Willkommen in diesem wunderschönen Haus am See am Kinderhook Lake, NY. Dieses Haus wurde 2018 komplett renoviert und bietet einen unglaublichen Blick auf den See. Im Sommer kühl und sonnig und im Winter warm und gemütlich. Kommen Sie und genießen Sie Lake Kinderhook! Diese Unterkunft befindet sich nur wenige Minuten vom NY Thruway und der I-90 entfernt. Von hier aus erreichen Sie bequem die Berkshires, das Hudson River Valley und mehrere Skigebiete. Offener Grundriss, brandneue Küche fließt in geräumigen Wohnbereich. Riesige Fenster heben die Sicht auf den See hervor. Zwei große Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss, ein Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock und ein komfortabler Futon im Gemeinschaftsbereich. Viel Platz zum Schlafen und Entspannen. Zwei Badezimmer, eines mit eigenem Eingang in das Hauptschlafzimmer. Großer Seehof mit Steg. Wenn Sie ein Boot / einen Anhänger haben, befindet sich direkt neben der Unterkunft ein Gras- / Kiesbootsanleger. Einigermaßen ruhiger See, einige Motorbootaktivitäten, aber die meisten befinden sich auf der anderen Seite des Sees. Anmerkung zur Sommerzeit: Wir lieben den See, aber auch Insekten. Alle Fenster haben Bildschirme, aber bitte halten Sie die Türen geschlossen, um das Eindringen von Insekten zu verhindern. Sie zelten tatsächlich wie kleine Söldner, die jedes Mal, wenn sich die Tür öffnet, auf einen Hinterhalt warten. We think it's the perfect holiday house. Kayaking was a lot of fun. And hot-tub.The house is spacious and clean and well-equipped. Only down-side--we're elderly and don't think the lake is safe for us for swimming.

Beautiful lake house

This place is located about 20 mins from downtown Albany and is extremely beautiful and spacious. Highly recommend if you are in the area. The communication with the property manager was excellent as well.

Now I want to retire on a Lake

Our stay was wonderful. First time using Vrbo and everything they said was truthful and more. This house was so great. Views from every room. We enjoyed the near by towns and of course that beautiful lake.

Absolutely perfect lake getaway!We had an incredible time unwinding by the lake — it was everything we hoped for and more. The home itself was stunning, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, giving everyone plenty of room to relax without ever feeling crowded. The hosts were exceptionally responsive and made the entire experience seamless from start to finish.The location couldn’t have been better — nestled right at the beginning of a no-wake zone, we enjoyed peaceful days without the noise of speeding boats. It was the ideal spot for both relaxation and enjoying the water.We’re already looking forward to our next visit and will absolutely be staying here every time we come to the lake. Highly recommend!

Beuatiful house, and gorgeous views. The house was very clean, and up to date. Comfortable beds and couch. The owner was incredibly responsive to all requests and inquiries before and during the stay. They had the minor things that I have had to purchase or go without when I've been at other VRBO houses (scissors, salt, cinnamon, bandaids, etc). All minor things, but it made our stay very convenient. We took the kayaks out, spent a bunch of time in the hot tub, grilled out, and toasted a million marshmallows. Strongly recommend, and we will be back.

We had a wonderful visit to Kinderhook Lake. The house was very clean and comfortable with really nice seating inside and out with great views of the lake. Our family really enjoyed the 3 kayaks and swimming off the small dock. We also enjoyed chatting with our neighbors a bit. Thanks for a great visit!

Wonderful Weekend

Modern and extremely clean. Every amenity worked and was in great shape. We used the fire pit, grill, kayaks, canoe, and hot tub without any problems. Well stocked kitchen with place settings and extra spices etc. Super easy check-in. And host quickly responded to any questions. Everything was perfect!

The place was just as described. Happy with rental. We did not have time to take advantage of all the lake activities, being just an overnight for a wedding. Had I known the place was that nice, would have made a weekend out of it. Instructions were clear, many labels to guide you throughout the place. My only gripe (and it's really not that big of a deal) was a lack of a TV in the master. Other wise, I'm "chefs kissing" this place. Will definitely consider this rental in the future. Maybe next year for fall leaf peeping or late spring/summer for paddle boarding/kayaking and local events. Its a beautiful area.

Wonderful weekend getaway!

This house was such a great getaway for me and my family. We spent the mornings looking out at the late and the afternoons exploring Hudson and Chatham. We would love to come back in the summer so we can kayak. Michael was wonderful with communicating!

Relaxing lakefront escape

Great property! Nice lake views in a comfortable home. Everything you would want to enjoy the water - kayaks, life jackets, fishing poles. Outdoor fire pit on the water is a relaxing spot to sit at any time. Beautiful and peaceful mornings sitting in Adirondack chairs on the water. Will stay again in the future!

We stayed a couple of nights for my birthday. The view was breathtaking out of almost every window of the house. It's literally right on the water. The house was extremely clean and the contents of each cupboard was nicely labeled. The hosts were very helpful and made sure our stay was PERFECT! We will be staying here again soon.

The pictures don't do this place justice. The home is so cozy and the hosts were wonderful!!! I had a lot of questions and they were very responsive and incredibly helpful. The lake was so impressive and being able to take it in while warm and cozy felt so special. Loved little details such as all cabinets being labeled. Super helpful for a very fun stay. Breathtaking water views

Beautifully remodeled lakefront home with amazing water views on a quiet lake side road. We had a wonderful time with our family on this well maintained property. The check in process was very easy and the any questions were answered immediately. The inside was spacious and had everything you may need to make your stay enjoyable. There were even kayaks and life vests for water enjoyment. Michael and Beverly Attebury were a joy to work with. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect Getaway!

We had such a great time at this house with our family. We were able to check in early and the place was clean and packed full of supplies for us to use during our stay such as plates, napkins, shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, coffee, etc.! We brought fishing rods and fished off the dock. We also used the kayaks to go out on the lake and it was so much fun! Anytime we messaged Michael and Beverly they responded within minutes! We were able to check out late and it was the easiest check out I’ve ever experienced. We will definitely be back to this property!

Great Lake House!

We spent a great week with the family at the Lake House. Michael and Beverly were great hosts. They made the process of renting the house easy, and were very helpful in answering questions about the local area. The security deposit was refunded immediately and in full. The house was phenomenal. Spotless and brand new. Internet works very well and the kitchen was fully stocked. Beautiful front lake house with easy access to nearby towns for groceries and restaurants. We visited during the winter and cannot wait to return in the summer!

An Amazing Vacation

This was the second year my (adult) daughter and I vacationed here in the summer. We loved the place as much, maybe more, the second year. The location is marvelous- great views of the lake, quiet, peaceful, yet 6 minutes to Hannaford’s Supermarket, CVS, and other necessities. We loved shopping in all the little shops in nearby Chatham, and frequented Berry’s Farm Market for fresh fruit and vegetables (and many other good things). We liked that we were at the part of the lake where boats had to slow down and leave no wake. We swam and kayaked and spent many hours just sitting by the lake. Michael is a fantastic host, accessible and helpful. The house is well-supplied with the basics and my sweet daughter prepared excellent meals in the kitchen every evening. We were both working part of the time, and grateful for good wi-fi and places to work. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms easy to use (I have rheumatoid arthritis and was grateful for the walk-in shower.) Even the weather cooperated. We had a blessed two weeks. This house was well organized and clean. Everything you would need was there and labeled. The lake was a little cloudy - but great to swim in. We loved Kyaking to "one tree island". Overall a nice stay and would recommend this house.
