Willkommen in der "Casa Azul" im Esmeralda Resort!
Casa Azul bietet Ihnen ein völlig entspanntes Erlebnis für die wohlverdiente Pause!
Das Hotel liegt im Esmeralda Resort, einem geschlossenen, rund um die Uhr geöffneten kleinen Strandkomplex mit derzeit nur 36 Wohneinheiten. Völlig weg von Lärm und Menschenmassen! Der Komplex bietet Ihnen auch einen der größten Swimmingpools in Sandy Beach und die beste Lage, um die atemberaubenden Sonnenuntergänge am Meer von Cortes bequem von Ihrem weitläufigen und geräumigen Balkon aus zu erleben.
Meine Wohnung bietet Ihnen eine sehr offene Wohnfläche von 2.284 Quadratmetern. Sowohl das Schlafzimmer als auch das Wohnzimmer haben Zugang zum Balkon und blicken auf den Strand.
Das Open-Air-Design mit Gewölbedecken, raumhohen Fenstern und den maßgeschneiderten modernen und gut ausgestatteten Möbeln ermöglicht ein einfaches Leben und Unterhalten mit Freunden und Familie. Die Wohnung verfügt über Lautsprecher in jedem Zimmer und Balkon, so dass Sie Ihre Lieblingsmusik an jedem Ort genießen können, den Sie möchten.
Das Wohnzimmer bietet Ihnen sehr bequeme Sofas und Stühle. Es gibt einen 65 "Smart Screen mit und Apple TV.
Die beiden Schlafzimmer verfügen über ein bequemes Kingsize-Bett, jedes verfügt über einen 40-Zoll-Smart-TV und einen Apple-TV mit Zugang zu Netflix und allen Funktionen, die Apple bietet. Es gibt auch eine Queen-Size-Aufblasmatratze für zwei weitere Gäste (maximal 6)
Speisen Sie drinnen im formellen Esszimmer an einem Glastisch (Platz für 6 Personen) oder am Balkontisch im Freien, um die Sterne zu betrachten.
Die Gourmetküche mit Küchengeräten aus Edelstahl und Granit ist mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet.
Die Wohnung bietet auch 2,5 Badezimmer. Die Hauptduschen und Waschtische sind mit Marmor bedeckt.

We loved our stay! The beds were a little uncomfy but a few drinks in and you wont care. Lol! The outdoor furniture and mini fridges need updated. Great views! Wish the resort had more finished amenities but still great for a wknd.

Great get-away on Sandy Beach

The space is beautiful, we enjoyed the pools on property and loved sitting at Diego's right at the pool area. Diego's is a lovely space, attentive and friendly stayy eith good food and drinks. We also walked to Wrecked at the Reef. Almost a mile (wear sunscreen!) But it was a fun beach walk! Definetly recommend.

Relaxing stay

Nice condo with plenty of room for our group. Great views of the beach and pool from the living room and balcony. You can hear the live bands at Diegos while relaxing on the patio. The owner is very responsive and helpful. I look forward to the additions to this resort.

Overall the stay was great. There was a broken vanity in one of the batjrooms which i immediately sent over a picture tonthe owner. Pot and pans should be newer and there should have had more shower towels available or at least some laundry soap to wash them. The base on the tv was super load and hard to adjust. But overall was a great stay

This condo was beautiful!

We stay at Esmeralda every May because we have family that own there and it's a bit of a family reunion. This was our first time at Casa Azul and we were quite impressed. Beautifully decorated condo that is fully stocked and ready for use. I felt like we were able to pack a bit lighter then usual because they had an air mattress already there for our kids. Kitchen had all utensils we would need as well as towels lotion body wash and shampoo in the bathrooms. Owners were very friendly and had open communication the whole time making sure our needs were met.

Stunning Condo

We recently spent 3 nights at Casa Azul, the condo is beautiful. Whenever we were in the condo, we were extremely happy :) great surround sound, easy to connect to. Victor is an absolute pleasure to work with and very accommodating. If you're looking for a swim-up bar with a crowd, this is not the place for you, if you want some peace and quite, then this is definitely the place for you. The facility is in need of work, there are no amenities, however, the staff was very helpful and courteous.

Good Location With a Few Inconveniences

The condominium itself is nice and comfortable, but in my opinion, the kitchen could be better equipped. The toaster didn’t work, and most of the pans were scratched, making it difficult to cook. The beach in front of the resort is quite rocky, so it’s not the easiest for swimming or walking barefoot.While the location does offer a beach view, it’s also partially obstructed by nearby construction and a desert landscape—so it’s not a full beach view as we expected. The resort is beautiful overall, but compared to other places we’ve stayed in Rocky Point, it’s missing some family-friendly attractions and activities.One thing that surprised us was the detailed checkout checklist. We were asked to wash the dishes, place all used towels in the washer, clean the countertops, take out the trash, close all the blinds, and turn off the A/C before leaving. While we always respect and take care of the properties we stay in, this was the first time we encountered such an extensive list—especially after paying a cleaning fee. It just felt a bit excessive compared to our past experiences with other condos in the area.

Labor Day Weekend Getaway

Myself and four friends traveled to Victor's condo over labor day weekend. The resort itself is unfinished but the condo took our breath away upon entering. It's open windows allowed for the sun and waves to wake us up every morning which was great! Home is well equipped with the necessities...wifi...tv also works fine. Victor was easy to work with and instructions about the home were well laid out...easily one of the best condos in all of Rocky Point. The Esmeralda Resort has little to no occupants so you have the pool to yourself and full beach access. There are nearby resorts if you need to purchase items from the store. The condo staff were very nice, helping us with taxis to downtown and poolside chairs and umbrellas, etc. I parked my car on the property and it was safe the entire time...there are security guys there all night. Overall, it was a great trip and even greater condo. Thanks Victor! Highly recommend.

I've stayed at many condos and hotels in Rocky Point (Puerto Penasco), Mexico and I have to say that this was the best 2 bedroom for many reasons. The kitchen had everything (top of the line items) you could want. Most places have second hand items to use. Spacious bathrooms, super comfortable furniture, great patio furniture (not cheap plastic - the real deal), the extra half bath was a complete surprise and views where Spectacular. The owner stayed in contact with me before, during and after our stay. Victor is the man! Expect to pay heavy fees and taxes no matter where you stay. It's just business, so why not stay at a palace like the Esmeralda Resort. If privacy is what you want, privacy is what you share have. We had our own private beach and pool. We didn't have to get up at 7AM to claim a lounge chair at the oversized pool. Plus, we could bring our own drinks to the pool. That saved us big bucks. Victor, thank you again for giving my friends the time of their life, I'll be back! I'll be back!

Five stars for the unit and owner, but not the resort

Overall we had a fabulous stay and would maybe stay here again. Victor, the owner, is awesome! Great communication and got back to us right away when we had questions on operating things in the unit. And the unit itself was gorgeous. Plenty of room for all five of us and could comfortably fit more. The view from the balcony is by far the best we’ve had at any property on Sandy Beach. And having Diego’s on-site was perfect! But, the property overall is definitely not five stars. It is still under construction, with some units in the finished towers still being worked on. There is a ton of security, which is good except they seem more concerned with food around the pool than anything else. And you have to ask for everything…pool umbrellas are not put out unless you ask. And girlie are not allowed on the balcony units, which makes sense. You have to request one from the property….but they don’t have one because it was damaged in a storm a couple of months ago and never replaced. So overall a good place if you can overlook the little annoying property management issues.

We enjoyed our stay here. The king beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Enough towels for everyone. Views were stunning. Washer and dryer and DW in the condo. Plenty of room on the balcony for everyone to sit and enjoy. The condo has beautiful architecture. The kitchen has basic tools for cooking, which we used. Diegos Tiki bar has good food and drinks, it can be somewhat noisy in the evenings until 10pm. The sliding glass doors are heavy and block the sound if you don't like it. Victor was responsive to all our questions. We would stay here again.

Great Condo

The condo was in excellent shape and provides a safe and quiet stay, it was everything we expected.

What happened here?!

The property manager VERY good at communication before our stay. We were a little shocked at how much damage the rental had: missing chairs/decor in the great room, many screws on the wall for missing pictures, bi-fold door to the bathroom gone, the fridge ice/water dispenser was broken, the washing machine worked only on the short cycle, drywall damage, patio wet-bar not working, kitchen window was open but wouldn’t shut, ceiling fan on the patio is gone with wires hanging out and more lightbulbs burned out than I can count. The Esmeralda Resort property is about 25% finished so there is only 1 pool and a very small Tiki restaurant/bar. The pool was nice but offered only a very few stiff wood plank chairs with no cushion & 3 umbrellas for the whole pool deck. The hot tub looked brand new but was not heated. The owner left nice beach towels & chairs. The kitchen was well stocked with all “the things”, I was disappointed that we found out the day before check in that we were not allowed to use the master bathroom bathtub due to town code for water conservation. Overall, this place looks like it could be amazing again with some basic maintenance, it does not look like the description pictured anymore. I feel bad for the owner, he likely paid 600K and poured his heart & soul into it for it to be trashed.

Warning! Do not rent this condo!

My family and I arrived expecting to check in at 2 PM as it was stated. When we got up to the condo housekeeping was just starting to clean the condo. We waited almost 2 hours before we can actually get into our condo. When we got into the condo the floors were soaking wet and the kitchen was a mess. The second day at the property the elevator stopped working. We had to use the stairs for the rest of the day. Day number three my son and I got stuck in the elevator for almost 35 minutes. There was no water pressure in either one of the showers just a slight drizzle. Dana number two

Originally from Mexico City, I moved to Northern California in 2000. In 2013 we decided to move to a sunnier place and found that Palm Springs was perfect for our lifestyle. We love the outdoors and sunny days.
While I still keep my roots in Mexico, I have also enjoyed and discovered so many amazing places in California and now getting to explore more the beautiful Sonoran Desert and the Sea of Cortes beaches!

We love the beach and always dreamt of owning a beach condo not far from home. From the first time we visited Puerto Penasco we fell in love with the warm water clear beaches. We live in Southern California and the drive to Puerto Penasco is very convenient (only 5 hours) so we get to enjoy our beach home more often.
From all the resort communities, we liked Esmeralda the best: Its architectural contemporany design sets the complex apart from the rest. Even that the whole complex is not finalized yet, it offers everything you might need to enjoy a beach vacation and truly relax. The beaches are great to swim, take long walks at sunset, or in the morning. The location of the condo is perfect to witness the everyday changing amazing Sea of Cortes sunsets. The very large balcony of our property allows us to create a great outdoor living space to enjoy meals, take the sun, read a book, enjoy a group conversation or simply just rest! Some of the best memories of our life, have been created here in Puerto Penasco!

From the moment that you open the door, you will immediately feel at home. We wanted to create a comfortable open space with most of the amenities we have at home, but also a relax casual environment. The complex is very quiet, spacious and safe. the easy access to the beach and its location, sets the place away from the crowds and noise that are very common at the other resort communities. You will love Casa Azul!
