Hoch oben auf einer funktionierenden Rinderfarm gelegen, bietet Ihnen dieses 80 Jahre alte, komplett renovierte Ferienhaus und seine Umgebung Ruhe, Erholung und viel gute, saubere, frische Alpenluft. Wenn man auf der Veranda der Hütte sitzt, hat man einen klaren Blick auf den Mount Feathertop, den Mount Hotham und den Mount Bogong, die das ganze Jahr über spektakulär sind. In der Nacht sind die Sterne klar und fühlen sich unglaublich nah bei Ihnen, so großartig für die Sternbeobachtung.

Ungefähr 8 Autominuten vom Zentrum von Bright entfernt, wo Sie viele hübsche Geschäfte, Restaurants, Supermärkte und Pubs entdecken und genießen können. Etwas weiter entfernt ist ein 35-minütiger Ausflug nach Mt Beauty oder 45 Minuten nach Mt Hotham zum Skifahren im Winter oder 60 Minuten nach Mt Buffalo, wo die Kinder in den wärmeren Monaten im Schnee oder bei einem Buschspaziergang spielen können.

Der Zugang zum Fluss Ovens zum Angeln, Schwimmen oder Entspannen ist nur 2 Autominuten oder einen kurzen Spaziergang oder eine einfache Radtour entfernt. Auch ein einfaches Fahrrad direkt in Bright für Fahrradenthusiasten.

The stay was easy, no issues, beautiful old cottage looking out to farmland and mountains. Will consider again.

Cosy Cabin

Stayed there in Summer, easy to walk down to the creek and cool down, great access to the cycling path, nice property with Feathertop view when you are in the garden, nice cosy wooden style interior. Heating options in Winter might need an update but I cannot really comment on it because we stayed in the summer season.

Peaceful Place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a very quiet and peaceful place. Nice and dark so you can see the stars. The house is a bit old and some parts weren't cleaned so well. But we would come back for sure.

A different heater has be put in the bathroom and the other heater in the lounge, although older, works well when set at the correct temperature and fan speed. Unclean and needs some tlc

The location was perfect, however, there were cobwebs everywhere, dust, dead insects and overall lack of hygiene. Clearly the place had not been cleaned in a very long time.

Cozy farm cottage to stay

It's nice place to stay, was bit concerning about heating system(it's very cold in the morning & night nowadays) as it stated that only1 split system in the lounge room. we are glad to know that the new heating was installed in the bathroom, pls there are electric blankets in the bedrooms as well. not very happy with the press of hot water, not much hot water comes out even we turn it to the max (really need to fix it as there is not enough hot water to wash my hair due to the low pressure), the show head is bit outdated. other than that, we're happy to stay

Autmn stay in Germantown

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyable stay in location 7kms from Bright on a farm property which was just what we wanted. Quiet location with peaceful surrounds. Very adequate and clean kitchen, laundry and bathroom area. House was comfortable but unfortunately heating was inadequate. We reported poorly functioning reverse cycle heating and it was addressed the next day, heating was improved but still very average, Bare wires were on one of the electric blankets and this was also reported and probably replaced by now.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived at Tre-Vista Lane Retreat and were greeted by Rosa who gave us a run down of the property. We were impressed with homey feel of the residence, the cleanliness and the spectacular views of the snow-capped mountains through the Ovens Valley. We were initially less impressed with the reverse cycle air con which is the major source of heating; but through trial and error we eventually had the place toasty (some written instructions would be handy). The beds and bedding were very comfortable, the hot water was plentiful and the property's proximity to Bright was very convenient.All in all - A great place to stay for the money.

Relax at Tre- Vista Lane Retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, excellent. A great location with our grandsons with plenty of room to run around and play. Very peaceful and quiet. The only thing I would recommend would be a bit of work on the clothesline as it has rusty wires, cant be lowered and we could not find clothes pegs. A couple of mice were spotted in the kitchen area on the last day. Also after a torrential downpour a (very) small amount of water was noticed on the Kitchen floor adjacent to the fireplace. It may have come through the ceiling but not sure. Otherwise great and we intend to return again with grandkids in tow. Can also recommend the meals at the "Wandi Pub" at Wandiligong.

Ideal place for peace and quiet

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is a charming cottage in quiet rural surroundings. We have been there three times! Kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable and warm. Plentiful birdlife adds to its charm. It is close to Bright (7Kms) without being in the busy town.Just a few less than great things to note:- Main heating is by a reverse cycle air-con unit in the living room. This unit is badly in need of servicing/upgrade as the heat output is not great and is very noisy. Similarly the heater in the bathroom is virtually useless. All this makes the place uncomfortably cool in colder weather. The light switch from the kitchen to the laundry should be re-positioned to be nearer the kitchen door so that you do not have to cross a dark room to find the light switch! The main light in the living room needs a new globe. The lights in the kitchen could be a bit brighter too!These are relatively minor things and they did not overly detract from what was otherwise a really enjoyable stay.

Peaceful and welcoming

Located in the middle of farmland, the cottage provides a tranquil and peaceful location. It’s close enough to Bright to ride in, and access to shops, cafes etc in Bright is easy. The house is sunny, and has a vet ‘old cottage’ feel. Nearly everything we needed in the kitchen was there. We slept really well, and the beds were comfy. The airconditioner / heater needs service or replacement (noisy) - but our time there wasn’t effected too much by this because of the weather.
