Lovely location next to Loch Fyne about 15 mins from Inveraray. Host was excellent at communicating. Our only issue was the beds were not the most comfortable.

A spacious property with stunning views across Loch Fyne. The showers and heating are excellent and the kitchen is well equipped. The owner was excellent at communicating and answered questions as they arose. About 15 minutes drive to Inverary and about the same to Lochgilphead.

The cottage had an amazing view of the Loch. The cottage had a full kitchen. Having two bathrooms one up and one down was nice as many places only had one. We took a walk along the shoreline and the local gardens. We drove down to the Macrinhanish Golf Course on the Penisula. A link style course that was situated along the coast. Highly recommend, although it is a little over an hour away but the drive there was amazing! It was nice to end our evenings at the cottage enjoying the view. We definitely would return if we get the opportunity to come back to Scotland.

While our stay was comfortable and the view was Amazing. There are one or two things that could have helped. One being kitchen knives and maybe a few condiments and laundry pods.

lovely stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend here. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable and the welcome pack was a nice touch. It was very good value for 4 of us each having our own room and the view was great and I would definitely return.

Beautiful cottage

Gorgeous views of Loch Fyne at the front and woodland at the back. Loved the open plan layout. Great communication from the owners. We would definitely book here again.

Amazing Space

Amazing location, fully equipped and great views, this place has everything you’ll need for a visit to Loch Fyne. Even close enough for a swim in the loch to start the day right!

Wonderful location

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful house with a stunning lake view. It was spacious and well organized. We also loved that there were many board games and puzzles provided so we never got bored when the weather was bad. A charming habour village Inveraray is just 10-minute drive away.

Comfortable house with great views of Loch Fyne

We had very relaxing holidays at the cottage. The kitchen is very well equipped for self-catering, also for a big family like ours (6 persons). Ideally situated for day trips to Kintyre, Oban and Glen Coe. Very much to be recommended.

Amazing Views

Lovely home with amazing views of Loch Fyne. Property is clean, comfortable and has most anything you would want for a great stay. Very peaceful location. Property owners very good to communicate with. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous Views

Lovely, spacious cottage with fabulous views of Loch Fyne. Very clean and well stocked with amenities. Host in contact after booking and gave excellent directions to area and property. We were 4 friends visiting another friend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.

Holiday in the Highlands

We had a very nice stay at Furnace / Inveraray. House was comfortable for our family of 5 adults! Check in and out was uncomplicated. Directions to find the house were very precise and we found it right away! The area is nice and beautiful and there are great landscapes and archeological sites to visit!

Lovely clean cottage with a beautiful view. The only complaint from the couple in the downstairs bedroom was that they were cold in bed as the duvet was too thin. They had to use a travelling rug from the car over the duvet

Thank you for your feedback. If only you had contacted us during your stay, we could easily have given you another duvet. Although lightweight, the duvet was a 13.5tog winter duvet, which we immediately replaced following your stay. We also noticed that the downstairs bedroom radiator was turned down, which may have been a contributory factor. Overall, I’m glad you enjoyed your stay and the stunning loch views and hope to see you agaIn in the future.

Very enjoyable

Beautiful spot - so peaceful. Lovely and clean and well stocked. My niece had a small problem with the upstairs bathroom tap and toilet flush but apart from that - I could move in!!
