very clean and comfortable bed. Had good sleep!! Had everything we needed. Good view from balcony. Grounds well maintained. TV was excellent. I was able to get my Netflix account on. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you Sigrid for refund of days of early departure due to hurricane warning.

Book this place! You’re going to need the AC. It’s very hot on Molokai. Unit was in a great location. Pool was a plus after being out exploring all day. We met some lovely Molokai residents at the pool. They filled us in on life there. Host was very responsive after a small problem with the coffee maker.

Quiet Joy

We are so happy we had the opportunity to enjoy the Island of Molokai. The complex of Molokai Shores was perfect for us. Generally it was quiet and we could pleasure in listening to the birds, chickens and waves. Also the squeals of kids in the pool or chasing balls in the grass was a great accent. I spent s-l-o-w time sitting on the patio watching the ocean while my husband did some necessary work on his computer (good internet speed and dependability). We felt safe in the complex and the condo was roomy and comfortable for two adults.HOORAY! The condo has air conditioning that cooled the rooms completely and the week we were there we always felt a sigh of relief upon returning from outside. I mention this because many rentals depend on the breeze to make you comfortable and it was hot and humid during our stay.My husband and I enjoyed the island and the condo. The complex of 'Molokai Shores' has some age on it and you notice small items in the condo that could use a bit of an upgrade BUT by day two the island infects you and the world slows and it becomes more important to find beauty in the island than notice a paint chip.

Wonderful!

This place was pure wonderful! Loved it. A/c a HUGE plus! Condo was well equipped and very clean. The view is to die for. Will stay here again. Bed SO COMFORTABLE. Dining table was perfect for nightly meals. NO BUGS whatsoever!!! Owner Sigrid was so nice.

Great location

Really enjoyed the location of the condo, and the A/C was great to have at certain times! Most of the time we didn't need it, just opened the doors and let the breeze blow through. The listing says theres a Hot tub, but there isn't. Communication with the owner was great! She was very quick to repond.

Fabulous view!

The condo was comfortable ( with A/C), had a fully equipped kitchen and the best ocean view from the lanai ever! We enjoyed our mornings and evenings on the lanai and exploring the sleepy island of Molokai during the day. The owner was helpful and easy to communicate with. It was clear she wanted us to enjoy our stay.

Molokai Shores

My husband and I throughly enjoyed our first time on Molokai. It feels like Hawaii from 1950! Even though we could not visit Kalaupapa (closed by National Park Service) we felt there were plenty of things to do. We found great beaches, especially Papohaku Beach, and the whale watching was incredible from the condo's wonderful second-story balcony. Every morning we sat on the balcony with breakfast and watched the whales dance. The condo is a bit dated, but is well appointed, with good kitchen supplies. The AC was wonderful to have to cool the sun in the afternoons. It is a convenient location to the other sides of the island. The owner communicates well and is most responsive. Sunsets were amazing and we saw our first "Green Flash" from the lanai! We would return to this property. Thank you.

Molokai Trip Amazing Location and Views

We had a lovely stay at this condo at Molokai Shores. The condo was clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect. Molokai Shores offers a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to explore the island. The nearby beaches were beautiful, and the overall vibe of the island was serene and calming.The highlight of our stay was definitely the lanai. The view from there was breathtaking, and we spent every evening enjoying the sunset. It became our favorite spot to relax and take in the beauty of the island.However, there were a couple of issues that affected our stay. The refrigerator made a loud, constant noise, which was a bit distracting at times, though not a deal breaker.The bigger issue was the bed. It was very uncomfortable, even with two mattress toppers. The mattress seemed old and outdated, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. This really impacted our overall enjoyment of the vacation, as a comfortable bed is crucial to a restful stay.We would recommend this condo for its location and views. It’s a beautiful spot, but the bed made it hard to fully enjoy our stay.

Prior to that I was raised im Saarland/ Germany, worked in Switzerland, England, France and traveled to many interesting places in Europe and the US. It was my dream to come to California, San Francisco which I realized many years ago. I started as mother's help and worked my way up as an independent consultant for Fortune 500 companies until the bug bit me again and I moved to Las Vegas. I have a great 1-story home with pool and tropical backyard, available for shortterm rental with 2 bedrooms/ 2 bath for 2-4 guests maximum. Come, be my guests and spend some awesome time in any of the two properties .

I was attracted to Molokai, Hawaii because of its rich history, its deserted milelong sand beaches at the west end, its mystic beauty, untouched rainforests and plants that grow only on Molokai, about the sad, primitive existence of the lepra colony in Kalaupapa, deprived from their family and friends for life.. While visiting a small museum and chatting with the manager, she mentioned that there was an ocean front condo for sale. I visited it, fell in love, and purchased it. I fixed it up, upgraded it, enhanced the amentities and returned many times as a visitor myself with my family and friends. It is truly paradise!

It's located 7 miles off the Molokai airport in the lovely Molokai Shores Resort. You can never get lost since there is only ONE highway taking you to the East side, and another one to the West side. Beaches ... you can only dream about. You can hopp into a small propeller airplane to visit all the other islands. You can take a mule ride, helicopter ride or hike down the cliffs to Kalaupapa where a guided tour takes you to the lepra colony. Check with local business first to make sure these tours are still offered.
And it's a paradise for snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, hiking ... You'll take memories back home that are unforgettable and you long to come back again soon.
