Awesome home! Quiet area, and so close to the beach. Pool and spa were so fun and relaxing. We’re already thinking of another trip to AMI and if we do we won’t even search for another property if this one is available for the dates we choose.

Beautiful home great location.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Two couples ages 68-75 looking for relaxing time. The house is beautiful but full of steps, 30 steps from driveway to bedrooms, needs an elevator or a warning to older renters, we understand the elevation is due to storms. We enjoyed the pool and the area is pretty private and quite close to restaurants and blocks from the beach. The house is a maintenance nightmare and needs a little updating, the blue bedroom/bath needs paint as it looks like someone threw up on a wall. We had trouble regulating hot showers and settled for cold 90% of the time. Upon arrival it appeared housekeeping just turned over throw rugs instead of washing them. The spa only had one jet working. Many electrical outlets did not work, neither did the garage access code. The skylights in the bathrooms were smart and helpful but need to be cleaned out. The house had everything we needed for our stay and none of these items kept us from relaxing, or enjoying the island, never had a bad meal anywhere!

Amazing vacation!

This property was everything we needed for our family vacation! The private pool was a big hit, it was a short walk to the beach and has its own little dock over the water. Thanks for a great time!

Perfect location

So convenient to everything you need. Loved being able to leave our kayaks in the water and leave so easily multiple times a day.

Perfect Home!

We absolutely loved this rental! The location is perfect between the beach and the City Pier which is where we love to spend our time. Quick walk or bike ride to beach and easy bike ride to shops, pier, & restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to another getaway at this location!

The perfect getaway

The beach was less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, literally walk out the driveway, turn left, walk a few steps and there you have it. The beach, the sand at your footsteps. The house was perfect with the percent amount of rooms and space for all my girls. The pool was amazing, we had so much space to tan, sit on the porch or do cannon balls in the pool. I wish we had more time to stay here. The only thing I was slightly disappoint about was they described a beach cart and cooler on wheels. The beach cart was made out of plastic and looked kidish.. didn’t fit much, I would have brought my own. They did have beach chairs & umbrellas. The cooler on wheels was a cooler on wheels however it needed a GOOD clean. The filter for the water/ice machine in the fridge was showing in red that it needed replaced & when we looked underneath it, it was either mold or hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time so we had to keep buying bags of ice & bottled water. Other than that.. it was an amazing stay!

A fantastic place

This home was immaculate, a fabulous location close to beach and Pine St and property management very helpful. Be advised there are many,many stairs! The pool and hot tub very nice. And we had access to double garage for parking. We have been going to AMI for several years and this may be the nicest home we have rented.

Liv’in the Dream

Coconut Bayou was truly a vacation dream. The private swimming pool was a gem and so handy for us to take a quick dip. Loved the spacious kitchen. One suggestion would be better beach chairs and an umbrella so you don’t have to rent them.

Beautiful oasis, perfect location!

This home is absolutely breathtaking. I love staying where you can see a bit of history of the home and homeowners. The house is in a perfect location walking to the beach for sunset or bay for sunrise. Can paddle from the dock at the house out into tampa bay and cruise the beaches on a calm day, or paddle out to the city pier for breakfast. The spa and pool were clean and ready to go upon arrival, everyone was very kind in office and helped with any questions I did have. WIll stay again and would recommend!

Best Florida Vacation Spot

We've been on hundreds of beach vacations and Anna Maria Island is definitely one of the best we've experienced. The island is very family friendly, the beach is superb, there are no chain restaurants and all the amenities you could need are easily acquired. Coconut Bayou is in a great location. Walking distance to the beach and many of the local eateries, cafes and general store. We never used our car once we were at Coconut Bayou. The house is very clean, well kept and the beds are comfy. The heated pool (90 degrees) was very welcoming after a day at the beach.

Great neighborhood. Property as advertised. Garage door needs a remote. Pool needs a vacum and the hot tub jets did not work. Messaged the property manager, however; I did not receive a response.

The pool is vacuumed by the pool company during their weekly service if needed and unfortunately, the garage door no longer has a remote due to guests not returning it.
