2018 komplett renoviert - alles neu! Außer dem TV-Schrank und dem Esstisch (ich habe keine gefunden, die mir besser gefallen haben)

Fabelhafte Lage in einer Eigentumswohnung direkt am Meer: Kuleana 607 liegt direkt am Meer an der unberührten Westküste von Maui mit herrlichem Panoramablick auf den Pazifik und die wunderschönen vorgelagerten Inseln Molokai und Lanai.

Diese luxuriöse Wohnung im Erdgeschoss öffnet sich zur Veranda, nur 30 Fuß vom Ufer entfernt. Ein privater üppiger gepflegter Rasen ist ALLES, was zwischen Ihnen und dem Pazifik steht. Schöne aktualisierte Unterkünfte erwarten Sie in diesem High-End-Gerät. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein kalifornisches Kingsize-Bett und eine eingebaute Kommode. Es gibt ein zusätzliches bequemes Queen-Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer.
Eine voll ausgestattete Küche und ein Lanai-Restaurant erwarten Sie. Quarz-Theken über den Kirsch-Schränken verleihen ein modernes Ambiente ohne das übertriebene tropische Dekor, das in vielen Wohneinheiten zu finden ist.
Das Badezimmer ist herrlich. Die dramatische Dusche lädt zum Abkühlen nach einem Tag in der Sonne ein; Mit unseren Plüschtüchern abtrocknen.

Unser privater saisonaler Strand ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Während Sie hier sind, können Sie in unserer privaten Schnorchelbucht, zu der auch eine Badeleiter gehört, das fantastische Leben im Meer erkunden. Die Kuleana beheimatet eine ansässige Population von Grünen Meeresschildkröten, und die Beobachtung von Schildkröten ist fast garantiert. Außerdem befinden wir uns am Au ‘Au Channel, wo die Buckelwale den ganzen Winter über (Dezember - April) ihre Babys haben und sich ernähren ... unglaubliche Sichtungen direkt vor der Veranda.

Neben dem Meer und dem saisonalen Strand haben wir auch einen herrlichen beheizten Pool in voller Größe. Für diejenigen, die sich ein bisschen mehr körperlich betätigen möchten, gibt es einen Tennisplatz in regulärer Größe, ein neu aufgetauchtes Shuffleboard und eine Tischtennisplatte.

Unsere BBQs am Meer sind makellos, aber wenn Sie es vorziehen, draußen zu essen, gibt es mehrere Restaurants entlang der unteren Honoapiilani Road. viele zu fuß erreichbar.

Neben den Annehmlichkeiten, die das Kuleana bietet, bietet allein die wunderschöne tropische Gartenlandschaft die Kulisse für einen Hawaii-Urlaub, von dem viele nur geträumt haben.

Perfect Location

Condo was great! Oceanfront property with awesome views. Was perfect for a family of 4. Sandy beach areas are a very short walk to the edge of the property and there is a wonderful pool. If coming to Maui, you have to pick this condo. We’ll definitely be back.

We loved the outlook and location of this apartment. Such a beautiful view with the sound of the sea even reaching the bedroom. We would explore Maui all day and then go to the beach steps from the apartment and swim, often with turtles. The apartment was quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Loved the property

Loved having a private walk out lanai. Visited in Feb so small beach area was not avail. Beach towels were avail. Could have used more bath towels. Two were provided. Amazing experience

If I could give 10 stars I would! Condo is new , clean and has everything you could need. We saw sea turtles and whales right out the back patio. Close to restaurants and shopping. The grounds were well maintained with all kinds of beautiful flowers. Everyone was friendly and respectful of each others space.

Wonderful view and lots of humpback whales in January

This was the perfect spot for us to retreat to at night after spending all day at a resort with the rest of the family. We appreciated the higher quality paper products and kitchen setup, which was a lot better than the family had at the Westin. We liked having air conditioning in the bedroom, but if you are bothered by the sound, bring some earplugs and you should be fine. Thank you for giving us the option to check with housekeeping early to see if the room was ready!

Fabulous resort

The complex was beautiful and well kept. The unit was on the ground floor and we could walk out to the edge where the rocky beach housed several large turtles. The unit was fully furnished with many kitchen tools for food prep. The outside grills were meticulously cleaned every day. The view from the porch was spectacular with whales spouting and breaching for our daily pleasure. Many stand up boarders were out almost daily, except when the wind was too strong. Would highly recommend this rental

Perfect Location in Paradise!

The property is perfectly located to watch Humpback whales frolic in the ocean and beautiful sunsets with no impeded view. The laundry facility, pool, parking and filtered water are very close and convenient. The grounds are well maintained and you can BBQ while watching the sun set and whales head back for the evening. When conditions are right, paddle boarding/surfing and snorkeling are just in front of the property. There is a sea turtle sanctuary also in front of the property and some will frequently beach themselves nearby to bask in the sun. The owner is very responsive to questions/requests and staff on site are friendly and helpful. We'll be back!

Overall, the place was just okay. There is one AC unit in the bedroom for the entire place. This means the bedroom guests will be nice and cold and anyone in the living room will be quite hot. We could never get the main area cool enough. Would not recommend the dining room chairs if you're trying to work remotely, very uncomfortable. The other issue (which the owner was so quick to point out in the rental agreement) is that the beach is only sometimes accessible. That's fine, but maybe don't have this beach photo as your main image for your listing. It's quite misleading.

Hey Alex, I’m so glad to offer a response to your helpful review. Our building is only permitted for one small AC unit. This is regulated by electrical (watts/volts) codes allowed for our property that was built in the 70’s. This restriction applies to all our units and to most of the waterfront properties along the lower road that were also built in the 70’s. Other larger resort properties that were built later (and sit back much further from the ocean) offer more AC power with larger breaker boxes. Also, our beach can and does recede with the seasons as I note in my description and rental agreement. I have visited this issue with my photos and look to other unit listings that also show photos’ of our beach. These shifts in sand are related to currents, winds and tides and are impossible to predict. While we love it when our beaches are here, sadly we miss them when they get pulled back. Finally, I haven’t had to address our chairs so I’m not sure what to offer any future guests in terms of this review issue. Hmmm! They are the chairs that are shown in the photos and this is the first comment I’ve received. Thanks again Alex.

Kahana Stay

The location was perfect and we loved the well kept landscaping which made for pleasant evenings and sunsets. It was nice to have beach chairs, towels, umbrella and snorkel gear. Snorkel gear needs a new mask (it doesn’t seal). The room is dated and small but still good for a party of 2 (not more). Recommendations: Get central AC if possible. We were fine but would have been hot in the summer. Bedroom needs an updated furnishing…especially mattress. There were a few small roaches in the bathroom. The front door upper screen was broken and fell twice. The front could be painted which would really help aesthetically. I would recommend wall mounted tvs to create more space. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. This is a good place to stay if you don’t want to stay in an overpriced resort but still want to be on the water. You don’t get the cleaning services or amenities of a resort but it is a good place to lay your head and relax after a day out on the island. You are close to plenty of shopping, dining, and many beaches. We would definitely stay here again.

This was Phillip and his wife’s first trip to Hawaii. Our unit is located on the lower Honoapiilani Rd. This is an area with several smaller resorts that were built in the mid 70s. The Kuleana is a gem among these quaint properties and those lucky enough to find it return year after year. Having been built in the mid 70s, most are similar in size and amenities. We are limited and restricted by available electrical requirements and none of these smaller properties have central AC, nor will they ever. We simply don’t have the amps for it. We have a built-in AC unit in the bedroom as allowed. We completed a down to the studs remodel in 2018 and topped it off with all new furnishings and accoutrements - including a 20 year warranty mattress. I get more compliments on how comfortable the mattress is than almost any other feature in my unit as noted in other reviews. The bedroom furniture consists of a headboard, platform bed drawers underneath the mattress and 2 slim nightstands. They can be viewed in my Vrbo photos and are still inventoried and available on the island. I agree the TV’s might be mounted successfully on the walls as they are in my other unit 605. I note in my Vrbo description that all extras (chairs, umbrella, snorkeling equipment, and any other beach accessories) are not guaranteed. These items come and go and are very difficult to maintain. I also note on my Vrbo site these units are small and the square footage is stated in the description. Pest control is ongoing in all tropical locations. Our property is on a quarterly pest control maintenance schedule. Both my units are ground floor and this does allow for easier pest access. For this we can either schedule an additional single treatment or shoo them out!! Hah! As with any property, we do have maintenance odds and ends that require upkeep and we take care of these as soon as they are reported. I appreciate all feedback and this opportunity to address the different experiences and expectations of all my guests and all visitors to the islands Thank you Phillip and I am so glad you enjoyed your stay.

Had a great overall experience. Very nice and quiet community. After landing, we were already excited to be in warm weather , but after arriving at the condo and seeing the view; that made it. You literallly walk outside the back door, step onto the grass and the ocean is about 30 feet away. Amazing was our word for the week. We enjoyed watching and snorkeling with the sea turtles who were right outside the condo and down by the rocks. They were swimming in that spot all week. Maui had many places to see and things to do. We put a lot of miles on our rental seeing the whole island. But it was sure nice to come back each afternoon to the condo, make dinner and relax. The community BBQ was a nice place to meet and greet as well. No major negatives. The unit has no central air but the ocean breeze runs right through the condo if you leave the front and patio doors open. We used the portable a-c unit the first night only. I think we needed a day or so to become acclamated. However the bedroom has a long inoperable window that allows you to hear everything going on outside the front of the condo.The kitchen & living room are in the same space so if you have more than 2 people, I could see how it would be tight if you use the sleeper sofa. Again, access to the ocean really makes this a great rental. The owner was very informative and helpful. We appreciated the oppurtunity and we will recommend this to other couples.

We have since added a built in AC unit in the bedroom and had the window repaired.

Reeny keeps her condos updated and well maintained. She is very responsive in her communications and always aims to please. The condo location is perfect for enjoying the best of Maui. We will keep coming back.

Perfect Paradise

Beautiful view with the ocean steps outside your patio. The bed was fantastic, bathroom was newly updated, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. We wish we would’ve been able to stay longer and enjoy all the amenities offered at this resort. The reason I am rating it a little bit lower in one area is because it said it had a safe to put your valuables in, however the safe was not in working condition. Also there were some differences in the details the owner sent us versus the ones listed on Vrbo. Nothing really big, however there needs to be some consistency in the description. We would definitely stay at this place again! It was everything we needed in paradise!

Outstanding serene location and view

If you’re looking for a quiet, non crowded, private location, with excellent security, while still close driving distance to restaurants and beaches, this is the place. The unit is on ground level, with private back porch and ocean view. This unit is very clean and up to date with a nice little but full kitchen and bathroom shower. This condo has only a window AC unit in the bedroom which can be noisy at night but it adequately cools the entire unit. I asked about the beach photo in advance, so I was not surprised that there was extremely limited beach space behind the condo complex-it’s mostly rocks and nothing like the photo, but that was ok for us cause we preferred to drive to multiple beaches to snorkel and explore. After all that, what a treasure of a place to start your day with breakfast on your back porch staring at the islands of Lanai and Molokai, explore for the day, then come home in the evening and relax on the back porch with a glass of wine and use the exceptionally well maintained grill area to cook some steaks while enjoying the amazing view. Extremely happy with our choice.

Great stay at Kuleana

We had at great stay at Kuleana. Beautiful view, room as advertised in photos, great beach equipment available. AC in bedroom works great. Lovely stay.

Hello, fellow Maui lovers. I have been visiting Maui for 35 years. Originally we bought a condo in Maui through our business. When the opportunity presented to purchase my own property, Maui was the natural choice. I have 2 units at the Kuleana and I manage them myself. You will always be dealing directly with me. I live in Seattle with my family but visit Maui and check on my units at least once a year.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

I chose the Kuleana after looking at several properties. It has all the amenities of a luxurious high rise resort, but with an intimate Hawaiian feel. The grounds are impeccable and unit 607 was made to order. It is beautiful and if you wanted, you could arrive at Kuleana 607, unpack your bags and never leave the resort.
Everything is just outside your patio door: Seasonal sandy beach, inviting manicured grounds, private swimming and snorkeling cove.
As I look back on my search for a vacation home, I ask myself how I ever even considered any place else.
This condo is perfect....
