House was great. It was nice and clean and well equipped with everything you need. Kids loved the pool. The only down side was the double beds. With a few tall people in the family queen size beds would have been appreciated.

What a fantastic home!!

It worked perfectly for a family reunion for my Dad’s 89th birthday. It was evan better than the photos. All the bathrooms and separate areas worked well for the different families. Would thoroughly recommend this place to holiday in.

Not received as it promised

We found the property not cleaned properly. There were food rotting inside pantry cupboards and sun lounge cusions were infested with ants and wasn't touched to clean for a long time. Didn't have internet as promised and was fixed only on the day we left and found out there was a broken modem. Toiletries weren't enough for 4 days. In each bathroom there was only one tiny tube if soap and shampoo left for the whole time for 2 people. Toilet rolls weren't enough too Had to get in touch with Verve more than 10 times during the 4 days we stayed because of different problems. Also didn't even have a proper cocking utensils. We had to call and tell them to bring new frying pans atleast to fry an egg. Coolers weren't working in some rooms. Overall we weren't satisfied at all for what we got for the price we paid Asked for a refund and still it has not happened or had any response to it. Very dissatisfied customer.

We made every effort to make your stay enjoyable and meet your expectations. We also tried out best to resolve your concerns as promptly and effectively as possible. Unfortunately the unforeseen internet and air-conditioning issues were really tricky ones. The internet issue required us to book an appointment with Telstra to attend and rectify a technical issue (this was not an issue with the modem) - to our surprise, Telstra were able to attend quite quickly and rectify the issue for you considering the time of year. Again, the issue with air-conditioning unit was also out of our control as, unfortunately, the compressor failed in this unit. This was actioned immediately, however as you can appreciate, given the time of year, it was extremely difficult to get replacement parts. In this instance, we decided to get the unit replaced and the earliest available time for installation was unfortunately not until the day of your departure. We hope that you found the fan we delivered to provide some relief for you in that bedroom, and that you were able to utilise the other functioning units in all other bedrooms and the main living zone, to filter some extra air into that room along side it. This property is managed by our housekeeping manager who frequently receives a 5 star rating for cleanliness. However, we do apologize for the outdoor cushions having an ant infestation this was certainly overlooked - unfortunately the Peninsula is notorious for ants and while we do arrange annual pest sprays of the home, outdoor areas can still often draw them in. We do supply some basic consumables for your stay, however this is just a starter pack, so for longer stays you do need to provide your own additional supplies. We take all feedback seriously and are always looking for ways to improve our properties and the experience of our guests , so thank you for your comments. All of your feedback has all been taken on board and every effort will be made to ensure that the cleanliness and standard of the property is maintained to our usual high standard for the future. Thank you again for your time and feedback, and apologies once again for the disappointment caused to you and your guests. We hope that despite this you were able to enjoy your time on the peninsula.

House in dirty condition, safety issues around the swimming pool/house, extra unnecessary fees

The issues we had with the property are ridiculous. The steps inside the swimming pool were razor sharp and caused 2 of the children to cut themselves. Luckily, we noticed the issue and avoided getting close to the steps. This was obviously not ideal and caused some to avoid the pool altogether. Also, the balustrade on the third level of the outdoor stairwell was missing a vertical rod/ bar. Once again these are serious safety hazards and should have been fixed prior to taking any new bookings. We noticed all the bed cushions placed on beds were dirty and had stains, around every bed there was layers of dust that had never been vacuumed. In the case of the BBQ, we did not use it during our stay. It was greasy, filthy and dirty when we opened it, hence why we decided to avoid this altogether. In each shower only one small tube of shampoo and conditioner was provided. A bottle of soap was in each washing basin with only 20% of soap left. One roll of toilet paper was provided in each toilet for a four-night stay. My guests and I are extremely disappointed with the experience we have had renting your property. Based on the reviews on homeway show other guests seem to have also experienced issues with your property. Coincidently the beginning of that review was also related to parts for the house not being cleaned properly. I recommend any future guests to take photographic or video evidence before and after entering the property.

In response to your feedback, we have arranged for the stairs and balustrade to be repaired prior to the next guests arrival. Thank you for bringing these things to our attention so that they can be addressed immediately. In future, please contact us on the after hours number should anything like this occur, so that we can have it rectified for you as quickly as possible. With regard to the cleaning of the home, we use a professional housekeeping and laundering service, and all properties, BBQs and linen are cleaned prior to guest arrival. I would like to assure you that all linen was certainly professionally clean - however perhaps the linen is due for an upgrade so we will look into this. We do only supply a starter pack of consumables for your stay, however your suggestion for more has been taken on board. Due to the number of guests the home accommodates we can appreciate that you may need a little more to get you started. For longer stays, you would need to supply some additional items from home though. Thank you again for your time and feedback.

Perfect gem for celebration

This is an outstanding property with a nice swimming pool, a billiard table, and a built-in look out which is a favorite for most guests. The interior design is excellent, plenty of equipment to use. Very clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful; delivered an extra bed at request; and because it was available, we were granted early check-in and later check-out... thank you! If I must say something less favorable, that may be the double beds which we, the spoiled people who are used to King size bed, find a bit small. Many thanks for offering the place.

Bigger than it looks!

Large and lovely home, perfect for groups and families. Far bigger than it looks in pictures with three living areas, three decks and a separate pool area we had enough space to hang out, and do our own thing. Great entertainment with TV's in most rooms and the living areas, lots of cool air conditioning, a beautiful large pool which got a thorough use on a 38 degree day, a pool table and big entertainer kitchen(s!) All we needed and more, we hope to return again next year.

A grand perfect place!

As you look back the venue was perfect for our family and the house was so huge it eliminated a lot of noise. The views were awesome and loved watching the ships sail by. Thanks again was a grand perfect place.
