Ein Urlaub in Whangarei Heads ist nicht viel besser als dieses schöne Haus, versteckt von den Nachbarn, aber nur ein oder zwei Minuten vom besten Surfstrand entfernt oder in der wunderschönen Urquharts Bay schwimmend.
Ausgedehnte Aussicht auf das Meer in eine Richtung oder umdrehen und die Aussicht auf den Hafen von Whangarei genießen. Beide Seiten dieses Hauses verfügen über Decks mit ineinander verschlungenen Bereichen und viele schöne Aussichten.

30 Minuten zu Fuß zur Smugglers Bay, einem abgelegenen, unberührten Badestrand, oder genießen Sie die vielen kostenlosen Spaziergänge. Parkplatz für bis zu 6,5 m Boot und 6-8 Autos. 2-3 Minuten und Sie können in Urquharts Bay starten. Für Wanderer oder Wanderer gibt es eine Fülle von kostenlosen Spaziergängen durch und um Bream Head, Mount Manaia und Mount Aubrey, die direkt vor Ihrer Haustür liegen.

We had an amazing time during our stay here, the brand new pool was incredible and having a spa aswell was such a bonus! Rick was a fabulous host, he made sure we had everything we needed and gave us local insight into tips for beaches. House was extremely spacious and well spread out and made it ideal with travelling with 2 families . Highly recommend and we will be back!

Great getaway with friends and kids

Amazing getaway

A Perfect Stay!

We loved our stay at "Gone Coastal!" The views were gorgeous, and the house had everything we needed. We were in town from the U.S. for a family wedding, and we wanted a place that was practical but still made us feel like we were on vacation. The house was lovely and so well furnished. Perfect stay

This was the perfect getaway. The property is very private and the views are amazing. It’s very well appointed and has everything we needed. Being on a peninsula you get sea views from both sides and the sunsets from the hot tub are spectacular. Rick even went out of his way to find us a surfboard to borrow for our son to use at the local beach. Thanks so much we will definitely be back.

Wonderful spacious house with beautiful views

The house has all you need for a lovely holiday with lots of space, well equipped, plenty of outdoor space following the sun and comfortable beds. Rick, the owner, is very helpful and had prepared useful information about the area and the house. A great, quiet location, away from it all, but still so close to gorgeous Ocean Beach (5 min by car), fantastic walks of all levels, boat excursions and much more.

Stunning in every way

We stayed at Ricky’s property for 5 nights over New Years and it was absolutely perfect for a larger group of friends. Plenty of space, spa was amazing and made for a good activity when it wasn’t quite beach weather. We loved our time and look forward to coming back sometime! Thanks again ☺️

Summer family holiday

A impressive entrance through a large beautiful garden. House more than met expectations. Spacious with large lounge and kitchen areas. Dining table handled our group of 9 with heaps of room for several more. Lovely views in all directions and well situated for access to local attractions. Thoroughly recommended and wouls stay again.

Beautiful retreat!

My family and I booked a weekend stay at Home Coastal, we had a group of 8 with 2 children 11 and 10. The property is fantastic, and secluded with beautiful views east and west and all day sun. Rick was a fantastic host, great to deal with and has a beautiful property. We all fit well and particularly enjoyed the open plan kitchen/dining area for family dinners. Lastly the outlook from the spa pool in the evening is amazing, we highly recommend a stay here and will be looking to book another longer stay in the near future!

Bluey’s Family and Friends

We have stayed at many properties over the years. This one is our favourite The house is private and spacious. Loads of room for parking. We had 2 cars and 2 Vans. The house is beautiful. The open plan and indoor outdoor flow makes it easy for a big group. It’s a beautiful home Everything you need for cooking and entertainment ect. The location for us was a bonus. We were able to surf at Ocean Beach (5mins away) and visit friends in Pataua South for a Birthday dinner Spa Pool overlooking Whangarei Harbour was a favourite for my teenager’s. Helped them unwind after the big days The Property owner Rick lives on the property. But in a detached private dwelling. I like that way better than an owner who doesn’t live at the residence. Because there is always something that you’ll need help with. Rick is so easy to talk to and and will do whatever he can to make your holiday special We’ll be back 🤓❤️ Bluey

Beste Entscheidung des Urlaubes

Nachdem das Wetter auf der Südinsel nicht gut vorausgesagt wurde entschieden wir uns schon früher für den Norden! Und in Kombination mit diesem Haus mehr als die richtige Entscheidung ! Die Umgebung, die Stände und insbesondere die Liegenschaft ( das Anwesen- muss man so sagen) perfekt. Danke noch an Rick für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Wir hatten großes Glück dieses Haus zu finden! Magical!

We booked the property as a base to walk the Whangerei Heads track, it was perfectly located. The spa was just what we needed after a 5 hour tramp, the bach has everything you could possibly need and was perfect for our group of 6 ladies. Rick was the perfect host and made the booking process really easy.

A beautiful property with great views out to the Pacific and back into Whangarei harbour. Definitely recommend staying here, Rick was a great host and happy to assist when needed

Holidaying in Whangarei Heads does not get much better than this beautiful home, tucked away from neighbour’s but only a minute or two from either the best surf beach or swimming the wonderful Urquharts Bay.

Sprawling views of the ocean one way or turn around and enjoy the views of Whangarei harbour,
both sides of this home have decks with intertwining area’s or if you just prefer North and South views are full native bush (Bream Head) Listen to the kiwi’s at night, or just enjoy the tranquility.

The rooms are all extra large, as is the living/dining area’s, so very spacious and high quality. Parking is for approximately 8 cars plus the boat.

Take a 30 min walk to Smugglers Bay, a remote unspoiled swimming beach, or enjoy the many free walks available from one hour to 6-8 hours all have capturing views of Hen and Chicks Island and Pour Nights Island. If it’s fishing you want it 2-3 min to Urquharts Bay, no ramps but can launch up to 6.5 meter boat from trailers at three or four locations along the bay.
